Chapter 128 Mountains full of red sandalwood reflect Buddha's heart

After the introduction here, the old monk Huijing already knew that Si Fan must have confidence, this is a place blessed by the Buddha. There must be a reason for it.

So he gradually calmed down and watched Si Fan's introduction. However, the first introduction was not the mountain gate of the temple, but the cable car of the temple.

That's right, there is a cable car here for tourists. Tourists don't have the leisure to climb such a high mountain. What they want to see is a temple. They find the Buddha and worship with a less pious heart. They take pictures by the way, and then will leave.

So the cable car station is the first place you can see. But this is in the back mountain, a cable car station erected on a slope. The cable car on it is no different from the ordinary cable car on the mountain, except that it has a Buddhist painting.

There is nothing to say, the next is the temple gate, the scientific name is Shanmen, also called Sanmen.

As for why it is called the Three Gates, it is said that it means entering our gate, which is the gate of emptiness, the gate of no appearance, the gate of no work, and the way of liberation, so it is called the three gates.

The mountain gate is generally in the style of a veranda, and the mountain gate is an invisible small hall, commonly known as the mountain gate hall. Where there is a temple, there is a god. There are two statues called "Secret King Kong" here. The two King Kongs are wearing armor, holding a Vajra pestle, and the King Kong is glaring, guarding the door of the dojo. It is also said that King Kong on the left opened his mouth and made the sound of "ah", while King Kong on the right closed his lips and called out the sound of "hum".

After entering the first floor hall of the mountain gate, it is the Hall of Heavenly Kings, facing the mountain gate, on the central axis of the temple. Although it is called the Temple of Heavenly Kings, the Heavenly Kings are not the protagonists, and there are usually six of them in the Hall of Heavenly Kings.

Facing the mountain gate is Maitreya Buddha, which can also be called Maitreya Bodhisattva, because he has been ordained, and now he is the title of Bodhisattva, a reserve Buddha. The Maitreya Buddha in the Hall of Heavenly Kings is basically a monk statue, that is, a monk with a big belly bag.

This is not the Maitreya Buddha in the temple, because the one inside is the third Buddha that has been obtained.

The same Maitreya Buddha, but not the same Buddha statue and story.

Maitreya and Wei Tuo are in the middle, and the four heavenly kings stand at the base of the wall. They are respectively that the east supports the growth of the south of the country, and the west broadens the eyes and hears more in the north.

The Eastern Heavenly King Doraza, white, holds a pipa; the Southern King of Zengchang, Green, holds a sword; the Western King of Guangmu, Red, holds a snake or a rope; the Northern King of Duowen, Green, holds a umbrella.

There is a bell and drum tower in the first Taoist courtyard between the Tianwang hall and the Shanmen hall. The drum tower is on the left when entering the gate, and the Guan tower is on the right. A small "legal distribution office" is located in the front yard. The scale is not huge monastery.

There are rules of fasting in Buddhism. Rituals before meals or offering food, depending on the temple and the time, whether it is feasible or not. But the rule of not being allowed to speak loudly is uniform. Another thing is that there must always be a summoning order for meals in the temple. Some monasteries will have special monks knock on the clapper to notify them when they leave the temple, and some monasteries will knock on the fish clapper or cloud board hanging outside the Wuguan Hall. The so-called Yubang is a flying fish carved in wood, and the so-called flying fish is the dragon head and fish body. The fish heads in the jungle of ten directions face the mountain gate, and the fish tails in the descendants temple face the mountain gate

Pass the front yard and enter the middle courtyard, the core building of the middle courtyard is the Daxiong Palace. The so-called Daxiong is to praise Sakyamuni's mighty virtue.

The three Buddhas are enshrined here, in the middle, the Dharmakaya Buddha Vairocana; on the left, the Sakyamuni Buddha Lushana; on the right, the Incarnation Buddha Sakyamuni.

The shape of the entire temple is like this, but if there is any additional difference, it is the special dojo of the third Buddha.

In other temples, they only enshrine in the Daxiong Hall, but here they have their own dojo.

Daleiyin Temple, where Sakyamuni is in the middle, of course Amitabha Buddha is in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, and Maitreya Buddha is of course in his own dojo.

These three Buddhas are truly shocking.

Especially when all the buildings are carved from Indian red sandalwood, and there are almost no gaps, Huijing is really shocked at this time. He carefully looked at the Sakyamuni Buddha in the dojo, and there was only admiration in his heart.

Sakyamuni is not his real name, but a title of respect. It means "Sage of the Sakyamuni".

"Shakya" is the name of his tribe,

It means "ability" and "courage";

"Muni" was the name given to those who achieved monastic practice at that time, such as "wen" and "silence", etc., which are the virtues of saints.

The Chinese translation of "Sakyamuni" is also "Nengren Jimo". It is also generally called "Shizun" or "Buddha".

Sakyamuni is enshrined here. The whole design is completely based on the classics, but it does not absolutely respect the regulations, because the Buddha statues in this temple are actually repeated.

These three Buddha statues are the Three Buddhas.

"Benefactor, may I ask why there are actually two Buddhas of the third age? This is not in compliance with the regulations!" he asked.

Si Fan looked at him with a smile.

"In different time and space, there is not only one Buddha, but there are countless and boundless Buddhas. These three Buddhas are not in the present, but where they should be, so there are two!"

This explanation made Huijing's head shut down. He felt that this was a preposterous statement, but he couldn't refute it.

Because it's true, and it's what they were taught in Buddhism, it's written in scriptures.

Just these explanations made him feel very uncomfortable, he hesitated for a long time, and finally sighed.

"Hey! It's all designed by you anyway, so if I disagree, will you change it?" He said hopefully.

Unfortunately, Si Fan's answer to him was always so cold, he picked up his teacup and took a sip gently.

"Impossible, I'm going to design and build it this way, that's what I mean. If you don't accept it, you bite me!" He started playing hooligans on the spot.

Hui Jing looked at Si Fan dumbfounded: "Donor, you worry too much, everything is up to you, I just hope to have a good temple!"

He still said with a smile.

Si Fan pointed to the temple and said, "How much do you think the construction cost of this temple is?"

He's showing off a bit. The old monk looked at the regulations of the temple, which were very exaggerated, almost top-notch, and looked at the style and quality of the building, gritted his teeth and offered the highest price he could imagine.

"About 1 billion?" He guessed in a low voice. This is enough to build a lot of high-rise buildings, and most of them are land occupation costs. The real construction costs are not that much.

The land here belongs to Si Fan, so it is only the construction cost. This is because it is all wood, and he assumes that Si Fan will give him high-quality wood.

Who knew Si Fan shook his head.

"The construction price here may be calculated in grams! Every gram of construction is equivalent to the price of gold! This is my estimate!" Si Fan said.

Immediately, Hui Jing was shocked, and then Si Fan spoke eloquently.

"The red sandalwood all over the mountain reflects the Buddha's heart, and a temple is built with Indian red sandalwood. What do you think? How much is the construction cost of this temple?"
