The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

Coffee Break - Bribery Rice in Roland

"Father! Brother! Welcome back!

Early one morning, Roland was waving heavily at a small port where the morning sun illuminated the surface of the water, a small ship returning from the coast. On the ship, three inflexible men, burned in the day, pin their long ears growing from their heads as they missed hearing Roland's voice, waving. It was Roland's daily routine every morning to greet his father and two brothers in the harbor who were out fishing until nearby offshore.

Speaking of the Alvarez family at Portside, he was famous as a family of fishermen that lasted from generation to generation. As a master of netting and vegetarian diving, his father, Diego Alvarez, has been a big man many times before. The two brothers also continue to refine daily by fishing with their father in order to succeed him. Roland was very proud of his father and brothers, who, like every day, brought back a lot of sea delights when they went fishing.

Of course, Roland himself aspired to be a fisherman when he was little. But unlike his two brothers, who are dressed in succesful muscles similar to their father, Roland, who apparently resembles his mother, remained in a luxurious physique for ever. Plus, there's one big problem. Roland was unable to acquire any "swimming”, an important technique for fishermen to protect their lives.

The source of this was about 10 years ago. As always, Roland, who was playing on the beach with his brothers, was suddenly taken by the high waves that pushed him over. Roland, who was not wearing a swim, is naturally drowned and more and more flushed offshore. Fortunately, at this time, he was quickly helped by the hands of his father, who was nearby with the brothers he was with, taking care of fishing gear, and gained nothing. But after this one, Roland, who for some time became even afraid to see the water, would be forbidden by his parents to play on the beach or in the harbor. This led to the tail pulling later, and Loland, who had lost the opportunity to get acquainted with the water, could not learn to “swim”.

Instead, I remember “cooking”. While his brothers were playing on the beach and in the harbor, Roland, who was still distracting his loneliness by helping his mother, gradually woke up to the pleasure of cooking. In the beginning, I was just playing with the powder with the addition of water pinched like clay, but through the help of my mother. Let's see. I acquired cooking skills with a look, and by the time I was 10 years old, I could cook it alone. For the boy Roland, it was above all a pleasure for his family and those around him to say that the food he had made was delicious.

And nowadays - Roland has a training day at the coffee shop Tsubame for a “one-person cook”. However, until I became an adult, it was a condition for working in "swordfish" to help me with my work at home properly as well. Between waking up in the morning and heading to the coffee shop 'swordfish', it was assigned as a ”job” for Roland to help prepare before going fishing and to take care of fishing gear such as netting, and to prepare delicious meals for all members of the family, including my father and brothers, who had returned from vegetarian diving fishing.

Welcoming his father and brothers, Roland was looking at ingredients that might be available for this morning's bribe meal while helping to sort out his watered prey. “The prey to be used in bribery in the morning must be limited to those that have difficulty making small moulds or scratches a commodity” is an arrangement with the father, who is the head of the household. In the sense that Roland was frying today's water, it was not considered a problem to use a camaroon (small shrimp) the size of a thumb featuring a shaped cover jar (mackerel) and a small mehizon (mussel) and a red shell. And the other thing Roland noticed was a splendidly sized fish with tiny silver and white skin with black spots that caught his eye. Roland took confirmation with his father as he pointed to the fish he was looking for.

"Oyaji, can I have this too? Perfect size, but isn't this scratch going to be a product then?

What Roland had in his hands was a large lobalo (Suzuki) over two feet. This lobalo was stopped in the middle of a vegetarian dive, but it was slightly insane at hand and had a big scratch on one of them. My father, Diego, expressed his willingness to understand while deliberately creating a bitter look in the name of preserving the dignity of his parents while impressing the growth of Roland, who found himself aiming at this “excellent property”.

"How dare you find me! Well, the half-body won't be a product anyway. Fine. Instead, do me a favor!

"Of course! I'll make you something like an eyeball popping out, so just wait hungry!

Roland laughs two cuts and then lifts the part close to the tail of Robaro because he can hold it tight. A tight, heavy-duty Lobalo is just a seasonal fish this time of year. I'm sorry if I didn't cook well. Roland hurried to the cauldron when other fish, shellfish, shrimp, etc. were also held aside in crates.

◇ ◇ ◇

"Hey, what are you making today - hey?

"You're really gonna learn how to cook! Also, just let me see the taste!

It is the same harbor-based fishermen's generals and their daughters who come to voice the Roland who entered the cauldron. In the fishermen's houses around here, men go out to sea to fish, and if it is common for women to defend their houses on land, I am the one, and the cauldron was inherently the domain of the women. But for Roland, who had been taken into and out of the cauldron by his mother since he was a little girl and helped him cook, this place was his starting point, and he embraced it as a natural thing around him.

(Most importantly, this was also a big point for Roland to be a boy with brilliant eyebrows. Sometimes these days, he has been stared at with a feverish gaze as an "idol of a cauldron" by some generals and daughters of his proper age, but Roland still hadn't had the slightest chance to perceive it sensitively.

"Well, just look at it! I'll give you another recipe if you're interested!

Roland, arraying the corner of the cauldron, responded with a smile to the women and quickly got to the cooking stage. First, Mehigeon and Camaron wash with clean sea water, put each in a separate monkey and drain. The slightly smaller size cover jar gently surfaces with the back of the knife and removes the remaining candle, then drops the head, puts the knife in the belly, removes the gut, and then wholesales it into three pieces. Of course, I didn't forget to snap my abdominal bones.

Next, we're going to go under the biggest deal of the day, Robaro. Beginning with the back of the knife, cover every corner and peel off the scales. Then rinse gently with water, then open the ela lid, place the knife in the root area and then place the knife in the belly. Care should be taken not to crush your guts at this time. If I pull every Ella after these things, I can get my guts out clean. Finally, the skin in his abdomen was carefully peeled off, a few slices in his skin eyes and then washed thoroughly again. The speed and beauty of the hand was what attracted the gaze of the women cooking in the same way around them.

This is followed by vegetables. Today I brought a small but crimson ripe tomato and a dark green pellet heel (parsley) with a distinct flavor of cebolia (onion) and aho (garlic). Roland continues to work handily. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and then break them into four pieces, while Sebolia peels them and then slices them along the fibres. Half of Sebolia was chopped slightly thicker and the other half sliced very thinly to leave it exposed to brine. Aho also peeled and minced about two pieces, finely chopping the leaves part of the pellet heel.

(This will prepare the ingredients. Well, next time...

After finishing a look at the ingredients, Roland washes the knives and slabs thoroughly, then sits in front of two lined brick loads, bringing in dried straw and thin woodcuts. Arranging straws and tree cuts while leaving some gaps so that the air was taken in, he took a breath of hum and then started staring at his index finger with a serious eye. This was the “fire" of the Roland stream.

Some of the humans and subhumans living in "this world" were born with "special abilities". That said, its power is only trivial. For example, if it's "a force that can float things from a distance and move them," it's about the extent to which you can finally float the height of whether or not a single finger can get in, and if it's "a force that can block the wound," it's about the extent to which a light abrasion about 10 pesta copper coins can be healed... People living in “this world" called these “special abilities of whispering” "regalo" meaning gifts, and were pleasantly intimate as a little gift from God.

Roland is also one of those with regalo. The regalo that Roland was given is the ability to ignite (pyrokinesis), the ability to ignite where nothing is possible by concentrating on his fingertips. The size of the fire you can wake up is about the size of your fingernails, and every 10 seconds or so, it goes out. Furthermore, it was still a very “whispering ability" to use only once a day for each finger, even though the finger that could start the fire was limited to the index finger of the right hand, which is the dominant hand.

About 10 seconds after Roland concentrated his consciousness at the tip of his index finger, a small fire lit his fingertips. Hurry before that fire goes out and transfer the fire to the straw that you left in your mouth, and the sun will follow and the straw that was dry will burn up easily, and its flame will move into the tree cut. And by anticipating the fit when the fire grew somewhat, and then putting a large amount of firewood in the mouth, I was able to get enough firepower.

Where the flame is large enough, grab a portion of the firewood with a flame and transfer it to the other flame next to it. On the left-hand side of the shallow pan, which I set on fire first, I added firewood and used it as a strong firepower, and placed a large iron dish-shaped pan. On the other right side, Kamadu placed a deep pan after suppressing the heat and feeling, and put plenty of corsa (vegetable seed) oil in it. Now I'm ready to finish multiple dishes simultaneously.

(It should be noted that the way this fire is started, especially the look on your fingertips when you focus seriously, is very well received among some generals and daughters. This is of course something Roland doesn't know much about)

―――――

(Well, we're in the middle of a battle from here...

Roland quickly pours the oil picked from the olive fruit into the large iron dish on the left, which was warmed earlier by strong firepower, and puts in a minced aho. The strong aroma characteristic of Aho drifted on one side of the spectrum, along with the sound of juwer. The women around them also look back at Roland by the smell. Just lightly tinted the aho and put the down-treated lobalo into the plate. Along with a more intense sound than earlier, the hot air rose from the iron plate with momentum. Cook both sides with a gentle shake of pepper and add mehigeons, tomatoes and white vino (wine) where it has been lightly scorched. And immediately, when the lid is covered, the firewood is simmered with a flame, putting out the flame that rises. By setting the fire on fire and weakening the fire, it will continue to steam.

Then put your hands on a pan with colza oil placed on the right side of the kame and check the oil temperature. I felt the heat on my hands when I counted 1, 2 and 3. This is proof that the oil in the pan is at just the right oil temperature. Roland seasons himself with salt pepper, and the spice mixture that Tacumi has divided him into, and puts the body of the covered jar covered with the powder of arrows (comedy) in the oil. The first sharp sound that was played quickly became a calming sound called pokopoko, and then turned into a slightly higher sound. Roland concentrates his long ears on the sound in the pan and identifies how fried the cover jar is. When the dry bursting sound of patsy became the majority, I pull up the cover jar from inside the pan. Coverjah, fragrant fried in tight colors, was arranged on the bat to avoid overlapping after the oil was lightly cut on the pan.

When you're done frying the coverjas, now cook the camaroons. A camaroon that remains shelled and a thickly sliced seboria can be placed in the same bowl. Then, the corn powder and the arrow powder are each put in about the same amount in view and mixed with a sawdust so that the powder is covered throughout. Along the way, finely chopped pellet heels were also added. When mixed so well, the eggs, salt pepper, and a little water are added to further stir. Then Camaron and Sebolia were connected by a cream-colored coat. Roland scoops up what was thus made with a large eyed spoon, puts it in a warm oil pan, and fries it in the same way as earlier. If you concentrate your entire nerve on your long ears and listen to the sound, and pull it off at the right time here, it's the completion of the camaroon and seboria fried.

When the stirrups were ready, the top of the cooking table was lined with tortilla skins brought from the house. Roland lays a thin slice of Seboria, which has been dehydrated, on top of a tortilla, plus handmade mayonnaise and sweet chili sauce brought from home. And if you wrap the fried coverjas on each of them one at a time, you'll be able to grab them with your hands and finish the fried coverjas tortilla wrapping, one of the staple foods you can easily eat.

Roland then takes the lid of the iron dish that kept steaming over low heat and checks what was going on inside. Firmly steamed, Robaro's body was well through the fire. The mehigeons I put together also have my mouth firmly open, giving me a peek at the orange prickly body. The vino, which was placed before the lid was placed, combined with the flavours that came out of the loaves and tomatoes, making it a superb soup. Roland shrugged a spoonful of soup to check for flavor, then added salt well before snagging a hook on the handle attached to both sides of the iron plate, lifting it with a stick and removing it from the fire.

"It's fantastic to make such a big fish into a whole aquapazza!

A stately general has spoken as she rubbed her stomach, which I'm sure would have been beautiful in the past. Roland answers with a slight blur.

"I happen to have a lobalo that doesn't sell, so I thought it would be extravagant anyway. Oh, the little cut tortillas over here, if you'd like to pinch them for a taste! If you like it, I'll teach you how to make it!

"That's good. Then, as always, I'll take care of it!

An earlier general slaps Dawn on Roland's back. That blow, which weighed heavily, was powerful enough to make Roland relax. Roland managed to hold on to that shock, stay, Obachan! And bump the words. The interaction was so strange that the whole cauldron was engulfed with laughter.

◇ ◇ ◇

The Alvarez family was surrounding the table in the dining space next to the cauldron. When Roland cleverly takes apart the aquapatsas that luxuriously steam up the centrally seated lobalo, he offers them all the way to his father's nose tip, which sits at the front.

"Oh, my God! Come on, take it! Today's is more confident than usual!

Humph, his father Diego, who replied with a snort, received the plate so that it would snap and put it quietly in front of him. And when you keep your mouth open heavily, as a parent, you offer words of gratitude and prayer.

"Let's thank the Dragon God, then. Thank you, Dragon God, for sharing the grace of the sea as food for life even today"

Together with the words of the parents, everyone on the spot joins hands in front of his chest and prays briefly and silently. One moment's silence wrapped the scenery - followed by the usual bustling dining scenery. My father, Diego, first swallows the ale in a luxuriously barrel-shaped jock in an instant, cheeks Aqua Patsaa to scratch it. The plates were quickly emptied and the vessels were stuck out to Roland to silently demand a replacement.

"Damn, you're giving me a hippo to eat, too!

Roland responded to the replacement request with a wicked but smiling face. Diego has never praised Roland's cuisine “in words” before. But even if it's more cooking, it always flattens it without leaving it, and it also tries to eat more than anyone else in the family. This was the clumsy way Diego showed his affection.

It was Roland's smile because his heart was telling.

"This tortilla is a little spicy, but it's delicious. This is it, right? Is that him? That's a big deal."

The mother seems to have really liked the tortilla with mayonnaise, which until recently was an unknown flavor, and reaches out one after the other to continue eating it with a pucker. I'm glad you eat a lot that looks delicious, but as my son Roland, I was curious to see her body shape approaching the cauldron ladies somehow these days.

"Am I this way? I like it. Fragrant, sweet and delicious! Oh, honey, I'm not making it again!

My younger sister is apparently a favorite. My sister, who usually keeps saying business, also shows a special winning attitude all at this time. I'd always be cuter with this attitude... and while Roland thought, the two brothers didn't miss the subtle drop in their eyeballs.

"Damn, you're always sweet for Rayna..."

"Rayna, when you do Roland a favor, it's time for breakfast. I'm sure he'll ask you anything."

"Here! Brothers, what are you doing?

Roland protests by inflating his cheeks. But the two brothers don't move at all, where the wind blows. If my sister Raina laughs first, who can no longer be seen in that way, the whole table will be engulfed with laughter.

Many of the dishes that seemed too many if normal were quickly left. In the meantime, his mother, who looked up into the sky, calls out to Roland.

"Speaking of which, isn't it time?

To his mother's words, Roland took out a pocket watch that he had missed and checked the time. It's an important gift from my father sitting in the front to commemorate his employment with the 'swordfish'. And the time indicated by that clock needle was telling the time Roland had to leave.

"Oh, don't go! Then you're going to run away alone!

Roland pinched and cheeked the tortilla, which had only a few left, and hurried to rinse his hands in the water bucket at hand, carrying his luggage and rushing out in a great panic. We're gonna work hard today. Eh, be careful not to fall. Eh, one hand sticks out and responds to the cheer from my brothers and sisters who can call me from behind. Let's do our best to be alone soon, and Roland was headed to the new coffee shop, the swordfish, today.
