Starsign Lord

86 Clones and Levels - Chapter 86

<strong>Can you people find a way to bypass the gate, like you people find another way to enter the fake city?"  </strong>

Alben shook his head and smiled.

<strong>"There is no way to enter the city other than the door. We formed armies of dwellers, the best of our diggers, but it was no use. There is no way to enter the perimeter of the city. It is blocked by some sort of magical material that even we do not know. "  </strong>

Fraus takes a deep breath as he hears the words of Alben. It was funny to hear that if the dweller race could not find a way to dig their way to the city, he needed to be more specialized in these kinds of matters.

Fraus can usually summon Gemini clones without being in the same room as them, but there is a limit.Right now, his real body on the outside has no way to summon Gemini clones directly to his location.

<strong>"I don't know the exact limit, but it should be around ten to fifteen kilometers."  </strong>

This means that, since Fraus is not able to summon a clone back in the Bluebird City,

if he had no limit in that kind of matter, his power would be increasing a lot, not to mention just combat power increase, the increase in the matter of utility and many other things, such as money making, would be increasing too much in his favor. "

<strong>"I would be a nature-defying organism if something like that was possible."  </strong>

-

The Dweller Race, fifteen years earlier, found a stone called the Portal Stone. The name of it comes from the simple ability of the stone that they found in the Hell Depths.

Hell Depths is the name that the Dweller Race gives when they reach a new depth that they have never reached, more than twenty thousand meters underground. It is no joke to call that kind of underground place hell.

As a result, reaching the core is extremely difficult; no race knows anything like that.

The discovery of the Portal Stone was simple; after interacting with ordinary water, the portal stone opens a portal gleaming with blue energy.

After extensive research about the stone and political matters of the Dweller Race, they have chosen a champion to be sent from the portal. The name of the champion was Aderna Klimnor.

He was a torch-level dweller, with a focus on survival, tracking, and information collection.

There are many reasons why the Dweller race has not sent any people from their race beyond the portal.

They were scared of what could happen to them or to their whole world. Everybody, every existing life form with enough intelligence to live in the starsign world, knows that there are some sorts of things best left untouched.

Because of fear of mystery and fear of bad things, the Dweller Race researched the portal stone for 15 years before deciding it was safe to send somebody. In this regard, they were better than humans.

Considering that the lifespan of the Dweller Race is 200 to 250 years, there is nothing to be scared of waiting for them.

At the same time, they were more timid creatures by nature. If a human organization or country got the stone,

they'd only be looking for a week before succumbing to their desire for new experiences and venturing into the unknown.

Fraus can understand that the Ancel Clan do have some sort of protection for their city and the underground inheritance that they have amassed many times.

It is a simple thing to see from an observer's point of view.

This is important in that Fraus himself believes that only a worthy one can accept the inheritance of the Ancel Clan. Fraus believes himself to be worthy.

If not, he is not losing anything, as even without any kind of inheritance, as long as time is enough, he will be reaching levels that many people would not even be able to dream of at all. This is something simple, and when looked at from a different kind of perspective,

Fraus only needs constant improvement, and with the aid of Gemini Clones, his improvement will be much greater than other people's, which would in turn make him invisible in the eyes of others. His speed of improvement will shock the people.

Still, it would be nice if I could look around Ancel Clan Underground City.

<strong>"Who knows what kind of star application techniques they have? I only have Dream Sword Art, which is a simple sword art. Other than the application of sword and star energy, there is nothing I can do. "  </strong>

Fraus, with the power of ten Gemini clones for the time being,

also notices something simple. In the past, whenever his points increased by one point or 1.0, he would gain another Gemini clone, but that has changed from now on.

His points right now are at 13.0, or level 3 Starsign User at the Torch-Level, but he is still able to summon only ten Gemini clones. After looking through his soul and mind, he notices a simple thing.

From now on, for each Gemini clone,<strong> he needs 5.0 points. </strong>

<strong>10.0/11 Gemini Clone  </strong>

<strong>20.0/12Gemini Clone</strong>

and so on. At first, this made Fraus feel bad about himself. But then he thought about it in a way that makes sense.

One torch clone is much more valuable than five candle-level starsign clones.

If he were to gain the same number of clones for every one point,

it would make no sense. Increasing one point of power is not the same as when he was at the level of Candle Starsign.

It is a simple but important thing.

When he was at the level of a candle, to increase his one point of strength, he needed all of the existing Gemini clones to work on.

Now, considering that each clone is torch-level and much stronger than candle-level clones, the point system for each Gemini clone generation should give itself some sort of advantage. It needs to build a balance.
