"See if you can fool me, how can you tell the difference between the inside and outside of a wooden house."

"You can't deceive me and fill the cabin with lies."

The two communicated with each other through their thoughts, and both felt that the other was deceiving.

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva does not dislike what Jiang Li and Bai Hongtu did. If Yuan Wuxing took a different approach, then these two people jumped out of the original framework and looked at the problem from a completely different perspective.

Buddhism promotes this way of thinking.

Although Xiangxiang Bodhisattva was deceived by Jiang Li and wanted to curse.

"Do you two want to join my Buddhist sect?"

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva felt that these two monks in the transformation stage had wisdom roots and Buddha nature. If they could enter Buddhism, they could become Bodhisattvas and Arhats.

Both of them changed their appearance and concealed their cultivation. To outsiders, they looked like just two ordinary monks in the transformation stage.

Jiang Li waved his hand: "No need."

Before he became the Human Emperor, Lao Buddha Xumi believed that Jiang Li had profound Buddha nature and invited him to join Buddhism many times, treating him as the next Buddha master.

However, Jiang Li declined politely, which made Old Buddha Xumi feel regretful.

"I want to give it a try." Bai Hongtu was eager to give it a try. He had long been tired of being the leader of the Taoist sect and felt it was time to change his taste and go to Buddhism to show off his talents.

Jiang Li was worried that the Everlasting Immortal would break Bai Hongtu's legs, so he pulled him aside and refused for him.

"This person's heart is not right. I'm afraid it will disturb the purity of Buddhism, so let's forget it."

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva didn't take it seriously. She didn't think Bai Hongtu was so capable of disturbing the purity of Buddhism. However, seeing Jiang Li's firm attitude, she had no choice but to give up.

The first test allowed many people to obtain the "Diamond Sutra", but they did not give up and felt that they might not be able to show themselves in the second level to make the inheritance interested in them.

The fragrant elephant Bodhisattva waved Bodhi leaves, and everyone came to a separate small space again.

They found themselves practicing in the woods, and a harpy was chasing a dove in the sky. The pigeon saw the monk in a desperate situation and flew into his sleeve, hoping to escape the disaster.

"Now let's start the second test, to protect the pigeons from being eaten by the harpy."

Some monks saw the hawk demon's low cultivation and smiled disdainfully.

"How dare the hawk demon in the foundation-building stage be so arrogant?"

After saying that, he will kill the harpy and protect the dove.

A copy of the Huayan Sutra appeared in his hand and saved the hawk demon.

Seeing the monk's confusion, Xiangxiang Bodhisattva came forward to explain: "Killing a life to save another life is inconsistent with Buddhist philosophy."

The hawks and doves are both creatures raised by Buddhism and are not false existences.

Yuan Wuxing protected the pigeon, but he also knew not to harm the hawk demon.

"God has a good life. Why can't he let this dove go?"

The hawk demon asked back: "If I release this dove, then this dove will live, but I will starve to death. Does God only like doves and not me?"

Yuan Wuxing gritted his teeth and said: "I am willing to exchange the same weight of meat for the pigeon's life."

"That's fine." The hawk demon took out a scale and placed the pigeon on the other side of the scale, indicating that Yuan Wuxing could cut the meat.

Yuan Wuxing took out his knife and slowly cut the meat.

For some unknown reason, Yuan Wuxing, who was in the stage of transforming into a god, could not cut off the pain. He endured the pain of being cut for life and cut off the same amount of flesh to the hawk demon.

And he couldn't heal the wound.

The balance still tilted towards the pigeon, and the hawk demon said expressionlessly: "You cut off less meat."

Yuan Wuxing had no choice but to continue to endure the pain of cutting the flesh. He kept cutting the flesh, but found that the balance always tipped towards the pigeon.

Yuan Wuxing understood that Buddhism emphasizes the equality of all living beings, and exchanging part of his flesh for the life of a pigeon is obviously a sign of inequality. Only by sacrificing his own life can the balance be leveled.

Yuan Wuxing apologized: "I can't exchange my life for the pigeon's life and give up this test."

But Yuan Wuxing waited for a long time and did not see the secret realm giving him a consolation prize.

The hawk demon explained with a smile: "Although you did not sacrifice your life, it is rare for you to understand the mystery."

The hawk demon brought Yuan Wuxing back to the secret realm of living beings, and Yuan Wuxing's wounds healed quickly.

"How dare you compete with me for food!" Bai Hongtu kicked the hawk demon away. The hawk demon suddenly felt like the world was spinning and his mind was not clear.

After the harpy maintained its balance, it still felt dizzy, but it could not allow it to return to normal and immediately rushed towards Bai Hongtu.

"What are you doing!" The hawk demon looked at Bai Hongtu in horror. This man actually set up a fire and started roasting pigeons. Does he still have humanity?

"Of course I eat pigeons. If I don't eat pigeons, will I eat you?" Bai Hongtu said matter-of-factly.

The hawk demon cannot understand Bai Hongtu's logic. Doesn't this man not want to pass the test?

The pigeon and the harpy are both raised by Buddhism. The harpy and the pigeon are good brothers, and the hawk cannot just watch their good brothers being eaten.

"Then you eat me!" The hawk demon said fiercely.

Bai Hongtu thought for a while: "Okay, but I won't eat them all. I will eat as much meat as you have from the pigeons."

The hawk demon took out a scale and took the initiative to cut the flesh, grinning in pain.

Bai Hongtu said expressionlessly: "It's not enough, the balance still tips in favor of the pigeon."

The hawk demon endured the pain and repeatedly cut the flesh, while Bai Hongtu continued to remind him that "it's not enough."

In the end, the harpy had no choice but to jump onto the scales, which allowed the scales to balance.

Seeing that the hawk demon looked as if he was dead, Bai Hongtu smiled and comforted him: "How can I really eat you? It's rare for you to realize that all living beings are equal. Let's go."

The hawk demon thanked Bai Hongtu, but halfway through, he suddenly felt that the positions between it and Bai Hongtu were reversed?

"Why do you want to eat pigeons? Can't you just eat them?" Jiang Li asked the hawk demon curiously.

The hawk demon was impatient with Jiang Li's question, so he simply took out the scale and said, "If I don't eat it, I will eat you. You choose one."

Jiang Li thought for a while and continued: "If you eat me, can you guarantee that you won't eat pigeons?"

"Of course I can guarantee that."

"Why do you guarantee this? You harpy monster is very murderous and insists on eating meat. I don't believe you."

"I can guarantee that."

"I do not believe."

"I swear."

"I don't believe it even if I swear."

The hawk demon was helpless: "Then what do you think we should do?"

"In this way, if you write a pledge saying that you will never eat pigeons again, I will believe you."

Jiang Li took out a pen and paper, wrote a letter of guarantee and asked the hawk demon to press his paws.

The hawk demon didn't want to deal with Jiang Li's piece of brown sugar anymore, so he thought about pressing his paws quickly to end the test.

"I've finished pressing, can I eat you now?"

Jiang Li put away the guarantee letter: "Of course not, I still want to live."

"Then I'll eat the pigeon!" the harpy threatened, wondering if this guy still wanted to pass the test.

Jiang Li showed the pledge: "You have promised not to eat pigeons again."

The harpy glared: "Then the condition is that I eat you!"

"This premise is not written in the guarantee letter."

Only then did the harpy realize that he had been deceived.

Xiangxiang Bodhisattva clasped his hands together and said happily: "Fortunately, these two people were not allowed to enter my Buddhist door."
