The long lost princess

Eren existed Sara knew that, what she doubted was that look in his eyes, the one that told her he wanted to see her again, maybe that was a dream...

It was another autumn day, rain was expected at any moment and it was unwise to leave the shack, yet Sara felt like she was gonna explode inside... especially that her father didn't visit all the week..

She walked in the forest toward the river, thinking about everything and anything, she felt like she was living for living, with no identity, no purpose, her life was meaningless, so when Eren showed up last time.. he gave her something to look up to, and his absence left her in a deep depression...

Sara reached the river at last, disappointe to find no one there, she sighed bitterly, who was she fooling? it was her destiny to remain alone, ever since she was a child, no one wanted to approach her...

with her legs soaked in the water, Sara set by the river side and stared quietly at the sky, it reflection gave her eyes a beautiful yet sad shade of blue..and the clear sky weirdly looked sad..

Lost in her thoughts... Sara did not pay attention to the careful footsteps that came near her... the charming lakes of honey stared at her with a bright smile, seeing that beauty in such calmness and union with nature around her was a unique view...

After a while of staring, a gentle manly voice said " i see you are following my advice of being careful my lady"...

Sara was astonished, hearing Eren's voice made her heart skip a beat, how did his voice manage to get out of her head and be heard out loud, she slowly turned her head to meet those gorgeous eyes staring at her..

"Eren.. " Sara said with a low surprised voice, it sounded more of a cry, Eren, with his bright smile and hypnotizing gaze walked toward her and bowed on one knee, his face was dangerously close to hers that it was possible to hear her heart beats, he said with a loving voice... " Sara... "

Just like the last time in his arms, she felt as if time stopped, she just stared right back to his eyes which where staring at hers, incapable of saying anything, the two just remained silent...

"I'm so happy to see you again.." Eren finally said, " I came here everyday since last time i saw you yet there was no sign of you, i was afraid i will not see you again"

"You... only came to see me? "

"Only she says.. it was really the main reason i woke in the morning"

Sara spotted honesty in his eyes.. so she added in a low voice," but i came here two times and never found you"

" Ah ye... i mean no, i came for water and fish"

Eren laughed at Sara's red embarrassed face, " Gods preach the water and fish then, thanks to them here we are together again "

Sara couldn't help but to smile, Eren than sat by her side, asking her how she was doing... little by little their conversation deepened..

He told her his name was Eren Salvatore, 18 years old, the Duke of Benivast's youngest son, he grew up in an aristocratic family, his father was in the king's council and his mother was a close friend to the current queen Katherina, he even personally knew the crowned prince Henry and the twin Nicholas and Nora.. as the youngest son, he was not to inherit his father's position ,it was fine by him honestly, he always wanted to make his own place in the world...

Sara trampled, after all what was there to tell? that she is the king's illegitimate daughter who have been locked away in the holly council tower for 15 years, and brought to the edge of the world to live alone? or maybe that she doesn't know anyone, not even her own mother and he is the only human beside her father who actually talked to her?

Sara's expressions became sad when she whispered "There isn't much to know about me... ", Eren who sensed the sadness in her voice did not want to push her harder so he directly changed the subject...

"May i? " Eren asked, when Sara gave no answer he put the necklace around her neck, it looked better on her porcelain skin while the pearl settled between her clavicles, Eren smiled at her and said " I thought it would look beautiful on you but it is you who made it look beautiful "

' he is gonna make my heart stop' Sara thought, yet the happiness quickly left..

"I... i can't accept it Eren"

"why?! you don't like it? i can get you another "

" Oh no not that, it is so beautiful plus i know black pearls are the rarest in the world, what can be better? "

"why can't you take it than? "

"I... i have nothing to give back to you... " Sara said in a broken sad tone...

"You don't need to give me anything "

"And neither do you, if i am to remember you with the necklace, what are you gonna remember me with"

"I have a thought about that, would you please close your eyes"

Sara stared at Eren for few seconds before closing her eyes, it was then when she felt his warm lips on her closed eyelids, her body instantly shivered, even when she felt him pulling away from her, she wasn't able to open her eyes...
