The Elemental Tower

Lin Ke quickly went to Dra and Avina's room. Lucy was seen praying while leaning against the wall, and he wondered which God she was praying to.

Upon seeing Lin Ke, Dra and Avina, who were having a private conversation, immediately sat up straight. They looked at him, awaiting orders.

"You don't have to do that, just act like how you normally would." Lin Ke waved his hand when he saw that they were being rather nervous. He figured that, since he came here in a hurry, they probably thought that had something happened.

He sat by the bed, then asked Dra, "Have you drunk the potion? The one that increases your Strength by 20."

On his first day here, he bought a Level 1 Strength Potion that cost him 1,000 Silver.

"Mm, I drank it." Dra nodded. She consumed the potion during the battle at the Werewolf den. "Its effect is decent, but it didn't give me a huge upgrade."

The upgrade was not significant, but she did experience an upgrade.

Lin Ke nodded as he understood.

Earlier, he took a look at the Refinery Hall that was built, and found that it was separated into two categories, which were Enchantment Runes and potions.

An Enchantment Rune was a rune enchanted on an Equipment permanently. It was extremely expensive. A Level 1 Strength Rune that increased Strength by 10 points cost 5,000 Silver.

On the other hand, the potions that were sold were Level 1 Attribute Potions.

Lin Ke previously spent 1,000 Silver on a bottle in the Market, but he could now buy any kind of potion without a limit, at the cost of 2,000 Silver each.

Each potion lasted an hour, which would be very helpful if one were to consume during a battle.

After getting Dra's confirmation, Lin Ke was ready to purchase some potions for storage, so that his female Heroes could drink them if they were attacked by an enemy.

However, he did not have a lot of Silver left as he built too many facilities. Since he could not buy any potions yet, he planned to purchase 2 the next day after he received the money.

Afterward, Lin Ke began asking Dra and Avina about how they were affected after leveling up.

"My Upgrades increased after I leveled up."

Dra seemed to have been waiting for the question. She replied immediately after Lin Ke raised it, "For me, my Strength upgraded a bit more than my equipment set did."

Lin Ke was elated. 'Not only does her equipment set have Attributes, but the pieces of Equipment also have their own Attributes. They're lesser than Dra's Attributes that upgraded!

'How much in total does Dra's Attributes upgrade when she advances by one level!'

Nevertheless, it made sense that Dra's growth was fearsome as she was a female Hero with a Disaster Rating. On the contrary, Lucy would not have such a big upgrade margin.

Avina was not much weaker to Dra. Being a Nightmare Rating Hero with 5 Stars, her growth was probably high, and her strength likely increased by a lot due to the upgrades.

"Yes, I probably won't be injured if I had the strength I have now, yesterday." Avina nodded. According to her estimation, her strength increased by a third, which was considered great.

At that moment, Lin Ke really hoped that the Werewolves would attack them later. He would have enough time to further increase Dra and Avina's levels, and they could definitely crush the Werewolves.

With more time, he could also summon more Heroes, and would increase their Levels as well. Everything would be easier that way.

Lin Ke laughed when he thought about that, because it was only possible if everything went smoothly.

Avina did not make further comments. Later, when Lucy walked over from the other side, Lin Ke nodded at her apologetically. Due to the lack of slots, he could only level up the female Heroes who were of higher grades, whereas Lucy had to wait as she was a Blue Grade Hero.

Nonetheless, Lucy was not too bothered. "My Skills are just like that, and leveling up will only increase my Attributes. I can increase their combat power with my Skills, so it's more important to improve my Skills."

Lin Ke began pondering upon hearing Lucy's words.

It was a problem indeed.

Although he did not have a facility that could improve his Heroes' Skills at the moment, he was certain that a facility like that existed after hearing what Lucy said.

'Should I upgrade the Elemental Tower to Level 3 to see if there are new facilities?

'But I already have plans for the Silver I'll be getting tomorrow.' Lin Ke decided to upgrade the Dormitories and the Elemental Ponds by one level each, and would build more of those facilities.

Therefore, he was not going to upgrade the Elemental Tower to Level 3.

While Lin Ke was thinking, Dra suddenly whispered to him, "I heard that you previously asked Lucy to spar with you, so that you'll have some life-saving abilities in the future?"

Lin Ke froze and felt that the others were fixing their gaze on him at that instant.

Yesterday, he asked to spar with Lucy as he wanted to develop muscle reflexes that would help him react well during dangerous moments. Despite that, he could not bear the pain after a few times, thus he stopped, and did not ask Lucy for help anymore.

'Why is Dra bringing this up now?'

Seeing as Lin Ke was looking at her embarrassedly, Dra smiled. "It's not a good idea to train your combat ability with a Priest. You have a top-notch Warrior here, so why did you reject what's within reach, and look for something that's far?"

Dra's beauty was unparalleled, and her sweet smile made her even more attractive. As such, Lin Ke stared at her unknowingly.

"Ahem." By the time Lin Ke realized what he was doing, he kept clearing his throat as he felt unusually embarrassed. That said, he did not feel too bad since the others did not mock him.

"So what are you trying to say?" Lin Ke quickly asked.

"My Lord, experience a Warrior's training with me." Dra patted her chest as she said, "Though I'm not extremely familiar with Human Warriors' training, I'm confident about training a beginner.

"In just a few days, I believe that you'll go through a tremendous change!"

Lin Ke was moved by Dra's assurance.

'Since Avina's leg hasn't fully recovered, it'll be fine if I train with Dra for a few days… Right?'

Lin Ke scratched his head while looking at the smiling Dra, then finally nodded.
