After that night of my birthday, we still do our thing, sex. I did not know that he had that kind of energy when it comes to sex.

But I do not complain about that because I know who he was before me love having sex with some women. It will never matter to him what time or place when he feels like it.

I never ask about what are we but still happy that we are always want with each other. He loves our babies so much as months goes by.

When Colton came home from work I decided to talk to him. We were in the dining area eating dinner. He noticed that I was so quiet.

"Baby, what's wrong?" he asked. I love his endearment to me even though we are not a thing. 

"You know that I talked to my family about us and the twins." I said as I looked at him. "I want to go home bringing the twins. Is that okay with you?" I asked. "I was thinking on their first birthday I want to spend it with them."

He was silent for a while. "Am I not included with your plan?" he seems angry with the way I say it.

"What? Of course, you are, we are going there together with our babies." I said because I know he feels like I will leave him behind. "Why did you say that I will leave you here and to think it will be our twins' first birthday?"

"I thought because we do not talk about us you are ashamed of me around you." He said with lack of confidence. I never see Colton like this, acted like he was not included in my plan. I know that we do not have mention about our relationship but it does not mean I will ignore him about being part of our twins' event.

"I know what you mean but I was not like that. You came into my life unexpectedly and we do not talk about us does not mean I will ignore you with our twins' special day." I explained. "You are special to them and to me that it cannot change." I said as I stood up and hugged him. He hugged me back then kissed me passionately.

We pulled away for catching some air. He looked at me like he wants to say something. He took a deep breath after our eye to eye contact.

"I have been wanting to tell you for months now but now, it is the right time to say it." He said as I got nervous thinking negatively. 

I was thinking that he will leave me and the babies and found his love to other woman. Or he will ask me that we are only friends. He was talking to me like I could not hear what he was saying.

"Huh! What? Did you say something?" I asked.

"You did not hear the words I say." He asked in confused. I shook my head saying no.

"What did you say? Sorry I was not paying attention." I apologized.

He shook his head and cupped my face then kissed me again.  He pulled away and says, "Will you be my girlfriend? Say you will be mine… forever."

I feel like I mistakenly heard the words coming out from his mouth or am I? "What?" that's all I respond a question.
