"Alright follow me, get into the groups that we decided earlier." Finn says as he leads us on a path that is bustling with other newbie adventurers and their mentors.

"Sir, what groups are you talking about?" I said as I'm pretty sure that they didn't assign teams.

"You're with me, count it as punishment since you were late." he says without even turning to face me. As we keep walking you can see the forest all around us and hear the birds chirping. While admiring the scenery of the forest we reach a gate with guards on it.

"Here we are, from here we will be splitting up into the teams and explore. We will meet at the entrance to the second floor and head in a group from there." listening all of them head in with their partners leaving only me and Finn. "Let's head in, just follow me I'll show you how to hunt kobolds efficiently." he says as he motions me to follow like a senior telling a junior what to do. Heading into the dungeon I can see people in the distance fighting something, the walls are covered with moss, and it really just feels like a big room overall.

"So you want me to catch them off guard, distract them with one of their owns death, then sacrifice a weapon to take another sneak attack." I say testing the waters to see if he is all muscle or not.

"Well you can do anything that comes to mind really, these things are weak so you shouldn't have any problem."

"Alright let's look for some more kobolds so I can try." I say trying to clear my head from all his titles

"What are you talking about there are kobolds heading right to you. You kept staring into space and you weren't listening so I thought you were in the zone or something. Good Luck!" he says as he watches me from safety.

"Bastard watch me kill these kobolds then you're next!" I say as I pull my sword into position and stab a kobold in the stomach and it drops its weapon falling onto the floor. Letting go of my sword I grab the kobold's short sword mid-fall and slash at its head as it is crouching down getting the notification for the experience I aim at the other kobold that was with it. This kobold is a slightly different color and is a little bulkier than the other one, seems to be smarter as well since he decided to block all this time instead of attacking. 'Ugh looks like it will be a tough fight' Grabbing my sword out of the other kobold I slam the kobolds sword at the variant and he tries to block with his sword, upon the two swords meeting a loud sound of metal clashing is heard and another sound of something piercing through thick skin. Looking up I see my sword halfway in the variant's arm, trying to pull it out isn't working so I punch the variant in the stomach and reach for the kobold sword on the floor and slash at his legs. The kobold variant falls over slowly bleeding out so I stab the kobold sword at its heart and rip my sword out of its arm.
