Searching For You

"You don't trust me because I didn't talk to you last time. Your reason was - a female friend who was present was my girlfriend, and I was refraining myself. Now that she's not here and I'm talking to you casually," he said in a breath like he hadn't got a clue but in actuality, he knew it very well where she was coming from. He just wanted to tease her.

She sighed and continued walking to the elevator. "You're impossible. Now I won't be able to fall asleep because of you."

"Why?" he asked, completely clueless about what she meant.

She frowned at him. "Let's not talk anymore." She didn't think that she could take his personality anymore. She did not want to get worked up over his denseness as she wanted to mentally prepare her mind for a rest.

They got into the elevator. Yu Sha quickly pressed the button for the connecting floor. The current elevator they were in was over at the restaurants and recreational side. They needed to get to the elevator that took them to the sleeping areas.

The elevator door opened and Yu Sha and Hue Chi got out, making their way towards the south elevator.

"Are you feeling better?" Hue Chi was referring to her asthma attack which she did understand.

"Hmm... It's nothing serious." She brushed off her illness but in actuality, it was one of the most serious attacks she had experienced since her birth. She did not want to get into details with people she barely knew, and that made it the best response to give.

"That's good," he said, relieved with the information.

She glanced slightly to her left where he was walking close behind. Did she mishear him? His voice sounded sincere as if he had been genuinely worried about her and knowing that she was doing fine, relaxed him.

She walked up to the elevator and pressed the up button. The elevator door opened quickly as no one was using the elevator at that time of the night.

Butler Zeu, who was inside the elevator, was about to come out. He had heard the door opening and closing when Prince Hue Chi left his room. Butler Zeu had waited for a while before checking his room to see if it was empty. After confirming that the prince had left, he had waited before he stepped out to check on the prince but what he wasn't expecting was to meet the prince and Yu Sha together. Though he looked calm through his external appearance, there was a war in turmoil inside him, excited that the prince had finally taken the first step off his singlehood.

It surprised Yu Sha to see another person at that time of night. If she remembered correctly, he was the man that brought Kao Sheng to join them for lunch last time. "Your person?" she asked Hue Chi.

He nodded.

Hue Chi gestured for Yu Sha to get in the elevator, which Yu Sha complied with.

"What floor, Miss Yu Sha?" Butler Zeu asked politely.

"Ah... Um... Sixteen, thank you."

That was six floors up. Butler Zeu pressed the button for floor sixteen and Yu Sha got off on her floor.

Butler Zeu and Prince Hue Chi got off three floors above Yu Sha's floor. Prince Hue Chi took the lead, and Butler Zeu followed. There were many things Butler Zeu wanted to ask, but he thought he would save it for later. He had never expected to find his prince and the woman of his interest together past midnight. Though he may not make it visible, he was extremely happy inside.

They arrived in their room shortly. Butler Zeu asked if the prince needed anything before they went into their separate rooms after the prince confirmed that he did not need anything.

Prince Hue Chi went into his room and shut the door close. Unbeknown to him, he was feeling quite rejuvenated and felt like he could conquer the night. As Hue Chi took his overcoat off and lay down on the bed, images of Yu Sha's expressions flowed in his mind one after another. The corners of his mouth unconsciously curled up.

Dawn approached and the four men were already up exercising, doing their morning routine while the ordinary people were still sleeping. The prince was reading the news while Butler Zeu made his morning coffee.

"Prince, are you going to be here all day while working? Should we take a break to get some fresh air in the afternoon to go see the construction progress?" Butler Zeu casually asked to hide his intention.

After assuring himself that there was indeed a woman Prince Hue Chi was interested in, Butler Zeu was going to subtly find opportunities for the prince to see the woman as often as possible. He thought, the prince at least needed a dating experience if any.

"We shall see," Prince Hue Chi replied and continued reading the news on his laptop.

Long Kue, Dao Txu and Peng Xu all entered into his suite. Long Kue came to organize his office for work that day while Dao Txu and Peng Xu made their way towards the balcony.

Butler Zeu handed Prince Hue Chi his morning coffee and headed back to the kitchen to prepare a light breakfast for the young men.

Dao Txu went straight to lie down on the couch as he saw the couch was comfier than the balcony chair while PengXu went to sit on the balcony. They just got back from their morning exercise regime. Right now, there was really not much for them to do, so to them, it felt like they are on vacation since the Prince will be at one place for a while which makes their job easier.

Suddenly, Dao Txu's eyes lit up like he just had an epiphany. He got up from the couch and went to the office where Long Kue was sorting files for the day. He leaned in closer to Long Kue and whispered, "Hey Longy, should we help his Lord pursue his woman of interest?"
