"Have you forgotten what your elder sister told you?" Sister Wen had no choice but to bring Li Shengxia up. "The film, 'Original Sin' is based on a novel and that novel is quite popular in the market now. Although 'Ying Xuan'er' is a villain in the film, she is actually a rather sharp character in the novel. The readers adore her."

Li Yuan'er was hesitant now.

Surely, she had not forgotten what her elder sister had told her before she went overseas.

Her elder sister had asked her to take up that role so as to expand her career as an actress.

Moreover, the movie would surely be a big hit by the time it was released if it was filmed based on the original novel. Even if she took up the role of the second heroine, she would be popular too. Her rate of exposure could be increased.

Sister Wen saw that she was hesitant now. "The producer has called me up several times now. The CEO Fang from Ning Mang Media has even allowed you to name the price as long as you agree to take up the role. It shows how highly they regard you. They think that you're the right candidate for 'Ying Xuan'er's' role."

Li Yuan'er could not help but smile when she heard that.

She needed no reminder from Sister Wen to know that no one could surpass her in the local entertainment circle. She was the most popular female star among those younger than twenty years old.

"If that's the case…" Li Yuan'er bit her lower lip and said unwillingly, "I'll take it. But, I'm going to look over the scripts first before I agree to the shooting."

Sister Wen laughed happily. "We can discuss that later on as long as you agree to do it."

Her phone rang when they had just finished discussing it.

"Why are they calling me now?" Sister Wen answered the call.

Then, her facial expression darkened. "What do you mean that you have found another more suitable candidate to act as 'Ying Xuan'er'?

"Didn't we agree on giving the role to Yuan'er? What's wrong?" Sister Wen got up from the sofa. She put her arms around herself and walked to and fro in the bedroom. Her tone became harsher after getting an answer from the caller. "What do you mean that we have taken too long a time to consider your offer? You should at least allow us some time to consider your offer after you asked Yuan'er to take up the role."

Li Yuan'er inquired about the incident after Sister Wen hung up her phone. "What's wrong?"

"I have a friend who's working at Ning Mang." Sister Wen was hesitant but she told her the truth. "She informed me that Yuan Jiang has found another girl to act as 'Ying Xuan'er'".

Li Yuan'er's brain seemed to have exploded at that second. 

It was totally a different affair if she herself was unwilling to take up that role. But, it had been snatched away from her now.

Moreover, she had just promised to take up the role now!

"Who is it?" Li Yuan'er's fingernails pressed into her own palm deeply. "Who is going to act as 'Ying Xuan'er'?"

Sister Wen sighed inwardly when she realized that Li Yuan'er was deeply annoyed now.

'Original Sin' was the biggest production of Ning Mang Media that year. During the month before the last, the person in charge of Ning Mang Media had come to meet Sister Wen. The director came to meet her and they wished to ask Li Yuan'er to act as 'Ying Xuan'er'. The terms and conditions that they offered were quite fair and good.

Li Yuan'er appeared condescending when she realized that they had only offered her to act as the second heroine. After that, she had read the novel on her own. She soon refused to take up that role after she realized that Ying Xuan'er was a mad killer.

Now, she had finally agreed to take up that role but the filming crew did not hold up the rest of the bargain.

"Who's going to take up that role exactly? Is it Li Xie or Ye Zhenzhen?" Li Yuan'er was not satisfied if she did not get the answer now.

It was humiliating to her.

Who was more popular than her? Neither Li Xie nor Ye Zhenzhen could beat her popularity!

How could they snatch her role away?

"No," Sister Wen replied honestly. "I heard that it's somebody Director Yuan Jiang has picked up during the audition."

"So, are they planning on using a novice actress?"

"I'm afraid so."
