Serious People, Who is Learning Magic at Marvel?

Vol 9 Chapter 30: Harleen Quetzel

"I'm starting to have fun."

He Shenyan didn't know whether his mentality was right or wrong, but it was all really interesting. Although he knew he shouldn't have fun with a mental patient's conscious space - but it was!

He walked into the office that the little sugar man said, and found the prepared white coat and work card on the table. He took the job card and found that the person on it was not him.

It was a young girl named Harlene Quetzel, beautiful, with black glasses and blonde hair hanging down from her forehead.

He Shenyan stared at the work card, then put on his clothes and hung the work card on his chest.

He walked out of the office and was greeted by a huge marshmallow that filled almost the entire pink hallway. After seeing He Shenyan, it said in the same shrill voice: "Are you the new doctor? Go ahead, the patient in the innermost room is ready. You only have thirty minutes to talk to her. And treat it. Be careful, the last doctor went mad because he ran out of time!"

After saying that, it giggled and left. The mage turned to let it pass through the corridor, smelled the sweet scent on it, and frowned. Suddenly there was an urge to eat this creature in one bite.

He turned his head and saw the creature rampage through the corridor with a smile on his face. He knew it wasn't normal, but for now, he was holding on. Entering the consciousness space of others will have this kind of danger. Fortunately, his soul is very strong, and he may not be assimilated after staying here for thousands of years.

He walked down the long corridor, and the light overhead was not a white sunlamp. It's a laser light ball, and the colorful lights make this place look like a nightclub. The corridor was silent except for the sound of his footsteps.

Soon, he was in the room at the end of the corridor. There was a gingerbread man standing outside the door. He had a long nose, was wearing a police uniform, and held an electric baton in his hand - but strangely, he stepped on a pair of black hats. Also wearing fishnet socks.

"Let's see... um, Dr. Quezel, that's right. Okay, go in, remember, it's only thirty minutes!" It took a closer look at the job card on the teacher's chest, then opened the door , let him in.

The inside of the room was very dark, and the layout was very simple. One table and two chairs were gone. There was a wobbly lamp above the table, emitting a dim yellow light.

The mage walked over, pulled out the chair and sat down. He stared at the darkness opposite, a faint smile on his lips.

A woman poked her head out of the darkness, her face turned pale with make-up, the smoky makeup and deliberately brightly painted lips gave this beautiful face a bit of conflicting glamour.

She looked like a lunatic, with her blond hair loosely scattered. Seeing He Shenyan, she made a face, and then hid back into the darkness.

The mage reached for the lamp overhead, illuminating the position the woman had done. She was wearing a straitjacket, a very common type with her hands tied into the sleeves of a large sleeve, her thighs were worn out from the bottom of the dress, no shoes, and her toes were twisted on the chair.

"Hello." He Shenyan said softly.

The woman didn't answer, and made another face. She didn't look very eager to talk.

"Can you please leave for a while? I want to talk to Harleen Quetzel." The mage took off his breastplate and placed it on the table, still whispering softly.

When the woman spoke, her voice was surprisingly pleasant, very soft and clear: "she's not here, you've come to the wrong place."

"Really? Then where should I go to find her?"

"I don't know, but it's definitely not here!" This sentence seemed to touch one of her switches again, and the woman laughed. He Shenyan stared at her pale face, and those eyes that were clearly smiling but seemed emotionless.

He said, "Why are you here?"

"Because she needs me," the woman replied.

"Who?"

"Harlene Quizel. Didn't you want her?"

"Why does she need you?"

"Well...let me think about it." The woman frowned, and she began to think.

He Shenyan seemed to have really entered the state of a psychiatrist. He looked at the woman patiently and waited for her to speak without saying a word. As the woman thought, the surrounding environment began to change gradually. First the walls, they began to tremble and vibrate in a rush of unease. Then came the light on the ceiling, which snapped and shattered, and the room was plunged into darkness again.

When it lights up, it has changed into another appearance.

He Shenyan was still wearing that white coat, he was standing in this small room, the surrounding scene had changed from a dimly lit interrogation room to a three-bedroom room.

A man sits with his back to him in a dirty green armchair, drinking a beer in his hand. He drank the beer one by one, and the special program of the midnight TV was playing on the TV, but the hot picture did not make him feel some excitement.

The man stood up dissatisfied, he smashed his mouth and dropped the beer bottle in his hand. The loud bang was especially harsh at night, and he walked to the door of the refrigerator in his slippers, wanting to get out another bottle of beer to drink. But it's empty inside.

This discovery made the man's face distorted, he walked into the house, kicked a door open, and there were screams and cries from inside. After a while, he came out dragging the hair of a woman who had been beaten to death.

She struggled in pain, trying to get the man to let her go. But it was nothing more than a harder punch, and the man punched her hard in the face, bleeding the woman's nose. Facing such a scene, he smiled happily on his drunken face. Mouth full of yellow saliva dripping between his teeth~www.novelmt.com~ He excitedly untied his belt and slapped the woman.

The more painful she was, the more excited he was. In the end, only the weak voice of the woman was left, and she was beaten until she lay motionless on the ground like a piece of rotten flesh. The man gasped heavily, fell to the ground, and then fell on top of the woman.

He Shenyan looked at him and looked away, he knew that all this was just an image of the past... but he couldn't help but feel angry about it.

He entered the room.

The quilt was pulled to the ground. A little girl hugged the pillow in her arms and shrank in horror in the dirty corner of the room. There were women's cries and screams from outside, as well as a man's laughter and his scolding women. All this made her even more frightened.

Just then, a pair of pale arms stretched out from behind the wall.

The woman I had seen in the interrogation room came out of the wall, and she gently picked up the girl and sang a lullaby to her. The voice from outside the door could not overshadow her singing. The girl gradually fell asleep. She looked at the mage and said softly, "Why do you think she needs me?"

The mage did not answer, and the screen changed again.
