Searching For You

Kytos had a satisfied expression after the subordinate relayed him the news. He heard of the project but were too busy chasing women around to pay any heed to business development happening in his country. He never thought that the project was led by two young, beautiful ladies.

Kytos and his men continued to observe the ladies from their private room. After some time, the men decided to go down to the dance floor and put their games into action. Kytos and his men made their way near Su Na and Yu Sha. They then went to sit near the girls but at an angle in which they could make eye contact with the girls.

Kytos sat down right across from the ladies, leaning back with both his arms on top of the backrest, giving off a cocky attitude while smirking at the ladies. One of the ladies that came with Su Na and Yu Sha noticed Kytos giving them the body language.

She nudged Su Na to look at the guy across the table from them, "Hey, doesn't it seem like he's checking us out?"

Su Na looked across and by accident, locked eyes with Kytos for a split second. He smirked and nodded his head lightly. He then signaled a server to bring drinks to Su Na and the ladies sitting with her.

The server nodded before proceeding over to the bar counter to give an order to the bartender. About five minutes later, the same server brought a few drinks for the ladies.

The server placed the drinks on the table, while relaying the message that the drinks were from the man across. Su Na leaned in closer to Yu Sha and whispered, "The man over there bought us drinks. I locked eyes with him earlier by accident."

The ladies gladly accepted the drinks before Yu Sha looked at the man for a few seconds and leaned closer to whisper in Su Na's ear, "He doesn't make the list. I look better than him in male version."

Su Na chuckled at what came out of Yu Sha's mouth.

Kytos smiled. He knew that the girls liked him, as Su Na smiled after the ladies whispered about him among themselves. He didn't have to do anything but exist, the ladies would always find their way to him.

Su Na's smiles stroked his ego. He knew he'll score tonight.

Half of an hour had gone by, and there were no advance initiatives from the two ladies. They continued to hang out with their friends, even after they got free drinks from Kytos. The group drank several more rounds before Su Na felt the urge to use the ladies' room. She leaned in closer to Yu Sha and whispered, "Let's go to the restroom?"

"Ok." Yu Sha answered as she nodded her head.

The two friends stood up from their seat and walked towards Kytos and his friend. When he saw the ladies make their way towards him, he smiled and chuckled conceitedly, "Hahaha" and ran a hand through his hair.

The two ladies walked right past them without even turning to look at him. The ladies had long forgotten about him and his friends. Kytos and his men were speechless watching the ladies walked by without sparing them a glance. They've never been ignored by any woman they made a move on. All they could do is watch the girls back as the two ladies walked by.

Kytos' face became sour. He pushed his drinks away and stood up to follow the girls to the ladies' room. He had never been ignored by women so when it happened the first time, it made him feel so dejected, unable to accept the truth.

Maybe he wasn't being clear enough with his actions, it seemed he needed be more vocal of his intention. Weren't they smiling and talking about him earlier? How could they have forgotten about him since then? Kytos made his way to the restrooms and waited there.

After some time, Su Na walked out of the ladies' room and was blocked by a toned big arm. She looked at the arms blocking her way, followed the arm to the torso and looked at the face of the man.

When she got a good glance at the face, Su Na rolled her eyes to the side and turned to look behind her for Yu Sha. She was supposed to wait for Yu Sha anyway, so whether she got stuck by him or not, she needed to wait right outside the door.

"Hey pretty lady, I haven't seen you around, are you new here?" Kytos asked even though he already knew the answer, but he wanted to start a conversation. He flaunted his bangs, running his fingers through his hair.

Su Na avoided eye contact. She looked away and mumbled "Mm.."

Kytos thought Su Na was being shy, he pinned her to the wall and leaned in closer. This action took Su Na by surprise. She pushed him on the chest with her arms, but he was too heavy and didn't budge.

Su Na looked at him with a deep cold gaze, "Sir, I think you better let me go if you don't want to get hurt."

"Hmph..." Kytos huffed. "Don't be shy." He leaned his head down closer to Su Na's face.

Next thing, he went flying, landing several yards away, knocking onto a few people. It happened so fast; he couldn't grasp what happened. He felt pain on the side of his face and the corner of his mouth bled, making him spat out a mouth full of blood.

Kytos looked over at the direction of the bathroom and saw Yu Sha and Su Na walking away.

The crowds gasped at the sight, Kytos' friends speechless and felt helpless, unable to explain the event that unfolded in front of them. Those who are perceptive enough could probably guess that it was either the work of Su Na or Yu Sha, but things happened too fast to be caught by the naked eyes if you're distracted and not paying attention. The lights were dimmed too, making it harder to see clearly.
