Alfi respawned in the ruins of her dirt house and quietly picked up the pieces.

Alfi glanced at the chat and nodded. "I know. But... Betty helped me build this." She moved her character to look at the crater that replaced the front of her house and muttered, "And now it's ruined."

Alfi sighed. "That's true. But now we have to waste time rebuilding and everything... Sorry everyone." She frowned and then carefully went around picking up the dirt blocks, her torch, and her crafting table.

Alfi finished placing down her blocks and then walked around the house. "It's not as good as Betty's... but it's okay, I guess."

Unlike before, the dirt house was missing more pieces. Alfi didn't have enough blocks to cover up the hole as well as fix the house, so she had to remove a few more blocks all around the house to make up for it.

[Look on the bright side! There's more windows!]

[Right! It's just modern interior!]

[*You can see monsters ahead of time now!*]

Alfi glanced at the chat and then smiled. "Thank you for cheering me up. I still feel a bit bad... but I'm happier now."

Alfi walked back inside her house and placed down her crafting table again. After that, she said, "Okay. Now that everything's back how it should be, I'll explain what my goals were for this stream. The first was to not die... but I already failed that." Alfi sighed.

Alfi read the chat and then blinked. "Everyone..." She smiled and then immediately frowned, shaking her head. "I'm happy that you think of me that highly, but you shouldn't say things like that." She placed her hand over her heart and said, "We don't have forever. The time we have now is precious... but it also won't last. So please, don't say things like that. Instead... I'll be happy if your day is just a little better from spending time with me. Okay?"

Alfi approached the forest. But before she entered it, she stopped and opened her inventory.

Alfi glanced at the chat and then shook her head. "No. I have everything I need." With a triumphant gaze, she clicked on the torch and put it into her off-hand.

With the torch in her left hand, Alfi started moving forward again. "Betty explained to me how monsters show up. It's like ghosts and evil spirits, right? If I have light, then they won't spawn. So then if I have a torch, I'll be safe as long as I'm on the outside of the forest!"

[That's... Well, you're not 'wrong'...]

[*Meincraft logic is a bit different...*]

"No, no." Alfi shook her head. "I'm sure of this! I tried it earlier before the stream and no monsters showed up when I went to the forest!"

Alfi read the chat and then shook her head. "You worry too much... But alright. I'll be careful. It should be fine as long as I'm facing towards the darkness, right? That way I can see any monsters that show up."

Taking extra caution to not leave blind spots, Alfi started punching down an spruce tree.

It was slow. Since she didn't have an axe, it took a few seconds to get each block.

[*I'm so nervous for her*]

[Monsters! Stay away!]

One. Two. Three... Thankfully, Alfi managed to break down a whole tree without being disturbed.

After looking at the stack of ten spruce logs in her inventory, she smiled and said, "I told you! Monsters won't show up when you're holding a-"

A flashing green monster with four legs suddenly walked into view, followed by a soft hissing.

[NOT AGAIN!]

[*RUN!*]

[ALFI NO!]

Alfi yelped and quickly ran away back into the light. But the Creep followed after her, sauntering slowly. Menacingly.

[Go away, you Creep!]

[Stop stalking Alfi!]

[Yeah! Go stalk Hana!]

[MOD: Hana Homura Ch. - What?! Why me?]

[Because you're our invincible imouto!]

"No. No, no, no! I don't want to die again!" Alfi kept running, racing back towards her house. But then she paused.

[Alfi?]

[*Did she give up?*]

[No! There's so much to live for!]

Alfi slowly turned her character around to face the Creep. "I don't want to die. Right... That's what Papa said all the time back then."

[???]

[Papa...?]

[*John said that?*]

[*Alexa! Play You Say Run - My Hero Academia*]

Alfi stared at the Creep and said, "Papa was scared, but he fought anyway. Just like me, he could have died that easily, but he still fought. So then... I can fight too!"

[??????]

[Go Alfi!]

[*We're really doing this?*]

"I won't run away!" Alfi charged at the Creep and then punched it.

The Creep took damage, but then it immediately started flashing again, inching towards Alfi.

But before it could explode, Alfi stepped back out of its range.

And then the Creep stopped flashing.

[*We're really doing this!*]

[You can do it!]

[That works!]

[*Be careful!*]

Alfi nodded and said, "Hit and run. You've done this before, Alfi. You're faster. So..." She ran forward again, punching the Creep before immediately running out of range.

[Yeah!]

[*LET'S GO!*]

[MOD: Hana Homura Ch. - Go Nee-chan! Kill that Creep!]

[:sweat:]

[A-Are those words a cute imouto should be saying...?]

"Ha! Hyah! Take that! Chaos Maiden punch! Destructive Fist! Swirling darkness!" Alfi kept running back and forth, smacking the Creep and whittling down its health.

[Cute!]

[*She's like a fighting character!*]

[Why does Alfi get cuter with every second?!]

[Hnnnnngh!]

The fierce battle eventually took Alfi and the Creep back near the forest. But before they actually entered the forest, Alfi managed to land the final blow.

The Creep flashed one final time before falling over on its side.

Alfi froze. "H-Huh?"

A small puff of white smoke erupted from the Creep, and then it vanished, replaced with a glowing orb of green light and a small stack of black powder.

[She did it!]

[*GG*]

[*Congratulations!*]

[MOD: Hana Homura Ch. - Yay! The Creep is dead!]

[Again, really scary words coming from our imouto...]

Alfi blinked and then a bright smile lit up her face. She pumped a fist in the air and said, "Yes! We did it!" She turned to the camera and said, "I won, everyone! I beat it!"

[Great job!]

[*Fantastic!*]

[:melt: Alfi's so pure... She said she beat it instead of killed it...]

[*Don't forget the loot!*]

Alfi's smile grew wider as she read the chat. And then she saw that last message and nodded. "Right! I can't forget that!" She quickly ran up to the orb and the powder.

There was a soft 'plop' as the powder flew into Alfi's character. But there was also a soft chime and a number popped up in the middle of her hotbar at the bottom of the screen.

"Hm?" Alfi blinked and then turned towards the chat. "What does the number mean, everyone? Betty didn't tell me about that."

[It's your XP!]

[*It's used for enchantments*]

[*Enchanting level*]

[You enchant weapons with it!]

"Enchanting? XP?" Alfi frowned. "I can refine magical equipment in this-"

A faint *twang* followed by the soft whistling of an arrow.

"E-Eh?!"

A thud. Alfi's character suddenly taking damage and losing a quarter of her health.

"A-Arrows? Where?" Alfi spun her character around, looking for the attacker.

[Skeletons!]
