Chapter 45: If Anything Happens to Her, I’ll Bury You Next to Her

At that time, Chun Yucheng was on the second floor of the cruise ship. After exiting the cabin, he heard faint sounds of an argument taking place. Thus, he went to take a look at what was going on in the direction of the noise.

He saw that it was Luo Yangyang and Ye Shayan. However, when he was about to say something to stop their argument, he witnessed Ye Shayan push Luo Yangyang into the sea.

He could not believe what he had seen, and he was stunned for a few seconds. After a while, he rushed over to Ye Shayan and then shouted at her.

“Ye Shayan! What did you just do?”

The next second, Chun Yucheng ran downstairs before running back to where he had originally come from. He then pushed open the cabin door.

“Sheng, Luo Yangyang has fallen into the sea!” Chun Yucheng yelled at Feng Sheng who was inside the luxurious cabin. After that, he immediately ran downstairs once again.

Chun Yucheng’s actions were very quick. By the time Feng Sheng had lifted his head up to look at him, the door of the cabin was wide open and he was nowhere to be seen.

There were other people in the cabin and while they were wondering who Luo Yangyang was, Feng Sheng got up abruptly and left.

He did not run and his steps were as wide as usual; he looked like how he normally did. However, if one looked closely, one would notice that there was a hint of anxiousness in his steps.

As Chun Yucheng ran downstairs, he took out his phone and called the captain to ask him to stop the ship immediately.

After Ye Shayan had pushed Luo Yangyang, the former knew she was in deep trouble.

She had only been bluffing, and she did not really want Luo Yangyang to die.

Chun Yucheng’s shouting had brought her back to reality.

She lifted her head to look at Chun Yucheng who was on the second floor and then looked down at the darkness below her. She started to feel scared upon looking at the roaring sea. It was so dark that finding a tiny human in it would be close to impossible.

If Luo Yangyang ended up drowning, she would be guilty in the court of law.

She did not want to go to jail.

Ye Shayan shook her head in horror. Then, she turned around and ran away from the crime scene.

Coincidentally, when Chun Yucheng got to the first floor, he saw Ye Shayan was running away from the staircase. Chun Yucheng grabbed hold of her instantly. “Why are you running? Come here!”

“No! Chun Yucheng, let go of me!” Ye Shayan struggled and twisted around. Nevertheless, in the end, she was brought back to the railing by Chun Yucheng.

“What happened?” Feng Sheng asked as he walked toward the two of them.

“It’s not my fault. She fell down by herself. It’s not my fault!” When Ye Shayan saw Feng Sheng, she began to feel fearful. She explained while screaming frantically.

Feng Sheng gave Ye Shayan a cold glare before ignoring her completely. He shifted his gaze to Chun Yucheng who was looking toward the sea.

“Feng Sheng, listen to me. I didn’t mean it. It really wasn’t my fault that Luo Yangyang fell into the sea.”

Ye Shayan stepped in front of Feng Sheng and grabbed his arm agitatedly.

Jiang Haifeng was still lying in the hospital because of the drugging incident that had happened two months prior.

Feng Sheng was brutal, and she did not want to be crippled by him.

It was all Chun Yucheng’s fault. Why did he have to witness it?

If no one had witnessed it, she could have pretended like nothing had happened since no one knew where Luo Yangyang was anyway. In reality, she did not give a damn about Luo Yangyang’s life.

Feng Sheng shifted his gaze to his arm that was being grabbed by Ye Shayan.

His gaze was emotionless, and it caused Ye Shayan to tremble out of nervousness. She followed his gaze and let go of his arm.

In the midst of her emotional outbreak, she had forgotten that Feng Sheng was a neat freak. He did not like being touched by other people.

“Sheng, I saw Ye Shayan push Luo Yangyang into the sea with my own two eyes. It’s too hard to look for her now since it’s so dark. What should we do?”

The cruise shipped slowed down significantly. Chun Yucheng stopped looking at the rough sea and shifted his gaze to Feng Sheng.

‘Please do not let anything happen to Luo Yangyang.’

Feng Sheng’s face was tense and his eyes were unpredictable. His gaze wandered about in the dark sea.

After looking around but failing to find anything, he shifted his cold gaze to Ye Shayan. “If anything happens to her, I’ll bury you next to her.”
