Tensei Shoujo no Rirekisho

Returning Lords' Adopted Daughter Edition (2) Current Status of Ruby Voln

After dropping off Master Cain, I went back to the room where Mr. Bash and the others were.

While I was sparing my farewell to Master Cain, my newcomers, Brother Shu and Mr. Azur, were just finishing their introduction to Mr. Bash.

I'm only worried that Brother Shu hasn't done anything rude while I'm gone.

When I took my seat again, I decided to ask Mr Bash quickly about the current state of the territory.

"The field is badly damaged. I think I can manage to use the fields, but this year's harvest will drop guzzly. And whatever it is, it's on the south side."

That's what I said, Mr. Bash, who dropped his voice. Either that or the Ruby Forn mansion is positioned north of the territory.

And the area we haven't felt the demon damage we've been walking to before we got here is on the north side bordering Rainforest territory.

"On the south side, they say there are places where the junction has broken and demons have emerged. Just around Seki and Ryuki were about to go around to open the field to the fields, so they are dealing with the demons and restoring the junction, but once the demons report comes up, their report doesn't come. Maybe I just can't afford to be chased by measures..."

Master Bash talks about the second half with a spicy face.

As far as Mr Bash's story is concerned, it appears that the southern side had not yet been able to carry out the opening work. And when a demon emerges on its southern side, it is likely that the river flooded and the junction broke without being able to let the river's water escape to fields and such.

"Mr. Bash, by the way. Do you have any idea how far the plot to open the fields could have gone?

To my sudden question, Mr. Bash, bewildered, spread the map.

"Uh... I was asking you to go around in a stream from the west side of the mansion to the north, east and south first. The last time I heard from Seki and the others was around here, I think it's been opened up so far."

With that said, Mr. Bash grabbed his finger around the mountains to the south, looking at the map clockwise from the western side of Ruby Forn.

To the west of Ruby Forn, there is a forest of demons. And to the north, facing Rainforest and Yamato territory, it is flat only around the area where there is a path to use in dealing with Rainforest, more than half of which is mountainous, and its mountains surround Ruby Forn by the shape of Co. On the map, Ruby Forn was originally also a land facing the sea, but because of the mountains it was a territory that could not go out into the sea. In the same vein, the upper right corner of Rubyforn borders Yamato territory, which requires the village of Galigari, where I and Mr. Tagosak come from, but there is not much national traffic because of the rugged mountainous areas.

Confirm where Mr. Bash picked me up and where there might be a connection. The junction is basically stretched over mountains and demonic forests. That's where they seal the demons.

Mr. Bash told me that the field opening was over until about half of the mountains facing Gwennasis territory.

Rubyforn is an area surrounded by mountains compared to other territories, but if we assume that there are no borderline dust in the area that has been opened to the fields, the most likely part of the mountain that faces Ghennassis territory that has not yet been opened to the fields will be the part of the south where the borderline is broken and demons are emerging.

In fact, reports are up that demons have emerged from the Seki people in areas on the south side that have not yet opened their fields.

That and the demon forest on the west side are also of concern. The Devil's Forest on the western side certainly uses as a junction the long rivers flowing from the high mountains in Ghennasis territory. As far as Mr. Bash's map is concerned, he's starting to open just west of Ruby Forn Mansion, so only the top half is paddling. What is going on in the lower half of the Devil's Forest? Or because it's the same single river junction, having fields that serve as dams in the middle stream could be dampening the flood.

But...

"By the way, the only thing we can conclude so far that the junction is broken is around the mountains, which are also the borders of this Gwennasis territory, right?

"Oh so far..."

"How many decaying spiritual users have you called in from Wang Du for the sake of brewing? And what are you doing now?

"Nine people were calling in. I'm worried about other areas outside the south, so I'm asking the corrupt spiritual users I hired to patrol the territory and repair the junction."

That's right, Mr. Bash! You've already been dispatched! Besides, I'm comfortable with the fact that there are nine of us.

When we found out the fact that something called the collapse of the junction was occurring across the country, there was one big reason why everyone thought Ruby Voln couldn't help.

Because it is a territory with extremely few wizards. Only a wizard can repair a broken junction. Even if the demon ravages and manages to exorcise it, if it fails to repair the original failure, one demon after another comes out and I can't see the end. And even compared to other realms, Ruby Voln was surrounded by mountains and demonic woods that were sealing the demons.

"Dear Rotten Spirit user, there were so many of you. Excellent!"

"If I hadn't started a liquor business, it would have been dangerous. With only about Seki and Ryuki, there was nothing I could do about it."

"By the way, which area are you patrolling for all the Decay Spirit users?

When I ask that question, Mr Bash shows the map with his fingers.

"Two in the Devil's Forest on the west, two on the north and two on the east. I'm putting three people on standby at the mansion. The truth is, I'd also like to send reinforcements to the south side where the Seki and the others are, but Death Spirit users don't have the skill to fight demons. I was lost that it would be too dangerous to let the demons head to the south side, which I know is out... At the very least, I'm waiting until I hear anything from Seki, but he's not here yet. Moreover, he reassigned the Knight's escort considerably to Death Spirit users who made him head west, east and north, respectively. I can't even afford to break an extra knight anymore."

I see. I felt the number of servants in the mansion was low because there were no knighthood people......

But the fact that rotten spiritual users don't have the skill to fight demons is a little different from what I imagined. At least Charles was good enough to stab a handsome demon stop......

No, now let's put that away for once. I have a few more things to discuss.

"This time, the breakdown in the junction is likely due to heavy rainfall that increased the river's water and collapsed the river's junction. And even if it's a river that doesn't have the role of a junction, it could push the junction away with flooded momentum."

When I said that, Mr. Bash nodded.

I keep talking.

"As a matter of fact, I, on the road so far, did not see any demons in Rubyforn territory. I saw how the junction works along the way, but it works fine. I think the reason why the junction did not break in this area is because of the work done by Seki and the others to open the fields. Seki and the others had divided the river to draw water to the fields. It seems that the river never increased because the flow was dispersed to reduce the flooding and to some extent to store the amount of water called paddy fields."

"I see. So you checked the open areas of the fields earlier. Then, the connections may be broken by the south side and the demon forest on the southwest side, as reported by the Sequis"

So the door opened with cancer and momentum.

It was Mr. Bash's daughter, Mr. Galatea, who suddenly opened the door. Blue-faced, she opens the door and screams.

"Oh, my God, Father! Your mother's waking up and she's rambling again!!

"Behold! Again! You can tie your hands and feet, so calm down!

"I already tied him up! But I'm trying to get out!

After saying so, a woman with a generous face stood from behind Mr. Galatea.

He is seventy-third splitting his forehead and tying his long hair behind him.

"You! What is that saying!? Why are you trying to lock me up!? I am a wizard! I knew I couldn't sleep at a time like this!

"Gloria!"

That's how Mr. Bash moaned, looking up to heaven.

"Come on, untie this wrist-wrapped rope! I have to go outside! The inhabitants are waiting! If I don't raise a field that's not working, you'll starve to death!

"How many times do I have to tell you, you'll understand! You don't have the strength to use magic anymore! I want you to stay here with me."

Surprised to see my eyes pat, Mr. Bash and his wife began to speak up. Mr. Galatea is also cuddling from behind, holding his wife back.

What the hell is this...

I mean, ma'am, you look pretty good.

"Uh, Master Bash and, ma'am...?

When I cried out in horror, Mrs. Gloria looked at me and made me dot her eyes.

"Oh, no! Are you... sure, Mr. Lew, Mr. Kouki? Plus, lots of customers... embarrassing, I can't believe they're looking at this place..."

That being said, his wife, who looked like a young man, is astonished as she groans.

I didn't know you remembered me. While I was subtly happy with what you remembered, even though I was almost faceless, my wife, who noticed the human eye, blushed.

Mr. Bash sighs loudly with Haa, holding Mr. Gloria's shoulder tenderly.

"Gloria, are you calm? Just sit down."

"Ah, you. I'm sorry. I messed up again. So, but when I think about the people who are having a hard time..."

"I'm fine. I know."

Mr. Bash escorted to the table, holding his wife's shoulder, and let her sit.
