Chapter III: Story 1 Development Plan

The meeting to ponder the future development of the village was not at the table of the village chief's house, but before that, in the square under sunny weather.

As the main figures of the village gather, there is a single sticky wooden version at its centre.

In the large wooden version, an abbreviated map is drawn with coal.

The village chief's house in the center of the village is written in double circles.

To the south is dotted the house with potpouts, as is the house of Age and Tania to the south.

The forest stretches beyond it, and if you continue down the road, you will reach the village of Tal far ahead.

The east side expands joint farmland, which is currently testing new farming methods. Beyond that, the river flows and along the river there is a blacksmith.

To the west there are a series of mountains where iron ore and clay are mined, and to the north it is a logging ground for trees. This is the joint cemetery, too.

When I say village, every house is away, and houses at the edge of the village don't face each other frequently.

The faces gathered focused on Age as to how they would develop in the future.

Well, what should I start with?

I came up with a lot of things that seemed to Age with a return to memory that would probably be efficient, profitable, even if he didn't know the details.

But tell me to get started, and it's not something that will bear fruit that day.

To do this, we need to be ready, use our efforts to create, and then wait for the results.

I can't predict that clear period in Age's head.

So Age made the following criteria a prerequisite for development:

That's the compound interest effect of development and Age named it.

I don't mind small piles one at a time.

Instead, we will develop one thing after another that will yield results in a short period of time.

Doesn't that make life easier, make room and develop faster?

Major development may bring great benefits if it succeeds, but in the meantime the effort of the village decreases and life is forced.

It's the first time I've lived in poverty that I don't even know tomorrow.

Once the weather is rough and the crops are less fruitful, that's all it takes to suffer from hunger.

Big developments in such a life are tantamount to betting all your wealth on bad minutes of gambling, Agee thinks.

The development now under way will be these three: agricultural land development and agrarian reform, and the switch from bronze tools to iron.

"Now, what else are we going to do as we continue to develop agricultural land?

"I think it would be a good idea for me to be able to make soap on a regular basis and make it a staple for trades"

"It would be nice to have more to exchange."

"I want people to increase the amount of trees to be cut"

In response to Bona's question, Jane's suggestion is particularly relevant.

Only Age and Pietro know how to make soap, and the replacement ratio is very high.

Besides, livestock oil is very low value and cheap if you want to buy it.

Detergents were indispensable not only for hygiene purposes, but also for the production of cloths, which, from the village where they were made, were wanted to be replaced regularly and in large quantities.

Even in the sense of reducing fleas and wrinkles, I was very much in favour of Age.

Instead, it was about as good as teaching me how to make it, but Jane, Mike and Fernando strongly disagreed.

Teaching just to make money means you're too much of a hobbyist.

I want people, it's the woody Filippo.

Sourcing trees all over the village by himself, he said Age's start of blacksmithing increased consumption.

This was quickly resolved by sending the kids to help who have not currently decided where to work.

"I guess Age has a lot of things, huh? It's called a hoof."

"That's what you put on your horse's hoof."

I'm going to tell him how the hoof works.

But Age, who regained his general knowledge of iron products, also well understood that the completion of the hoof iron was quite difficult.

Before the war, when horses were still in use, there were numerous blacksmiths specializing in hooves.

That's how delicate it is to be a seed for rice. Of course, it's definitely far better than not putting anything on. But with semi-subsidible technology, you won't be able to bring out all the horse's performance.

"What else are you thinking?

"Livestock that houses all the livestock I've ever owned in my personal home..."

"What's the point of collecting them in one place?

"Yes. Now my house has a pig and I live in the same room, are you all with me?"

"You're with me."

"I don't keep my house to call people."

"The village chief's house is an exception, isn't it? Collecting cattle and horses in one place, done by specialist humans, reduces the time of each household. It is also easier to collect horse manure, cow manure, etc. and make compost, etc. The fact that we can use the spacing of the house extensively, and the fact that we live together, it's hard for us to get sick."

"Why is it so hard to get sick?

Age will be explaining to everyone, not just Jane.

It is difficult to describe hygiene in detail to humans without the knowledge of micro-organisms and fungi.

I didn't get a lot of understanding.

In the end, Age finally succeeded in persuading by analogizing the most cheaply believable, beings such as God and the Devil.

I wanted to build a livestock house because, above all, I had the desire to live a little hygienic and not get sick.

Besides, if agricultural land development proceeds, there will be more feed, so that we can keep more cattle and horses, which will increase livestock capacity, and the development will proceed, because we expected a good cycle.

We thought that if we reduced the first scale, we could get it back even if we failed.

"Age seems to understand us, but, well, I know what you're thinking. We need to talk about how we're actually going to build a livestock house, where and how we're going to do it."

"The chickens are in each household and I hope you can fence them outside the house"

"Some people don't walk far enough to pick up eggs."

"And then there's the water wheel in our blacksmith, which can also be used for powder grinding, so I think we need to build a water wheel shed. And then you'll need to straw the roof of each house, not straw it."

"What is a tile?

"You're a plate-shaped one made from baked soil. Overlapping prevents rain, and it won't rot, so it won't take long to dry like straw."

"That job just adds to the carpenter's charge! Thomas has been available lately, but he's not going to be able to do that at the same time."

Stand up as Fernando panicked to Age, who finished explaining the tiles.

I couldn't afford the look on my face.

But Age shakes her head and denies it.

"Carpenters do have a lot of work. But now farmers are having a hard time pioneering."

"Age has directors, blacksmiths, and everyone else. It's not just the Lord."

"That's what they say, even with Thomas, I only have four arms. It's natural. You can't do what you can't."

"Well, why don't we move the guy with his hands free during the winter?"

"That's it! Mike, you said something unusual and good."

"Sure. I don't think it's our bluff."

"Hey, that's either complimentary or demeaning!

"Well, hey."

"Yeah."

To Jane and Fernando clouding their words with an ambiguous response, Mike's questioning stuffing begins.

Age watches the sight with a grin on her mouth.

"My suggestion was the best, so praise me a little more normally"

"Oh, Eli Eli"

"Until the village chief!

Age knows.

Mike is desperately hunting wild beasts so he doesn't have to kill his livestock at all.

Not only that, we are close to farmers from all over the village, making sure the transmission is carried out to facilitate the operation.

When something happens, I stand on the table and take criticism and dissatisfaction.

I stand here because we all know them.

Age thought I'd count on it.

If we rely on everyone gathered here, we will be able to accomplish whatever difficulties lie ahead of us.

And to do so, we first decide to observe firmly the camp of the people of the village.

If you observe how Filippo works, there must be something you can do to help him build tools, figure out how he works.

Before I did what I had to do, I wasn't anxious about Age.
