The Other Side of the Mask

"What?! You're launching an attack? That's too dangerous!" my father, the King bellows.

"Father, I am a princess of this country, so I will protect it. Don't worry, I will come back. I'm not weak," I calm him down and explain.

"My mother sips some tea and nods, "I trust YingYue. She reminds me of when you were younger, darling, and you always came back, no matter what."

My father finally calms down. I had read that my father, the King, actually helped protect the country from a terrorist group, which is impressive, especially since terrorist attacks are quite fatal and dangerous. I smile at my parents.

"I'll be back."

The summer heat cools as we arrive at the harbor town. The bandit that we had captured finds us and talks.

"We have a large amount participating. We'll take care of the East and West."

"Very well, thank you. We'll take care of the North and arrest the nobles."

We all nod and start. I pull out my dagger. We swiftly infiltrate the city. I allow my dagger to scrape the pirates as they drunkenly waddle around. After knocking many of them out on the street, I tied them to poles and buildings, wherever I worked.

After a couple minutes, I have Commander Yang and some of the unit members follow me as we infiltrate the nobles' homes. As I had read, there should be a total of two noble families; a total of five people to arrest. I knock on the door.

A noble man opens the door and his face turns to shock and fear.

"C-commander Y-yang…"

Commander Yang cuffs him as the unit cuffs the others.

"Escort them to the carriage," I command.

"W-wait! Who are you to arrest a noble?"

I glare at him. It doesn't even matter who when you break laws. I exit the room and have the unit leader and others accompany me to the other noble's house. A bandit messenger comes up to me after we take care of the nobles.

"How is it on the bandit's side?" I ask.

"We have hit a problem. We are fighting Sadie Shih and her pirates."

"Sadie Shih?"

"Yes, the strongest pirate group in control. She is the strongest pirate in this place right now," the bandit shivers as he says it.

"Take me there," I demanded.

We walk swiftly, capturing pirates along the way. We arrive at a battlefield as many lay injured and blood is shed everywhere. I glance in horror.

After a couple seconds, I take command again, "Carry the injured away! Now!"

The bandits listen and hurry away. After getting rid of the last of her troops, I fight the famous Sadie Shih.
