The long lost princess

"sleeping people's lips don't tremble you silly girl, i am getting impatient now and you wouldn't want me to use other ways to wake you up" with this Sara opened her eyes a little, she slowly sat on the bed, not daring to raise her eyes to him, his presence in the room strong and malicious, every nerve in her body sensed the danger in the air, remembering the pain she went through during the last month and the possibility to go through more her body stiffed like a rock, not knowing what else to do but to obey every order of his without any trace of resistance, maybe it would keep her away from harm, temporarily at least...

Eren's eyes scanned the girl in front of him, she changed, he noticed, she was nothing like the girl he saw through the demonic gate, the indifferent one, nor like the one he stayed with and escorted to the ball, the stupid girl in love and flames, the girl infront of him now, was nothing but some leftovers from the previous one, she didn't just lose weight but also the fire and light in her eyes faded away and now they looked like empty dry lakes, all of her was dry, life slipped out of her leaving a dead rose behind...

Her hands were still shaking, he noticed the second she woke up, but thanks to his dark magic he was able to conceal his presence from her eyes and senses, she was. careful, scanned the room quickly with her eyes without even moving an inch, playing dead when she heard footsteps coming toward the room, as much as he was pleased with her unhuman ability to hear even the smallest sounds which meant her divine blood was awakening, he was worried about her low acting skills as she kept trembling and shaking, not wanting to share the fact that she woke up with anyone especially not with Maika, he used his dark magic to oppress her body into a full state of numbness, not letting it show any signs of consciousness, the trick worked on Geraldine and her father but he doubted it did on Maika

"Look at me, Sara" he ordered her abruptly, she slowly raised her head to look at him, fear evident in her rainy eyes, he felt like she would break if he made any sudden move, she was too damaged, too damaged to be of any use to his plans, he didn't want this, he thought angrily, he didn't want it to get to this point where she is nearly impossible to fix...he needed another approach...

Sara stared at him unblinkingly for few seconds, he stared back, it looked nothing less than a lamb waiting to be devoured by a wolf, he thought to himself...

"Do you know why are you here Sara? " he asked, his voice void of any emotions

"No" she answered hesitatingly with a barely heard whisper...

"You are here because of who you are" he answered the unasked question...

Because of who she was? she was a nobody even if the king was her father, is that what they wanted? to blackmail her father using her? that didn't make any sense, but it was still the only explanation she could come up with, trying to build up some courage to voice her thoughts, he voiced them up to her

"It has nothing to do with that father of yours, we got what we need directly from him, but it is about your mother.. "

"M... my mother?" did Eren knew all along who her mother was? is he going to give her the truth about herself? him? a slight ray of light passed through her eyes, it was breif but it caught Eren's eye, he was right after all, what he needed was a different approach, he looked at her for a moment before laying back on his chair and saying...
