Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Black shallow of death immediately understood what Shirley wants to hear, " It's not in my hands. Everything is in the hands of our boss. I am just a mere subordinate, always following the boss will. "

Black shallow of death answered, not blaming herself and instead pushed everything at their boss stake.

Hah~ Shirley scoffed back at black shallow of death, " So, you just nodded your head and came here to execute whatever boss orders around? ''

Shirley is literally glaring at this moment. Her stare very intense. If looks could kill, is the phrase which exactly suits the situation right now.

Black shallow of death didn't mind Shirley's behavior. He know, this attitude is actually not for him and for their boss, " Apparently, " He replied, agreeing with her words from before.

Shirley smirked at his reply, " Are you stupid. What's wrong with your head? I am not helping this time. Do whatever you guys want to do. You should have told boss you won't be taking a part in this. Then that stupid wouldn't have dared to plan this.  Your words hold alot weight than you know, " She said, knowing very well that, if black shallow of death won't be taking a part in this plan, then their boss wouldn't even dare to think about such an incident to happen.

Black shallow of death is their boss strength and yet the same time their boss's weakness. It only takes for him to say no, for many of their plans to halt abruptly. But he is a man of word.

He sworn loyalty to his master and never questioned his master back, blindly following his master's every order, believing their masters every word to the point that he is ready to kill himself if his master asked his life to sacrifice in his sake. That's how much he believe in his promise, but because of Shirley's unexpected involvement sometimes, to keep both parties safe, he had to lie to their big boss. "This is for everyone sake, " he always thought that and never cared about it much.

" You do know I am obliged to follow boss's every word. You willing or not doesn't concern how plan progress.

This has to go on, " He declared, indirectly warning Shirley to not put her finger inside this mess. If this plan succeed, then their master can come to seazle empire and secure an high important place, which will make everything easier than they always expected how things go.

Shirley's anger spiked up at this level, she was not in the mood to control herself at the moment, " Yeah sure. Then you guys can do whatever you want and I will plan what  I got to do on my own, " She gave a sweet smile in response, which looked more like an evil smile to black shallow of death.

Shirley simply shrugged her shoulders, " Don't underestimate me. I am only doing an underground task. I never left black pawns. I too got few  people under me, who are very loyal and ready to sacrifice themselves if I ask them to. It's just I don't want to disclose their identity, " She emphasized her sentence, hinting black shallow of death, that he isn't the only person who would exchange his life for saving his life once.

Black shallow of death nodded his head, seemingly understood. He know Shirley trusts him, but trusting doesn't mean Shirley had to disclose all secrets she got and from other side, one should never disclose their comrades hidden identity, which could be a threat to their lives. Knowing that, black shallow of death didn't probe further.  With curiosity, his asked, but if the other party isn't interested to talk about it, then doesn't want to force the other party to answer his question.

Black shallow of death chuckled lightly, " It's ok. Everyone make their own choices. I chose it. Boss saved my life back then, so I could only repay boss using my life in exchange of gratitude. " He explained calmly.

" Oh really, what if boss is lying to you. What will you do then? " Shirley questioned back. She really wish that being the case. Both Shirley and black shallow of death had sworn loyalty to their boss, but they were never trusted by the boss.

Those both are mere pawns for their boss, using them when they are useful and throw them once they are worthless. Black shallow of death never doubted their boss. But for Shirley this wasn't the case. She already guessed what her boss is upto. So she already started making moves on her own for a long time ago and using black shallow of death, she is even capable of controlling many black pawns from inside and out. It's just, she didn't have against her boss. If she had solid proof, then she could easily turn black shallow of death to her side and overturn black paw troop with her comrades. 

" Speak only if you got any proofs Shirley, " Black shallow of death replied back.

" Ho, come on. Then why isn't boss trusting you. Isn't it because, you will leave boss once you find out the truth? Why do you think there are moles beside you and whom do you think those moles are planted by? " Shirley asked a series of questions.
