Searching For You

She turned to him and asked for his name but Ken Xue already spoke as he could tell what she was thinking, "Call me Ken and this is Zan, my assistant." He doesn't want to disclose his identity so he shortens their names.

"So, you two are here for work?" Su Na asked.

"Well, yes, we don't work here particularly. This afternoon we're just exploring as we are free for the rest of the day." Ken Xue explained.

Prince Hue Chi, Long Kue and Butler Zeu were observing from the restaurant not far up from the group near the bench. Zanki and Ken Xue were so smooth in their actions and speech that one could detect nothing obvious.

It terrified long Kue seeing the acting of the Trimedeis Prince and assistant duo in their scheme getting to the ladies. He looked over to his prince who still had the stony expression as ever, looking unaffected by what he had seen.

Long Kue sighed helplessly. It would be impossible for him to make a move since his Prince showed no interest what so ever. Did he and everyone else mistake Prince Hue Chi's like for Yu Sha? This stone statue here is so unaffected and unmoved by anything.

By the bench, Ken Xue asked, "Would you ladies like to have a photo together? You two were taking pictures earlier. I wasn't sure if you got what you needed yet."

Yu Sha replied, "Umm... Not yet, but there will be many more places to take pictures." She didn't want to make them feel like it's their fault.

"I'm sure there will be more opportunity for that." Ken Xue replied.

It sounded like Ken Xue and Zanki haven't been to this place with the way he replied. Su Na slowly opened her mouth and asked, "Um...You both haven't been here?"

"We have not. This is our first time." Ken Xue replied truthfully.

Su Na studied the two men, and it seemed like they may be photographers? "Zan, are you a photographer? You seemed to have an expensive camera there." Su Na asked.

Zanki laughed nervously as he looked at his camera. "Ah... haha... not really. My boss here is the better one." His Prince has a keen for art and aesthetic things. He was more scholarly and peaceful than all other Princes in the world. But most importantly, the camera was for show. They had little knowledge how to work it. 

Su Na nodded as she looked at Ken, "Mm... I see. Would you mind?" Su Na asked if Ken Xue could take a picture of them girls.

"My pleasure." Ken Xue replied willingly as he took the camera from Zanki. He then instructed the ladies to go pose.

The ladies nodded and Yu Sha replied, "I guess, since we all are new, we can explore together." She assumed before meeting the other colleagues.

"Ken where are your friends." Su Na asked as she saw no one nearby.

"The restaurant there to the right. They went to get something to drink." Ken Xue replied as he pointed over to the direction of the restaurant.

What they didn't know was that those colleagues have been observing them the whole time.

The group walked farther up by the restaurant.

When they arrived in front of the entrance, Ken Xue waited with the two ladies outside while Zanki went inside to get Prince Hue Chi and Long Kue. Butler Zeu decided to stay behind. An old man shouldn't get in the way of young people. Plus, he can finally enjoy some tea time alone.

When the restaurant door opens, Hue Chi steps out first, then Zanki and Long Kue.

Both Yu Sha and Su were surprised when they saw who those colleagues were. It was the person who just did their project inspection the day before!

Yu Sha was disheartened, "Damn! The Night Owl is everywhere." She muttered to herself.

The Night Owl's eyes are as deep and distant as ever and his expression was as stale as ever.

"Your colleagues?" Yu Sha asked, feeling a little dispirited.

From the sound of Yu Sha's tone, Ken Xue can guess that they may have met before since the two girls work for Ether. But how they reacted to Hue Chi, they must not have known that he was Prince of this country. Ken Xue could understand Prince Hue Chi's intention to keep his identity hidden. He too didn't disclose his status either.

They are similar in ways that they both like to live secretly, stay away from the public eyes. Both their parents are still alive and taking the spotlight. Ken Xue also has two sisters, one older and one younger. His older sister was taking the spotlight with his parents, going out in public, appearing in news and TVs, whereas his younger sister and he still like to stay away from the public eyes.

They like to hide their identity as it gives them more freedom to move around. So, he understood Hue Chi well, except that he was more talkative while Hue Chi rarely talked.

"Hahaha... Let's go, don't mind anyone or anything." Prince Ken Xue dropped the hint for them to ignore Prince Hue Chi if they were not on good term with him.

The group of six started walking. They explored the botanical parts of the mountain and walked up farther to the nature part.

The higher up they go, the more beautiful and breathtaking the area becomes. The mountain cliff looked so beautiful, like heaven on earth. The sea of flowers rolls, curved up and down with the wind while patches of crystal ground glistened as the sun ray hits.
