The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

37 New stores and new sign products nearing completion (4/4 pt.)

Then a few more days later, on the evening, three more people, Roland, Fidel and Luna, were assembling in the kitchen of the coffee shop 'Turtle', which was closed for the day.

Three people lined up in front of the oven stove where part of the top plate was removed.

In it, the firewood is flaming as it makes the occasional patchy sound play.

Fidel gently placed the copper plate she had just received this morning on top of it when she handed her two sticks with caution not to burn.

The new copper plate that Gustav asked me to make has a large round indentation to make it about the size of his palm.

What is very different from the other day is the form of indentation.

The new plate has a shallow cylindrical shape with a flat bottom, unlike the hemispherical shape made by mimicking the one for “Takoyaki”.

When I asked him for it, he spilled his stupidity, "Stick to the challenge again..." but it was a craftsmanship, delivered by Gustav, and it was a truly brilliant job as ordered.

When the flame rising from the firewood warmed the copper plate, the white smoke eventually rose slightly due to the coated corsa (vegetable species) oil on the surface.

Fidel nodding cocklessly as she meditated her eyes and held her hand over the copper plate.

"Yeah, that's about it."

"Looking forward to seeing if it works!

"The fabric is a knack. Bake it properly. Yikes!

Take the words of Luna and Roland and snort again Fidel.

Then, the special milky white fabric received from Roland was raddled and gently poured onto the copper plate.

A sufficiently heated copper plate warms the dough's moisture all at once and plays a sounding that sounds much more delicious to Jewer.

The rising hot air contained an indescribably good aroma of sweetness and fragrance.

Luna smiles softly.

"Wow, this smell just makes me hungry"

"It's my special fabric."

Roland shows off his proud face while rubbing under his nose.

Today's "specialty fabrics" were based on “pancake” fabrics, just like the prototype the other day.

These days, pancake dough is often made from arrow (comedy) flour and maize (corn) flour, but today's dough is also paired with soja (soy) flour.

There, it was tailored to a special dough by adding melted eggs and milk, colza oil, miele (honey), sugar, and salt to the extent of concealed flavor to mix thoroughly together.

The dough, which was made with less eggs than usual and more milk for that matter, had a smoother than usual finish.

Fidel stares at the oven stove with a serious look.

While taking care not to burn the fabric, it is not too weak to pass the fire.

From time to time, firewood was peeled and positioned, and fires and subtractions were carefully adjusted.

Eventually, the fabric placed in the indentation begins to solidify gradually.

That's when Luna, who was next door, called out to Fidel.

"Yes, now rinse over here"

"Thank you, Luna. Okay, well, is it going to work?

What Fidel received was a conical bag packed inside something.

The bag, made of a cotton cloth stuffed with eyes, is conically inflated with plenty of stuffed contents.

Receiving the bag, Fidel squeezed out the contents as she held the top of the bag tightly with her right hand, gently adding her left hand to the tip with the metal mouthpiece on it, aiming at the center of the plate indentation.

Coming out of the mouthpiece is a light yellow smooth cream - custard.

Custard cream prepared at the request of Fidel is added to the basic ingredients: eggs, milk, arrow flour and sugar, with Ron (rum) aged as a hidden flavour.

Flavored with a hint of bitterness by Ron, the custard cream had a deeper texture than usual.

Fidel with plenty of custard cream in each indentation.

And when I finish putting in up to half of the whole thing, I receive another squeeze bag from Luna and squeeze its contents into the other half.

The second squeeze bag came out in a dark brown colour - chocolate cream, melted in instead of eggs.

Having finished creaming all the indentations, Fidel sprinkles the dough again on top of the cream, each made into a pile.

The plenty of dough wrapped around the cream and overflowed around the indentation.

Fidel takes a deep breath and looks up.

Before that, there was Roland with his mouth tied to a single letter, and Luna staring worryingly.

After a slight silence, Roland stares at the copper plate and quietly opens his mouth.

"Well, that sounds about time..."

"It will work..."

"Well, I'll have to try... good and little!

Fidel cuts the dough around the indentation squarely with a tree skewer in her right hand with a hanging voice.

Lift the skewer gently against the dough in the indentation with a stream cut out of one portion, making it slightly scratchy.

Slightly lifting the skewer with his left hand as it was, the fabric, sporadically removed from the indentation, twisted and flipped.

What showed up there was a stuffed and roasted dough.

Slightly dark-eyed fox-colored surfaces like when pancakes are baked well inflate expectations

Fidel took a sigh of relief as she pushed the dough protruding around into the indentation at the tip of the skewer.

Roland, who was watching how it went, finally lifts his mouth angle to.

"Pretty good at it, huh? It's going to work in this way, too."

"As long as the dough is cooked properly, you're going to make it easier than I thought. Well, that's also because I have your arm..."

"Well, with this exquisitely formulated fabric, it means I can be as clumsy as you."

"Nah. Don't move your mouth all the time, if you don't move your hands, you'll burn."

"Wow!

Fidel, distracted by his maneuver with Roland, rushes back to the task of returning him.

Though hatred is the only thing that beats me, that look looks really fun.

If you notice, Roland is nagging with a tree skewer in his hand.

Apparently, my blood as a cook has begun to make a scene.

When she realized it, Luna smiled softly and spoke to Fidel.

"Mr. Fidel, let your brother Roland do it, too. And I want to try it, too."

"Oops. It's pretty fun, so do it. Well, it's Luna's favor, and Roland can't help it, so let me do it."

"Holy shit! Remember that."

Three energetic voices, soothing and working, were focused on the kitchen.

―――――

So much gone, something like a round, flat-shaped cake baked up.

The dull, burnt fox-colored surface stimulates the appetite from appearance.

Fidel takes one of them and breaks it in half.

Then the hot air containing the sweet aroma rose from the custard cream inside, tickling the three nostrils.

Fidel checks to see how the contents are burned, giving one half to Roland and the other to Luna.

The two who received it snorted quietly before carrying it to their mouths.

Two people confirm the flavor with a serious look as the sound of a column clock kachikachi echoes in the kitchen.

Eventually, after eating silently, Roland took a big breath.

"... Ugh, this"

"Something tastes soothing. It's warm and dusty!

"Oh yeah!? Then I too..."

Fidel also confirms the flavor after hearing what the two of them think that makes them feel handy.

The freshly baked skin had a crisp, fragrant finish, and its interior had a precisely fluffy finish reminiscent of pancakes.

The custard cream stuffed inside is also smooth without the fire passing and blurring.

The moist, rich sweetness went hand in hand with the aroma of the dough, creating a wonderful flavour.

"Yeah, custard looks better for now. Then I wonder if I can go this way..."

"Whoa, looks like we should go this way too!

Roland returns in mild condition to Fidel's words.

If you look closely, Roland already had another prototype in his hand and carried it to his mouth.

"Oh, Temeye! You ate first!

"Stray. Well, you're gonna eat anyway, right?

"Sorry, me too..."

Luna with her tongue out.

The prototype, which had already become "half”, was also held in its hands.

"Even Luna -! Well, fine."

Unexpectedly blurred by the two of us, Fidel.

When I immediately took the second prototype, I broke it in half, checked inside, and then crushed it.

The neat flavor of chocolate cream, combined with sweetness and bitterness, spreads throughout the mouth.

Of course, it goes perfectly with the fabric.

Custard and chocolate, both delicious.

The second prototype will be finished in no time, Fidel.

And with a full look of certainty, I nodded twice with Koku, Koku.

"Yeah, this one's good, too. I mean, aren't they both good-looking?

"It does have a chunky feel, and the sweetness seems just right"

"It looks interesting too. It's like a tambour (drum) used by a whistle squad!

To Luna's words, Fidel punches Pong in the hand.

"Oh, that's nice! How about a tambourine roast without a taco?

"Oh, isn't that good taste for you? Tambourine roast, is that okay?

"It would be easy to understand if the shape were a name! Tambourine grill, I think it's good!

Naming directions also came out, and the three of them looked like they were exasperated.

We will share the remaining prototypes, but we will exchange views on whether there is anything further to improve.

There, Takumi glanced at his face.

"Oh, you were still working on it. Is time okay for both Roland and Fidel?

To Takumi's words, two boys turn to the column clock in a hurry.

The clock needle was about to point to nine o'clock.

I realize it was later than I thought, Roland, in a hurry, raises his voice.

"Wow! You've had this time already!

"I'm good, but are you okay?

"Well, I told you it's gonna be late today... just when it gets any slower, your mother's gonna sound so loud"

"So it's time to open up today, and we'll continue tomorrow?

"Well, you are. But what about the rest of it?

"Hmmm......, yes! Mr. Takumi, if you like, can you have it here? I'd like to get a taste of it frankly!

Fidel offering two plates while saying so.

On that plate were loads of “prototypes” on both.

Takumi, who sees it, shows her how to think about it.

And after a beat, I took two of each from a pile of prototypes.

"Because of this, you and Nyarch will have it. Still, there's still a lot left, so why don't Mr. Roland take the other half home and ask your family for their opinion?

"I see. You do want to ask a lot of people. Hey, Roland, can I ask you a favor?

"Of course! I like a lot of surprisingly sweet things, and I think you'll be happy"

"But then you can take it all with you. Huh? Why half?

To Luna's question, speaking of which, Fidel and Roland also agree.

Takumi, stared at with six eyes, returned the answer with a gentle smile.

"Why don't you wrap the other half in paper or something and leave it overnight? I think you should try how much flavor changes over time. If the fire was so tight, you'd have about a day."

"You're certainly right, Takumi. So, as I'm leaving half here, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?

"Right. Then let's just finish cleaning up!

"Yes. Then wash your clothes."

That's the decision, but it's quick, or the three of them got to work on cleaning up the kitchen quickly.

Tequila and moving three sideways, Takumi leaves the kitchen behind.

While going up the stairs to one of my own upstairs, I had one thought for the “Tambourg Grill” I had just been given.

(Takoyaki to “Big Bake” was an interesting idea. But this is something I miss when I try)

And in the world, one confection was called by various names by region.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or an inevitability, but something similar to that was born into this world.

It is a familiar treat for Takumi, but what is in this hand is undoubtedly the "original” of the three of them joining forces.

I prayed that the effort would bear fruit, and now it was a secret tack in my heart to get “Amen” stuffed.
