The Magus of Genesis

Episode 24: Elf Princess/Elvish Princess

What are you doing back now, congratulating me?

"I need to ask you something."

Nina responded faintly to the elf, which she called herd blue in such a tone as to eat and hang.

"If you call me a falling out, of course you do."

"Hun. Naturally. There's nothing I don't know."

The herd of blue stretches its breasts high.

"Why do we live longer than rabbits and deer and then them?

Running a glimpse into Ai and D'Arga, Nina asked.

"Ha."

The herds laugh at her like that with their noses.

"... why should I tell you that?"

And he distracted himself and said so with sweat running down his face.

Oh, I don't know.

"You don't seem to know……………………."

"You don't know..."

He thought the exact same thing as me, and Eye and D'Arga whispered at the same time.

"Well, I didn't think you knew either."

"I know! I know, but I just don't want to tell you!

"This guy is a bunch of blue. He's stupid, but he's not that bad, so give him the proper regards. '

"Who is stupid, who is!

Ignoring the calling crowd blue, Nina turns to us and explains.

"I know, because it's in the back. Let's go."

"Hey, what the fuck! What did I just say!?

The herd chased Nina, who said in Japanese and walked out with Stasta.

'Here, listen to people. You, I'm guessing you're not trying to get to the elders. Guys like you are not a good match to meet, dude, can't you hear me?

The herd blue persistently stops, but Nina completely ignores it.

'Is that it? Could you really not hear me? Hey, maybe you don't even see it? Me, have you become transparent?

If you mistook something too ignorantly, the herd blue starts dancing something like a hilarious dance of motion. I'm kind of pathetic the other way around.

Nevertheless, I don't see any other people at all, but only my gaze pierces me if I do. Apparently there were quite a few elves living in this forest.

I thought the elves were living alone, but the exception seems to be Nina.

As Nina walked away, ignoring the crowd blue, she eventually saw a giant tree. The fattest tree on the planet was a baobab tree, about a dozen meters in diameter? But the diameter of the tree in front of him clearly seemed to be over a hundred meters.

There was a large cave in the middle of it, and the wide staircase stretched out into it as if it were a temple. Nina climbs up the stairs without hesitation.

'Hey, don't! Bear monkey, stop the fall!

That's what the herd blues scream about, but they don't want to go in the trees, and with his voice on his back we stepped into the trees.

"This is… amazing."

I shrug unexpectedly as I glanced around.

Inside the tree cave was full of light pouring down from heaven. Carefully polished white wooden skin reflects sunlight, adding to its mysterious atmosphere.

And in the midst of the overflowing light was a long elf with a long mustache. Sitting deeply in a large chair formed integrally with the floor, its white beard is long enough to cover the entire body and is clearly old. In spite of this, there was no such thing as old or decaying in its appearance, but only harsh atmospheres like giant trees and spiritual mountains.

"I've already heard the story"

I opened my eyes unexpectedly to the words of the elder and the elf.

Because he said it in Japanese.

"Can you speak our language?"

"Grass must be everywhere, dragon child."

Does that mean you heard everything about our conversation before you got here?

I'd like to think that's haphazard for a boulder, but at least it seems true that he has some idea of our trends.

"In conclusion, I know a few ways to extend your lives."

'Is it true!?

I was about to jump to an elder who switched words to elf.

'Please. Tell me! I'll do anything!

'It does not extend to that. You owe me. "

"Eun...?

I twisted my neck to a completely unpredictable story.

I've burned the woods with light, but I don't remember doing anything to make the elves thank me.

"He would have helped us and brought us back."

"Princess!?

Our gaze came together to Nina, and she had a bad look.

"Nina, you were a princess?

"…… Sort of."

Nina looks disgusted and snorts.

Apparently, he hasn't really touched on the subject.

"Well, let me show you around."

As the elders softly lift their arms, another elf comes and leads us' over here '.

Trying to keep up with it, I looked back.

Because Nina wasn't trying to move off the spot.

"Nina?"

"I say goodbye here."

"Why!?

"Originally, I ran away from home."

Speaking of which. Earlier, the elder said he was grateful for bringing me home.

No way, she doesn't want to go home to fulfill my wish. I thought she came back here. Haven't you always hated her so much that she blued?

"Don't look like that. It's not like we'll never see each other again."

As I perceived in my heart, Nina said so.

"But, Nina"

"Ai's what's important to you, isn't it? Even I don't like it when the eye dies soon. So this is fine."

If you say so, I can't argue with you.

"Goodbye. I've had a lot of fun with you in the last decade."

Nina smiles.

It was somewhere, and for some reason the expression bothered me terribly.

"Come here."

Before trying to say anything, the guide's elf rushes us in an unspoken tone.

With a small wave of Nina on our back, we followed a giant wooden sinus.

As soon as he left the sinus, he looked at us like that hatefully. It's a bunch of blue.

He stares at my face as he says something.

In the end, however, there was no voice, and eventually his figure disappeared in confusion on the trees.

"Doctor...... Nina, are you sure this was a good idea?

I couldn't answer Eye's question.

As for the princess, I guess she has a role to play in this settlement.

Or maybe if you don't fulfill it, the Elf settlement itself will be in trouble.

If that was out of line with her own will, I didn't know which one to respect.

'Please wait here. I'll formulate the medicine.'

Eventually, when the guide elf reaches the same tree sinus as earlier, he makes us wait outside and go into the sinus. Even so, the next tree is much smaller than the elder's sinus. That said, it seemed like a giant tree about ten meters away. Apparently, the elves were digging holes in the living tree to make it their home.

'I got it. Drink this, please.'

After a while, the elf comes out of the sinus with a wooden vessel.

What was inside the vessel was a powdered medicine.

A few ingredients must have been something like medicine or a rind bowl.

Fine grains of different colors mixed together somewhat.

'This, what are the ingredients?

"Desert spider tail and white spring water flower roots, stick fish liver, and some mushrooms."

It was just something I had never even heard of.

I want to ask if there are any side effects, but I don't know what to describe the word 'side effects' in Elf. Besides, I was a little hesitant to ask the person who made it, "Is there no harm?"

"Okay, I'll have a drink."

Put your mouth on a wooden vessel, and the eye tilts it.

On the verge of the powder pouring into its lips, I was tapping off the medicine.

"What is it?

"Doctor?"

Elves and eyes circle my eyes at my sudden actions.

'Isn't this what stick fish are?

I pick up branches of trees and paint on the ground. I came up with an eye on the verge of taking a pill.

No, should I say I remember?

"You know very well."

The fish, sure, might look like a stick.

Before it swells.

'Is this medicine just going to increase your life expectancy? Isn't there something else that works?

'Yeah. Not only does it increase your life expectancy, but what you drink of this will be quiet and submissive'

As a matter of course, the elves answer that.

Again, I knew the name of this medicine.

It has no life-extending effect on it on Earth, but it has a name that reminds me of it.

The name of the medicine is Zombie Powder.
