The Universe Conspired For Us To Meet
15 Wedding celebrations-2
Ronnie was separated from Jayne for hardly sometime now. Yet he felt so restless. He shuddered at the thought of having to lose her.
Just when he was lost in his thoughts, Jayne gracefully walked out of the Chief's house.
She stopped in her tracks on seeing the extremely handsome man before her. Her man to be precise. His maroon upper robe matched with her. He looked extremely attractive even while just sitting there doing nothing. But then she found him lost in deep thoughts and his expressions dull. She quietly walked up to him from behind him
"One smile surely can't change the world but your smile will change mine." Ronnie's mouth curved upwards on hearing his favourite voice from behind.
He turned around and froze on seeing the extremely elegant beautiful woman in front of him. Her delicate bright eyes exuded an aura of perfect radiance. Her fair skin complemented with the maroon robe and all other ornaments she'd worn. WIth the distinctive cap covering her head, it totally masked that she was even injured in her head. No matter what, her cute nose ring always topped in making her looking extra-gorgeous. He was so lost in looking at the pretty women in front of him that he forgot to speak.
He got up from his seat and didn't do anything else but just hugged her and said, "Your smile changed the entire course of my life. You are looking very pretty my Jenny."
Jayne flushed heavily. Her face turned beet red. She couldn't look him in the eye. 'Good that he hugged me. I can't dare to look at him.' She sighed inwardly.
By then Da Nuru came in. He walked up to them and begged, "Please you two lovebirds. Don't steal the limelight. After all its my wedding. I hope you can leave some of it to me as well."
Jayne and Ronnie burst into a laughter now.
Ronnie had carried his camera in his backpack. He took it out and started clicking pictures.
The wedding ceremony began after that.
Da Nuru's family were dressed in their best clothes. It was a custom to go in procession to the girl's house. Luckily the girl's house was close by. They didn't have to walk far.
There, the groom and his family were entertained with food and drink and were expected to dance and sing in return. Thus everyone began dancing. Ronnie and Jayne joined in the merry. They also danced along wit them.
After sometime, Ronnie noticed that Jayne's dance moves were getting very gentle yet graceful. It looked like her body had the lithe to control those intricate dance moves in spite of her weak, fragile body.
Slowly she began getting so involved in dancing that she herself didn't realize the mesmerising effect it had on the crowd. Everyone stopped their movements and watched her extremely intricate and ceremonial performance,
On the other hand, Jayne never realized that people had actually stopped dancing and she had turned into the center of attraction and the spotlight was on her. She continued dancing like no one was watching.
She then paused for a moment while twirling around, her expressions disturbingly serene yet vibrant. She froze on seeing that everyone's attention were on her dance.
The crowd erupted into a thunderous applause at that very moment.
