"How is your current life, Arina?" Kuso started the topic by asking the widow. She replied to him,

"Well, Mr. Corona. I am pretty stable in my current life. But... You can see it yourself, am I right? We have a hard time rationing now after the incident that Miss Technoknight had done. But... I didn't blame her for doing so. She was right at that time since none of us were daring enough to oppose the Seikara Empire."

Kuso was feeling guilty for what had happened to them. He was thinking that if he did not spank that knight, then this incident would not happen anymore. 

However, He was well aware that if he did not do that. Then they will come and hunt the villagers again. 

There were no longer any what-ifs that should be talking of! 

They have arrived together at the plaza where everyone was talking about the trace of the blood. It led Kuso to follow the bloodstains which had triggered the attention of the crowd. 

Kuso looked at them who had an unpleasant face, one of the men who had a lion face questioned him.

"Mr. Technoknight's assistant. Did you know about this incident?" 

Kuso rose his head as he wonders what had happened actually. His eyes had widened as he shouted,

"REILI!"

In front of him. It was a naked girl covered by the sunlight. And her body was being painted with the Chinese characters that Arina spelled as,

"Find me, Layla."

And the situation had shocked the others as well. However, the citizens were aware that it was not only them who had been shocked over their newly ascribed village head being impaled in the cross wood. 

Kuso shouted to the rest,

"PULL HER DOWN!!! ITS ONLY A FEW MINUTES BEFORE HER LIFE IS BEING TAKEN AWAY!"

The men who heard that was nodding in his agreement led them to pull the cross down. And then, Kuso commanded the girls,

"ANY OF YOU WHO IS THE MEDIC, COME OUT IMMEDIATELY!"

But... Nobody reacted. Only the males reacted to remove the iron nail on her leg and her hand.

"Errgh..." The faint voice from the girl had been heard clearly by Kuso. It led him to hurried come over her and covered the girl's pure body by using his grey sweater. 

And then, he tried to clean her mess up by using his sweater which led her to shriek in pain.

"It...s...too...painful..."

"WHO HAVE DONE THIS TO YOU!" Kuso yelled in a wave of anger that led the man silently. To them, the man who instructed them was a nice and never angry person. But, it was for the first time that they had seen it.

"Don't trust... Corona..."

She went fainted for the cause of massive blood loss.
