Frustrated with Sophie indifferent, David slumped back onto his chair with Lily's right hand remain on his grasp. Out of habit, Sophie tap softly on the dining table while focusing her thought. As fast as a lightning struck down, Sophie release a tinkly tender chuckles, that caught David attention which he dismiss casually.

But Lily caught the sight of David subtle mesmerize moment. She clenched her jaws, spitting venom in her mind towards Sophie. Ignoring what happen to both David and Lily, Sophie then start talking to David.

"Tell me David, why are you so eager making Lily my assistant?"

"Because….."

"Because I wanted to learn how to lead big organization like yours."

Hearing Lily response, Sophie release a quiet yet arrogant triumph as she smirked. Lily was infuriating as she caught a glimpse of it. Before she can question her, Sophie respond.

"David, let me make it clear. I don't hire stupid people."

"Who you call stupid?" Lily roar as soon she heard Sophie remark.

Hearing Sophie retort, Lily started her crocodile tears, gaining sympathy from David, which gladly to help but was giving to chance to shine.
