Yu Guowen's facial expression changed when he could not get what he wanted. The girl avoided his touch.

He went to sit down at his seat when he realized that Tang Li was not going to bow down to his desire. "You have been skipping your lessons since the school reopened. The school authority has decided to cancel your scholarship for this semester."

Tang Li's results were exceptional when she had applied for the college even though she was a withdrawn person who rarely socialized with the others.

The scholarship supported her by providing her with two thousand dollars every semester. 

In the Li family, Li Wenyan was never bothered about her affairs. As her stepmother treated her more generously in front of the others, the pocket money she gave Tang Li was even much more than the amount she gave Li Yuan'er. 

However, Tang Li rejected their money the minute Li Yuan'er had started calling her a parasite in their home. 

That was also the reason why Tang Li had tried her best in gaining the scholarship.

Tang Li smiled softly after she realized that Yu Guowen was threatening her. "I can say nothing more if that's what they have decided. If there's nothing else, please excuse me."

Yu Guowen lowered his head and drank his tea. Then, he explained to her slowly, "Do you know why you're allowed to live in the deluxe apartment? It's because your result was rather exceptional when you were accepted by our college. But, I heard that you had an argument with your roommates today. As your attitude is rather unbecoming, the college can no longer provide you with a special treatment from now on." 

Then, Yu Guowen turned to look at Tang Li. "Go and make the necessary preparation now. You need to move to the common apartment this afternoon."

The common apartment was located at the innermost part of the college.

As its infrastructure was rather old, it had long become the residence of the canteen's employees. 

Tang Li remained calm although she had just received that kind of news.

"Fine." She nodded her head and turned to leave. 

Tang Li saw that it was late now so she decided to go straight to the canteen. Suddenly, she saw a familiar tall figure downstairs from the corner of her eyes. 

It was noon. The bright sunlight poured onto the lawn in front of the office.

The man was standing with his hands behind his back. It seemed like he was discussing something with the school's authority next to him.

Song Boyan seemed calm and patient in his casual clothes. He was wearing a thin navy blue knitwear with a pair of light grey pants. He appeared quite presentable in that kind of attire and his charm as a mature man was obvious. 

Tang Li could not help but slow down her pace.

"Have you heard about the incident where Fu Si alongside some outsiders had beaten up a classmate?"

Tang Li heard some people gossiping behind her. The girls were whispering among themselves.

"How could I not know about that? The notice is there on the college's website."

Another girl covered her mouth and whispered, "We heard from the student union that Fu Si was acting recklessly in the principal's office without any sign of regretting what he had done. He claimed that his uncle is the minister of the Financial Department." 

"What? Do you believe in what that gangster said?"

"Why has he come to study here if his uncle is the minister of the Financial Department?"

"Fu Si is considered a handsome man if we ignore his recklessness."

The girls' voices became softer now.

Tang Li looked at the man downstairs. She did not know about Fu Si's existence in her former life. Surely, she was also unaware of the fact that Song Boyan's nephew was studying in the same college as her.

It seemed that the conversation between the man and the school's authority was coming to an end now.

Tang Li walked toward the lift quickly.

There was no one else in front of the lawn when she went downstairs.

Her heart was beating fast.

After she was reborn, she had subconsciously started treating Song Boyan as a special person.

He was still an influential man and a minister no matter what would happen to him in the future. There were a lot of people who yearned to be with him.
