The Queen of Kings

Chapter 27:Epilogue

It had been about sixteen years since Sara had stepped up as queen. After her wounderous torture sessions with those who were left of the dark alliance she made an example out of them while also ensuring the issue never came about again. She helped her mates issue policies and make appointments to service all of her people both like and dark. She vetted all the candidates of course with her mates by her side and allowed the people of the dark kingdom so choose their leaders like a democracy. Many didn't like it at first but it was a happy medium. The royal house knew the dark leaders could be trusted and the dark kingdom still had representatives they chose, except for the rogues of course. The Rogue Vampires could not be trusted at all and were eradicated with swiftness. They we're dealt with accordingly; either redeemed and accepted into a pack, made their own or were put down. After her werewolf boy triplets she had twins for Mala'ika, a boy and girl. Then twins for Balaur, both boys and Murciél, both girls. Then she started with Triplets all over again for Cythraul and then Mahō, two boys and a girl. "What part of I'm not babysitting didn't you get?" groaned Mazekin. "You keep this up your vagina is going to look like a stargate." she added and started laughing when Sara threw an empty bottle at Mazekin's head. "I should have never introduced you to the Sci-Fi channel." Sara said, rolling her eyes. "Hey at least it was good back when you used to watch it." Mazekin retorted and Sara nodded in agreement.

Hele ran into the kitchen and waved hello at Mazekin. "Hey baby girl. Everyone is ready but the kids are kind of nervous." He informed her and she nodded placing a burping cloth over her shoulder and followed Hele out to the backyard. The triplets are shifting for the first time on their sixteenth birthday and then hopefully soon they'll find their mates. Sara wonders if they'll end up sharing like their dads and laughs to herself. 'Poor girl' she thought silently, thinking about how overprotective her boys could be. Sara walked out and smiled at the presence of the pack and family. Her entire family was here including some of the kids' friends and even alliance packs to celebrate the Royal Alpha Prince's first shifts. The Alarm on Hele's phone went off, the exact time she had delivered her first son and on que he began to shift. Sara was there as moral and emotional support as Hele walked them through the change through their link. Their eldest, Jason, shifted into a pure white wolf with purple eyes and everyone gasped. To be a white wolf meant you held powers other wolves only dreamed of and were ten times stronger, faster and your senses were that much sharper than any other Alpha. He would be the strongest King Alpha to grace the kingdom in millennia. Lucian, their middle son, changed into a deep brown wolf with red eyes. The shifted brothers butted heads in familiarity and love. Their youngest, Ulric, shifted into a pitch black wolf with deep blue eyes just like his father.

They all butt heads and howled as the rest of the pack shifted and howled. Sara handed her youngest child, Yuki, to her father and hopped on Hele's back so she could run with her son's and the pack. After a few hours running around the lands the pack headed back to the fire pit that had been going all day and shifted back to partake in the great feast. The princes naturally would be ravenous as it was their first shift and they were essentially eating for two now. As the festivities continued Sara was approached by a super excited and bubbly black hair, caramel skinned girl. Her hair was braided in an intricate pattern of cornrows that fell down her back and pasted her butt. Based off of the free flowing emerald dress decorated with precious stones and gems she assumed she was Amiiah, Princess of the fae. "Queen Sara it is an honor to be here and finally meet you." she greeted in a shy but happy whisper. "Likewise princess. I feel bad your parents couldn't make it." Sara said with a pout. "I know and they wish they could be here too but humans are getting too close to our homelands so duty calls." she replied and Sara nodded in understanding. "Oh would you like to meet the boys of honor?" Sara asked and Amiiah blushed but nodded. Sara smiled as her innocent display and grabbed the girls hand leading her over to the boys. "Boys, I'd like you to meet Amiiah, princess of the Faes." Sara introduced, as she moved over. Aiimah was much smaller than her and was effectively hidden behind Sara's full and tall form.

Amiiah's eyes grew wide and the boys all sucked in a deep breath of air stopping mid chew to stare at the girl. They growled lowly and everyone turned around to find out what was going on. Aiimah wasn't sure herself but couldn't find the will to move her feet behind Sara again. Hele watched with a knowing smirk and nodded to Sara 'They're mates.' was all he said and Sara had to stop herself from squealing with excitement. "Mate." they growled in sync and Amiiah gasped in surprise as her face grew red. Sara stepped away and back slowly as the boys all stood up and Stalked towards the princess like she was prey and she stared at the boys like a deer in headlights. They reached her and rested their foreheads on her heads and closed their eyes taking deep breaths and memorizing her scent. "Uh...H-hi. Um...I-I'm A-Amiah, nice t-to meet you." she squeaked out. She growled lowly in a comforting way and the two on her side began rubbing up and down her back slowly getting her to relax. "Hello Amiirah." They said and lifted their heads to smile down at her. Their 6'7" frames towering over her 5'2" self.

Sara had been in the Kingdom of Angels many times before since her Mating to Mala'ika but now their son and daughter were taking their first Flight Among the Light and they couldn't have been more proud. Sara was mounted on Noian behind Mala'ika and the twin who stood at the edge of the cliff. "Ready?" Mala'ika asked and the kids nodded. "Yes papa." their daughter Rana spoke in her soft voice. "Yeah!" their son Wata yelled in excitement. Together the three of them extended their wings and jumped off the edge of the cliff, Sara not far behind. They flew among the birds and clouds as a family before other angels joined and began singing the ceremonial song of passage into adulthood. 'They're all growing up too fast.' Sara told Mala'ika with a sniffle and he chuckled back in her mind. 'I know raina, I know' he replied.

Sara stood in the backyard of their home in upstate New York and smiled up at the full moon. Noian landed not far from her and hopped on his back, taping him with her heel to let him know she was ready and they took off into the night sky to fly to Romania where Balaur and their twins were preparing for their first flight. It was so cute to see the boys shifted into their smaller dragon forms dwarfed by Balaur's. "Now Draco, Arde. I want a clean flight out there. No hard flanks or banks. Simple and level. Feel the sky and the winds and ride them, control them." Balaur instructed with a huff smoke coming out his nostrils. Sara and Noian giggled remembering Balaur giving them the same instructions when they were learning to fly together. "Otherwise you deal with your mother when you get back." He added and the boys gasped with fear. "Oh I am not that bad!" Sara retorted and the boys giggled before they ran off ahead and started to flap their wings slowly taking off. As they lifted themselves higher and began to break the cloud line the sun began to reflect off their golden and earth tone scales. 'Precious' Sara said in a mental whisper. 'Indeed they are.' Balaur replied with a smile to his queen.

The Fernandez family was back on the private island owned by Murciél. The girls were turning fifteen and that meant it was their quinceañera. Sara was helping the girls into their dresses while Abuela Carmen did hair and Mama Mariana did light makeup. In the party hall area Papa Juan-Miguél was helping Murciél with getting guests in and keeping things organized. Antonió and Marcós had completed the final sound check of the sound system and had the music going currently playing some gypsy kings until the party got really going. Once the girls were announced formally everyone made their way to the dance floor while the girls ran around and hung out with their friends. Sara looked at her brothers in Law and nodded. They returned the gesture and switched out the music so the reggaeton started playing and the younger crowd lost their minds. Sara found herself on the dance floor, very much keeping up with the younger crowd and somehow earning her cool points. The older folks seemed confused but Sara understood this as a party for her girls and she knew what they liked. The previous playlist wasn't cutting it. Eventually Murciél had his dance with his girls and so did Sara but she made sure Antonió and Marcós kept the music up to date and jumping. "Mama. Gracias por todos! (mom thank you for everything)" the girls cried out happily. "Por supuesto mijas. (But of course my girls)" Sara replied and hugged them lovingly before all three of them were picked up by Murciél. 'Mi familia' he whispered to them across the link with a smile on his face.

Sara and Mahō had two boys and a girl, Ryu, Soshi and Hana. And today they were performing their first Festival of Magic. It was a chance to showcase their magic, now only how powerful they were but how well they could control it. Though Ryu and Soshi took after their father in the fact that their magic manifested as easter style dragons, Hana took after her mother and her magic manifested as a giant pink phoenix. The music began to play as the performers bannged on the drums and dancers began to tell the tale of the triplets feats thought out the years so far. Hana manifested her magic first and her brothers followed suit their dragons circling her phoenix protectively but they worked together. The flow of power was evident but the control was amazing. By the time the performance was completed the sky was painted beautiful colors almost like the aurora borealis until it slowly faded into the night sky. Everyone applauded the young mages who bowed formally before stepping off the platform to meet their parents. "That was fucking badass." Sara said jumping up and down with joy. The triplets laughed and hugged their parents. " I am so proud of you three you have no idea." Mahō praised touching his forehead to theirs. "Come, let us celebrate!" he added and Sara grabbed Hana off to go dancing under the Sakura trees. 'This is a happiness I would have never known without you.' Mahō said over their link. 'And I you, my king.' she replied as the boys joined the girls under the falling petals in simple mindless fun.

Slowly but surely her kids grew over the years as did her family. Her young began to find their own mates and in time create their own families. Sara found herself thinking back to her time in the orphanage and everything she had been through over the years before she met her mates and even after they had been together for some time. It wasn't easy, it wasn't like they never fought but they always worked through it together and came out happier and stronger than before. Immortal as they all were, their time together held a lot of firsts for themselves and one another and she looked forward to everyone with joy and confidence.
