Reincarnated Assassin

A minute passed by and Ritzy finally saw the light of the beastkin's eyes fade. No signs of life were present anymore. At the same time for confirmation he was dead, the fire magic spell surrounding the buildings and traping Ritzy disappeared.

Ritzy released his grasp from the beastkin's mouth, causing the beastkin's body to fall mercilessly on the ground while water spilled from his mouth.

On the floor, the beastkin had a pale complexion while liters of water came out of his mouth. On his hand, neck, and face were bright red and blue veins. All signs of death from drowning and a struggle to survive but failing.

With the threat gone, Ritzy went into full serious mode and ran to the injured girl. Since he saved them, they would owe him a favor which Ritzy could use now. But since one had lost a limb and the other stabbed which is causing them to both bleed furiously. Ritzy needed to save them quickly if possible.

Ritzy rationalize that since they're the strongest people here, they could most likely make the Junger and Dayla problem go away. But he knew it wouldn't be possible with them dying here so Ritzy decided to save the girl first since she's the most likely to survive from the injured duo.

He knew that Benedire, he could 100 percent make the problem go away, but Ritzy wasn't sure Benedire would survive. However, with the woman who overpowered him before, there would be a good chance he could save her and that she could solve the problem easily.

Ritzy quickly arrived in front of his rapist and kneeled. Before she was on the ground weeping because she thought Ritzy was Amantay and he died again, but now her face was filled with tears of joy that her husband saved them.

Her husband who was granted a second chance so he could save her didn't die, but successfully saved her and is now in front of her. Bringing her almost detached arm closer to him and examining it to try and save her.

Amora,

"I missed you".

Ritzy felt a chill go down his spine from her words, Reminding him of what she did the night of the banquet but he calmed himself and finished examining her.

Seconds ticked by as Ritzy controlled the healing magic to create tissue. Making arteries and veins to connect the forearm to her body.

With the blood flow established, he started using the healing magic to make nerves, muscle, bone, bone marrow, and more. A couple of minutes passed by and her arms were finally reattached and any torn off pieces replaced.

During the whole process, Amora looked into Ritzy's eyes. They were filled with focus and glowed pleasantly. She didn't care her dead husband who came back to life didn't respond to her earlier. She was too entranced by watching the person she believes is her husband heal her.

With the arms back to normal and her life out of mortal danger from blood loss, Ritzy stopped holding her arm and stood up.

When Ritzy let go of her arm and stood up, she panicked and grabbed his hand. She looked at him with worry and her eye's looking as if she would cry at any moment.

Ritzy looked at her and gently said,

"I need to see if I can save him".

She bit her lips, her eyes were pleading for Ritzy to not go, but she still let go. Her heart didn't want to let him go, that if she did, he would disappear forever but her mind reminded her that he needed to save Benedire.

Ritzy, on the other hand, was relieved she let go. He needed to check if it was possible to save Benedire and to do so if possible, but with his rapist like this. He needed to tread lightly, especially with her emotional state right now.

With her letting go, Ritzy quickly got away from her and approached Benedire. He went back down on his knees and examined Benedire's body, hoping that he was still alive.

A couple of seconds tick by and it showed Benedire was still alive but weak. The knife didn't hit anything too important but he is internally bleeding plus poisoned.

Knowing it wasn't to serious, Ritzy sighed from relief and used healing magic to heal Benedire. He let the healing magic enter Benedire's wound and repair anything damage. Ritzy then used wind magic to suck some of the over-excessive blood in certain areas while also removing the paralyzing poison that the knife had.

Finally the blood distribution was corrected and the wound was fixed. Benedire then began to regain conciseness.

Amora who was praying nearby for Benedire to come back to life smiled when she saw Benedire awakening.

Regaining consciousness, Benedire noticed Ritzy had his hands his stomach while Amora was crying and smiling nearby. Seeing them, he became confused but then remembered he was stabbed and they were fighting.

Benedire,

"Where's that damn beastkin!".

Amora said softly,

"Amantay got him and healed us".

Benedire,

"Ritzy, did you save us?".

Ritzy,

"Yes. Sadly, I couldn't save your beastkin friend".

Benedire then remembered Senshi was here and stabbed by the lizard beastkin as well. Benedire tilted his head and looked behind Ritzy and saw his friend in a pool of his own blood.

Ritzy didn't examine the beastkin so he didn't have confirmation the beastkin was dead but since it been more than five minutes since he was bleeding to death. Ritzy knew there was no chance for him to survive.

Benedire,

"He was one of my closest friends, I can't believe he's gone because of this corrupt city".

Benedire then turn to the other side of the room and looked angrily at the dead corpse of the lizard beastkin.

"How did the bastard die. I hope horribly".

Ritzy,

"He died slowly. I made him realize there was no chance of survival and saw him lose all hope in living from today onwards".

Benedire,

"Thank you, that's the least he deserves".

During their whole conversation, Amora was left speechless when the person she thought was her god sent lover back to this world responded to the name Ritzy. Hearing him respond to Ritzy caused her to notice the difference between her late husband and Ritzy. Her mind filled with thoughts of her realizing her husband never came back.

Benedire then turned to Amora to check how she was.

Benedire,

"I don't know what exactly happened but the one who saved us is Ritzy. He is one of the priority defenders I assigned for the machinery division".

"I know that now".

Benedire,

"We all miss Amantay but we can't change the past. Just like we can't change what happened with Senshi".

Amora sighed and stood up from the ground.

"I know. Time keeps moving forward and everything is changing. I just miss how good everything was before. Being a crew, traveling the world, and being married".

Benedire gave a slight smile and got off the floor and came to her to hold her hand.

"The past was great but there are still good things happening today. Memories waiting to made".

They both smiled and Amora gave soft thankyou to Benedire.

Finishing there chat about the past, Benedire turned to Ritzy.

"Thank the original god for bring you here today and thank the war god for helping us in this battle. We would've died without you here. I promise I'll repay you as soon as possible and I'll tell you father about your deeds in this war".

Ritzy gave a slight bow as Benjamin taught him and he smiled now that he saw his chance.

"Lord Benedire, I actually have a problem right now if you could help me. If you want to repay me, could you please fix this problem".

Ritzy then continued explaining what happened but with lies in the mix about Junger and Dalya. He explained to Benedire that Ravageur, Dayla's fiance, was harassing her. What happened was that Dayla rejected his wish to get married and tried to annul the wedding. Sadly, Ravageur made sure to hide the letters to her father and his father that she wanted to end their enrolment.

With no response, she was forced to continue being his fiance and be bullied by him. With her forced to act as his fiancee, she had to ignore all his harassment and him going out to mess with other women.

Then one day she met knight Junger and fell in love. Nothing happened with Junger and she waited for any response from the heads of the families before she did anything. Unfortunately, one of Ravageur's knights noticed she had feelings for Junger which was true but lied about anything unappropriate of an engaged woman.

Ritzy finishing his story, Benedire and Amora became enraged.

Amora,

"That pig!".
