" before Nicholas could say another word his brother interrupted him sharply...

"I am positive i heard this kind of nonsense before, let me recall when? oh... it is as if i am listening to the high priest all over again , am i right little brother?" an angry frown formed on Nicholas's charming face and before he could answer Henry spoke first...

"I hope you don't let the holy council poison your head little brother, what ever their hidden agenda is, it does us no favor, so i hope you drop it and focus on the campaign to the borders "

"Brother, what you are suggesting is offering our forces to be slaughtered, i agree with the holy council on this, we should draw our forces and people and take shelter close to the gods, not just us but the rest of the human kingdoms, our defenses would be much stronger there... "

"Nicholas, do you really think the holy council is concerned about our safety? they just want to use us as a human shield for the Gods..."

"So what if they did brother? " Nicholas lost his temper, hitting the desk hard with his fist, "after all it is our father's fault that we are in this situation in the first place, him and that bastard daughter of his, even if the holy council intentions are as vicious as you described, it is still our best chance to survive, without the Gods, we cannot win... "

"If the Gods are so mighty then why do they need us to shield them huh? " said a furious Henry, rising up from his chair to stare at his brother right in the eye, separated by nothing but the desk, they glared daggers at each other, both at the edge of breaking down..

"Henry, Nicholas, mom... she is no where to be found.... " came the frightened desperate cry of Nara who opened the door of the study abdructly...
