Wu Xuehan turned to look at Tang Li, concerned.

But, Tang Li did not appear anxious like she always did. She neither tried to hide or run away from the scene by quickly searching for a spot. 

She ignored their unfriendly waves of laughter and jokes. Then, she reminded Tang Li, "Don't stand there! The teacher will come soon."

"Oh!' Wu Xuehan recovered her senses and quickly walked into the class. 

Yu Sui came up to them when they had just taken their seats. 

She took out her phone that was of the latest model. Then, she sat in front of Tang Li and turned to look at her. "Tang Li, where did you dye your hair? Which beauty salon was that? Ah Ning said that she wants to try that too. So, which stylist helped you do that?"

Nobody knew that Tang Li's father was an MP. 

Almost everyone thought that she came from a poor family because of how she behaved in college. 

Yu Sui seemed sincere but it was clear that she was messing with Tang Li. 

Tang Li did not seem unsettled at all. She put her books on the table and looked up at Yu Sui. She smiled faintly. "Try guessing."

Yu Sui pouted. "How would I know?"

Then, she looked at Tang Li's clothes. "You really should go and buy some new clothes. You've been wearing that shirt since the college opened last year. Its color has faded now. Moreover, what kind of phone are you using? You're still using a sliding phone. The shopping center is having a sale recently. Let's go shopping with Ah Ning and I this weekend. What do you think?"

Tang Li replied, "I don't have money. I cannot afford to buy a shirt that will cost me two or three thousand dollars."

"Oh, I see." Yu Sui got up slowly. 

She was going back to her own place but she had nearly fallen down in front of everybody when she passed by Tang Li. 

All of a sudden, everybody burst into laughter. 

Yu Sui was embarrassed. She had never felt that embarrassed in her life.

But, there was nothing on the floor.

Suddenly, she thought of something and turned to look at Tang Li. 

Tang Li was drinking water.

She seemed expressionless.

Yu Sui confirmed her doubt. She soon became outraged. "Tang Li, did you try to trip me just now?"

Tang Li looked up at her.

Yu Sui had not managed to say anything before Wu Xuehan shouted next to her.

Yu Sui frowned at her. What was wrong now?

Wu Xuehan pointed at her pants. She said to her weakly, "There's a tear at the back of your pants."

Yu Sui quickly touched the back of her pants.

Then, she screamed loudly. 

"We never knew that our arrogant friend here who likes to brag is such a slut!"

"Even if she is, do you dare to ask her out on a date?"

The men's giggles and sarcastic comments came to them from behind. Yu Sui had heard everything and she almost fainted in front of everyone.

Jiang Yining rushed to her and took off her coat to wrap it around Yu Sui's waist.

Yu Sui almost burst into tears. 

"Tang Li!" She lost herself and she just wanted to fight Tang Li to death now!

Jiang Yining grabbed hold of Yu Sui. Then, she turned to look at Tang Li. "Tang Li don't go too far."

Wu Xuehan was nervous.

They were going to stay in the same hostel for three years. She hoped that they would not become sworn enemies.

Tang Li put down her water bottle and stared straight at Jiang Yining. She did not seem at all guilty. "What did I do? Her pants' quality is low. Why don't you take her out to buy a new one at the shopping center? Why are you arguing with me now?" 

Jiang Yining was speechless.

It was true indeed. It was because nobody saw Tang Li tripping Yu Sui just now.

The teacher came into the classroom at that moment.

Yu Sui almost burst into tears when she saw the teacher, Yu Guowen. He was the associate dean of the art college and he was also Yu Sui's uncle.
