The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao and Sun Eckhart got off the spaceship and Alisha followed them. Bai Hu was the first person to come over and greet them. He bowed and said, "Welcome to the immortal sword sect, Senior Sun."

Sun Eckhart nodded and asked, "Balor did not come over?"

Bai Hu said, "Master has gone to the abyssal edge to deal with something, he will be back in a few minutes."

Sun Eckhart nodded, and Bai Hu greeted Yang Dao. The young boy skipped everything and said, "Big brother Bai, I want to visit that slash."

Bai Hu was surprised, but then he chuckled and said, "You cannot visit the abyssal edge just yet. You will have to comprehend something and work hard."

Yang Dao nodded and asked, "Tell me what is it? I will learn it all."

Bai Hu said, "Come along, I will show you around the Ravine and also tell you what you need to do."

Yang Dao and Alisha looked at Sun Eckhart who nodded and said, "Go along, I will wait for Balor at his chamber."

Bai Hu bowed to Sun Eckhart and then he took the two people away. He could tell that Yang Dao was agitated after sensing the strong sword intent from the abyssal edge. He did not bother to show them the training field.

On the way, he met a lot of people from the sect and they would all greet Bai Hu with respect, the latter also did not push away anyone and humbly returned the greeting. Someone will eventually ask him for tips and he would help them. As they were moving, Bai Hu stopped in front of a tower and said, "Dao, this is the tower of trial."

Yang Dao nodded and asked, "Explain please."

"This tower contains the spirit phantoms of the ancestors of our sect from the time the sect has established, these phantoms have been stored here. They act as the test to clear the first stage in the process of visiting the Abyssal edge." replied Bai Hu with a smile.

Yang Dao nodded and said, "What are the rules?"

Bai Hu said, "No cultivation, only sword skills. Can you do that? The more phantoms and levels you clear, the closer you can get to the Abyssal edge." with a challenging undertone.

Yang Dao raised his eyebrow and asked, "How many floors did you clear?"

"Every floor has nine stages, and nine floors in total. I cleared the ninth stage of the eighth floor," said Bai Hu.

Yang Dao nodded and asked, "Can I go in now?"

Bai Hu nodded and said, "I will ask the deacon on duty." Then he walked forward to talk to an old man standing at the side with a desk in front of him.  The old man looked at Yang Dao and was surprised. He did not expect Yang Dao to be so young, he was aware of the name who won the pentagon trials. However, this was something unprecedented.

After Bai Hu negotiated, the old deacon called over Yang Dao and said, "Young Master Yang, you can enter the tower."

Yang Dao bowed to the deacon and said, "Senior Sister Alisha..."

Alisha smiled and said, "Go ahead, I will be here."

Yang Dao nodded and took out the black sword from his space ring. Bai Hu asked, "Did you change your sword?"

The boy did not reply and with a smile, he went inside the tower. The tower was a simple building, after entering one would find themselves in a room, there was no door in such a room. Suddenly a figure condensed in front of Yang Dao.

The figure was of a young man, he had a faint smile on his faint and a sword in his hand. Yang Dao brandished his sword as well and the battle began.

Outside the tower, the people who did not know who was Yang Dao asked Bai Hu about his origins, and while some people were awed by his background, while some were envious. A negligible group of disciples wanted to discuss with Yang Dao, on what basis he could cut the line.

The deacon on duty said, "The first floor cleared."

This statement sent out a wave of shock. Someone cried out loud, "How long has it been since he went inside?"

The Deacon replied, "Ten minutes." The people were again finding it hard to believe in their ears.

Bai Hu chuckled and said, "You people need to go out and walk the world. The genius of Yang Dao is not normal."

Alisha stood beside him and nodded slightly. The curious people came over to ask them Bai Hu about this child and they were surprised to discover his identity. The lemon hearts were still producing a lot of noise, so the Deacon snapped, "Shut Up."

The scene quietened and the Deacon said, "Do not lose the face in front of the guests, talk to Young Master Yang when he comes out."

The people scrambled and the news soon caught fire, engulfing the whole sect. The various geniuses came over to look at the situation, and when they arrived in front of the trial tower, they were surprised.

Bai Hu was the brightest of them all. However, he was watching the scene in front of him with eyes wide as a saucer. After crossing the fourth floor, the movements inside the trial tower will be visible to the public outside because of the array formation inside the tower. Yang Dao was visible to the people.

He held a long sword in his hand, with his free hand placed behind the back as he fought the spirit phantom in front of him. The speed of the attacks was too much. Bai Hu asked Alisha, "What has happened to him?"

"He met someone from the demon realm and came to a draw. His skills have significantly improved. That and also Athena's departure." replied Alisha.

Bai Hu did not ask more, because this little monster, had just cleared the fourth floor and was advancing to the fifth floor. With a sigh, Bai Hu gave up on the idea of competition. Yang Dao was already fighting with the senior spirit phantom inside the trial tower. The person in the image seemed to be from the older generation.

Yet when Yang Dao fought with him, the elder looked like a newbie. The reason was that, even without his cultivation, Yang Dao used his footwork and his senses to fight. Sword art was not only about the blade but about the wielder.

Yang Dao progressed with less to no difficulty and soon he was at the same level as Bai Hu. Yet the child did not show any sign of stopping. A senior disciple asked, "Senior Brother, why do his skills seem to have improved tremendously?"

Alisha did not want to reply at first, but when she was gazed at by Bai Hu, the young master of the immortal sword sect, how could she deny it? She said, "He experienced a state of epiphany recently and gained a lot."

That was it. The people could not help but be envious of Yang Dao. However, before they could germinate any bad intentions in their hearts, they watched his skills, this guy was definitely not easy. Bai Hu suddenly exclaimed, "This monster, he broke through to the nascent soul realm?"

Alisha nodded and thought, 'Oh finally realized.'

Bai Hu did not say anything afterward, the rest of the people were silent as well. However, a little voice attracted everyone, "Finally, I get to meet him again."

Bai Hu turned his gaze and found a heroic boy standing with his hand resting on the hilt of a sword on his waist. He called out, "Jian, did not master tell you to temper yourself. What are you doing here?"

Xia Jian was the talent that Balor had discovered during the Daemon Cleansing and bought over as his personal disciple. Xia Jian was also the boy whom Yang Dao had fought for the first time. Xia Jian was abused by his father, but Yang Dao changed it all in one meeting, he could not help but feel eternal gratitude.

He heard Bai Hu's voice and bowed to him before speaking, "Elder brother, Yang Dao is someone I know, and I am here because of him. I wished to see him and see if he will still be willing to cross blades with me."

Bai Hu was surprised, he asked what was this all about and Xia Jian told him. The disciples were crazy, to think, the person they called the young sword demon, had already lost to this demon inside the trial tower, then did it not make Yang Dao a sword god?

Well, they did not know but Yang Dao was already called something like that back in the sovereign sect. Alisha said, "He cleared the seventh floor." making everyone tremble.

Bai Hu sighed and said, "I should have taken him to the abyssal edge directly. This guy is pointing a finger at us all and calling us weak."

Xia Jian chuckled and said, "He is just saying, catch up to me. Yang Dao is that kind of a person."
