“Don’t touch that…don’t…”

Gu Jun pretended he couldn’t hear the tiny mosquito-like voice. He grasped An Xiaoyan’s member and started moving.

He’d never done this before. An Xiaoyan was his first.

Gu Jun could only see the side of An Xiaoyan’s face—the tightly shut eyes, pink cheeks, and the trembling eyelashes that were like a butterfly’s wings as it danced in the air.

“Mr. Gu…” The voice contained a tinge of seduction. Gu Jun was attracted too, but he still kept it down.

As his hand became covered in sticky white liquid, and An Xiaoyan panted for breath with a red face, Gu Jun finally let go. As soon as he let go, An Xiaoyan started incessantly apologizing. It was as if he had done something wrong.

“Just answer me this. Did it feel good?”

An Xiaoyan was still breathing hard. “Mr. Gu, go wash up. I couldn’t keep it in and made you dirty.”

A sigh rose up from deep within Gu Jun. He walked into the bathroom and washed his hands. Then he splashed cold water on his face. The chilliness pulled him back into reality.

He slammed his right hand against the glass. It now had an additional mark, like a snowflake.

“I’m going next door. Rest up.”

He was escaping from An Xiaoyan and reality. He lay onto the large bed that he hadn’t visited in a long time. It was a different room, different scene, and different mindset.

After Xiu Yijian had left, he’d remodeled the entire home. He wasn’t used to it yet.

Each of them tossed and turned in their respective bed.

When Gu Jun came downstairs the next day, An Xiaoyan was feeding Guo Guo porridge. He glanced at Gu Jun and then looked away.

“Daddy, long time no see.”

Gu Jun picked Guo Guo up and kissed his pink cheeks. “My baby boy, did you miss me?”

“Yeah. Uncle An said he’s taking me to school today.”

“Okay. Then eat quickly and go get your backpack upstairs.”

Guo Guo was provoked by this sentence. He ran upstairs to get the backpack before he finished eating. This way, only An Xiaoyan and Gu Jun remained in the dining room.

“I’m sorry about yesterday.”

An Xiaoyan’s hand stopped stirring the porridge momentarily. “Don’t worry. I moved on from it.”

Gu Jun was scared that An Xiaoyan would be angry. He’d acted on his own accord.

“I’ll go drive Guo Guo after I finish eating. He’s been whining about it these few days.”

“Wait. I need to give you something.”

Gu Jun went upstairs to give An Xiaoyan something. It was a classy suit. Its color was great and it must be very expensive. This regular thing was like a poisonous snake to An Xiaoyan. He instinctively refused it. Thankfully, Gu Jun reacted quickly and caught the suit.

“What’s wrong?”

“I have clothes.” He grew nostalgic at the item. Ye Qing had bought him a suit with her own money. It looked nice, but what use was there? It would just turn to rags in Gu Jun’s hands.

“The kindergarten is for the wealthy and esteemed. I’m afraid they’ll look down on you.”

It was a perfect excuse. An Xiaoyan couldn’t refuse him.

“Okay. I’ll put it on.”

“Uncle An, let’s hurry!” Guo Guo had his frog backpack on. He got his little hat and water bottle and was ready to go.

An Xiaoyan put the fruit box that he’d prepared into Guo Guo’s backpack. The nanny had prepared this when his leg had been injured. The nanny had told him everything to pay attention to.

“Mr. Gu, we’re leaving.”

“Okay. Change your clothes first.”

Clutching the clothes, An Xiaoyan returned to the room. As soon as he closed the door, he leaned against the wall and squatted down. He buried his face into the clothes, feeling chilled inside.

What was Gu Jun doing?

Gu Jun said he liked An Xiaoyan, but the things he brought over kept bringing up bad memories. Which was the real him? Compared to this, An Xiaoyan preferred the aggressive but straightforward man.

He put the clothes on, one by one. When he went downstairs, Gu Jun was impressed and shocked.

This was the true An Xiaoyan. He walked down the stairs in the sharp suit. Someone like him shouldn’t be restricted inside this mansion.

“Mr. Gu, I’m leaving.”

“Bye Daddy.”

“Guo Guo, you better listen to Uncle An so he doesn’t worry about you.”

The man and child walked towards the sun as if moving towards hope itself.

There was a clump of BMWs and Benzes at the entrance of Xuesi International Kindergarten. To make it easier for the parents to drop off and pick up their kids, the school specially constructed a large parking lot at the entrance. Every student had their own spot.

Compared to all the flash cars, the Honda was a poor man’s car.

Guo Guo sat in the backseat. He grabbed An Xiaoyan’s hair and clothes.

“Guo Guo, let go of Uncle. I can’t move.”

Guo Guo obediently let go. “Uncle, that spot is ours.”

An Xiaoyan saw the place that Guo Guo had pointed at. There was a clear empty spot between all the expensive cars.

“Guo Guo, don’t worry. I’ll drive there now.”

There weren’t enough parking spots. An Xiaoyan got a bit nervous at the tiny space between the two cars. Gu Jun had parked last time. Now, he had to face the world alone.

He reversed and inched in. He was basically in but suddenly heard a scrape.

An Xiaoyan picked Guo Guo up. There was a three-centimeter-long scratch on the BMW beside them. He hadn’t felt it when he was reversing, but it might have been too cramped in the end, so he accidentally scratched it.

He had to pay for this, obviously, but he had to bring Guo Guo in first.

The entire path there was filled with parents and their kids. They were all dressed in suits. An Xiaoyan and Guo Guo quickly drowned in the sea of people.

The kindergarten went from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon. The parents only had to come before four to pick their kid up. The students all ate lunch at school.

An Xiaoyan brought Guo Guo to the entrance. Their teachers would come to lead the students inside. An Xiaoyan reminded Guo Guo to listen to his teacher and then left.

As expected, the owner of the BMW was already waiting for him when he returned.

A woman in a leather jacket, heavy makeup, a purse, wavy hair, who smelled strongly of perfume stood beside An Xiaoyan’s Honda.

“You scratched my car, right?”

An Xiaoyan didn’t deny it.

The woman started yelling. “Do you know how much money my car costs? I just bought it last month. Do you know how expensive it is for a paint job?” As she spoke, she glanced at An Xiaoyan’s car. “It’s just a crappy hundred-thousand-something Honda. You probably sold your home for your kid’s education. If you can’t afford the school, just go somewhere else. Don’t kill yourself, pretending to be rich.”

An Xiaoyan didn’t care about the insults in her voice. He just wanted to find a solution.

“Madam, what do you think I should do?”

“It’ll be a few ten thousand for a paint job. I’ll fix it up too. You should feel lucky to have gone against me today. How about 50 thousand? Give it to me now and there won’t be any more issues.”

An Xiaoyan clenched his fists tightly and bit his lip. “I’m sorry. I don’t have money.”

“You’re kidding, right? Your clothes must have cost tens of thousands. They look new too. How about you give it to a pawn shop?”

“Madam, the suit was given by the master. I’m just an average driver.”

The woman tossed her hair. The fragrance spread through the air and An Xiaoyan held his breath subconsciously.

“I don’t believe you. Call your master over. He can pay for it, right?”

Should he call Gu Jun? An Xiaoyan had made a mistake today. Judging from the woman’s attitude, she wouldn’t let it go unless he paid.

If he called him, he would only make trouble for Gu Jun and owe the man more. When could he finally become free?

“Hurry up and call. Don’t waste my time. If you’re not willing to call, I’ll call the police over.”

The police would only make things worse. Plus, he had a criminal record.

“Okay, I’ll call him. Please wait.”

An Xiaoyan took out his old phone and found Gu Jun’s number. As soon as he dialed the number, he heard a mechanical voice.

“I’m sorry, I forgot to pay the phone bill. Can I borrow your phone?” An Xiaoyan asked awkwardly.

His pathetic image made the woman furrow her brows, but she still handed the phone over. “Be careful,” she made sure to say. “This is the newest edition. Can you afford it if you break it?”

An Xiaoyan dialed the number again. The call went through, but the other end hung up halfway through. He tried again, but it happened again.

“Are you a scammer?” The woman was clearly annoyed, thinking that this man was trying to buy time.

“No, I really can’t call. How about I try again, or put my card in your phone? He should pick up if I use my number.”

A crisp slap landed on An Xiaoyan’s face. “If you can’t afford it, then you can’t afford it,” the woman huffed. “Why are you talking about your master? This is how the society is. Money can do anything. You can’t pay, but your clothes look valuable. I can’t do anything with your car and I don’t like it either. I can give your clothes to my men though.”

Before An Xiaoyan could process her words, a few men with sunglasses appeared from behind the woman. They went up to tear off An Xiaoyan’s clothes.

“Go away! Don’t touch me! Go away!”

His voice was useless against the group’s violent strength.

“If I see you again, I’ll definitely humiliate you. What’s wrong with people these days?!”

The woman drove the BMW away with her men. An Xiaoyan hugged himself and curled up beside the Honda. It was almost noon and there weren’t many cars in the parking lot. The sun beat down, but An Xiaoyan still felt cold.

He kept getting bullied because he wasn’t powerful enough. Why did he take Guo Guo to school? He clearly couldn’t drive well enough.

All the failures made him doubt himself. He couldn’t even be a driver now.

Thankfully, only his suit had been taken. Anyone on the street could embarrass him like this. What was so special about the rich?
