Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Little Lucia pouted again, having cuteness overloaded on herself, " But brother, they didn't come back even after I waited for so long time. You know, my legs have gone limp and itching from all standing while waiting for them. You know that feeling of leg cramps? Yeah, thats what i was feeling." Lucia tried to explain Felix and he just stared at her in amusement. She was definitely something else.

"Besides, I am very sure, they forgot about me and are roaming around together, enjoying themselves, " Her pout deepened as she went on a complaint spree and not liking the part where they left her alone to spend time with themselves.

Felix bursted out in a fit. He couldnt stop himself anymore. He sure felt bad for Little Lucia, however, he sure felt happy for his sister Aeinshia. As he thought about her spending time with Evan, a wide grin appeared on his face. His sister will be happy spending time alone with her love and if she is happy, then obviously, he will be also be happy. Sure his sacrifice didn't go for nothing. But, he now he had to entertain a complaining princess, whose pout was becoming bigger than ever. 

" It's not like that Lucia. You do know Aeinshia and Evan were betrothed. So it is only right for them to know about each other and spend time to express themselves. We should understand it and give them their space. As a human, every individual needs their own private space and one shouldn't invade it. That's why I too left them before, giving them the space they needed to let them develop their feelings. So that, they understand each other more before they marry off and support each other. Understood? "

He tried to clearly explained the situation to her. If it's any normal time, then he wouldn't have bothered himself to explain her, however, it involved his sister, so it is only right for him to pacify Little Lucia and calm her down for his sister.

Lucia again fell into contemplation. The more she understood his words, the more she felt like a stupid today. Now it also made her a third wheel without her knowledge.

Aish~ how come I didn't realize anything? This is so tough. It is indeed true, to know the world, one must get out of their house first. Sigh~

"So, shall we go back and find them? " He spoke with a smile to her.

" But brother, this..... " She didn't speak further, instead took out a orange boat, which popped in her hands out if nowhere. Felix was stunned for a second, looking at the object in her hand. He didn't even notice it was in her hands before.

Saying such, he took her near the banks and finally freed her from his carrying. Safely placing her foot on the ground, he too immediately sat next to her to support her shoulders, just in case, to not let any mishaps happen to her. He will be beheaded for sure, if anything would happen to her in his presence. His closeness with the Emperor, would never come to his rescue, if situation came to that. 

Lucia eagerly placed the boat on the surface of water, closed her eyes to make her wishes. While concentrating on making wishes, she forgot about the boat which is placed on water and tightened her hand on the end and tilting the boat a bit, resulting a small amount of water to enter inside the boat.

Felix noticed that and immediately held the boat, clearly knew that she might make a fuss if something goes wrong. Of course, any kid her age will surely make a fuss if such things happen. Knowing well, he too held the boat, while she made her list of wishes.

Placing the boat finely, he let go of his hold on boat and continued to watch their reflection on the lake water. Lucia slowly opened her eyes and saw him observing their reflection on the surface. Later, she let go of the boat and slowly pushed water trying to help the boat to travel towards the center of lake.

Soon enough, with Felix helping her, their boat securely occupied the center of lake and went back to search Aeinshia.

" Did you find her Evan? I am so worried. We shouldn't have left her alone like that, " Aeinshia asked, as worry took her in, while her legs paced to and fro non-stop.

Evan grabbed her hand, signalling to get a hold of herself, " Calm down Aeinshia. She isn't a kid anymore. She is already 8 years old. I left capital when I was her age. She is clever. We both are searching for her and guards are also working on it. We will find her before night end. She will be alright, so don't worry Aeinshia, " He assured her, trying to calm her down a little.

Evan too was worried, but he was worried that Aeinshia would get a heart attack, if he too went berserk on not finding his little sister. 

So he remained calm and well composed unlike Aeinshia.

"But---" She got interrupted by him. 

'But, she ain't you Evan. She never left palace. So it's easy for her to go missing.'

Thats her uncompleted sentence. 

" Stay still Aeinshia, I am worried about you more compared to Lucia went missing, " He commented on her restlessness. 

Aeinshia was momentarily shocked listening to him, but she didn't say anything at the end and stayed still, waiting for a word from the soldiers. 

In fact, her guilt inside her kept on doubling, as she thought of Lucia. She told Lucia that she will come back soon to fetch her, and now she is blaming herself for coming back late, as she thought Lucia must have stayed at the same place she was supposed to be if she didn't get bored staying alone for such long time. 

Yes, Lucia is clever. But, she is still a small girl. Still innocent. She doesn't how the world works. Even with her intelligence, some things just might occur even though we do have power. God forbid, but if anything happens to Lucia, she wouldnt be able to forgive herself. 

Aish~ Aeinshia sighed. 

Evan Furrowed his brows witnessing her jitteriness. 

Holding her hand, indicating her to follow him, he began to search for Lucia. 

To his luck, in less than ten minutes, he saw a familiar back, which held a small figure in its arms. 

He knew, from the dress colour it must be his naughty sister who made Aeinshia worry for nothing. 

Halting his motion, he directed his gaze towards the small figures long ahead them, while Aeinshia too followed his line of gaze and sighed in relief. 

Felix came to them in all smiles, "What are you guys so doing here? I thought you must be roaming around, so I was searching for you guys there. Guess I assumed wrong this time , " He laughed back wryly. 

Aeinshia felt relieved after seeing Lucia back in one piece. However, she felt displeased for Lucia's thoughtlessness, henceforth, began to reprimand Lucia, " Lucia? Do you think it is palace for you to move around freely? " She huffed in frustration. Her guilt before vanished to thin air as soon as she saw Lucia safely and only remainded was anger and worry. 

However, before worry came out, angry lashed out, which she is trying to suppress. 

Lucia jumped from Felix arms and sprinted towards Aeinshia.

" Careful, " Felix, Aeinshia and Evan, all voiced out their concerns for the little princess. 

Lucia smiled cheekily at them, Tugging Aeinshia's dress, she spoke ," Aw~ I am sorry sister Aeinshia. I saw brother Felix and went after him. I really didn't think of the consequences of my thoughtless actions. I am sorry for making you worry, please don't be angry at me anymore. Pretty please, " Lucia pleaded with her cute big puppy like eyes, attacking Aeinshia with cuteness. 

Who could be anymore angry at such cute princess. Soon enough, Aeinshia too felt her volcano cooling down and calm down finally, " Behave properly next time, " As she completed her sentence. 

Then, a sudden realization hit her. It was her fault anyway. She shouldn't have gone for long. If she was early, Lucia wouldn't do something like that. She sighed and looked at the widely smiling princess, "Lucia, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gone for long time." She said, with a worried face. 

Evan, too bended down, "I too apologize, little sister." He said with a smile and with that, Lucia's smile increased, if that was even possible. She suddenly hugged Aeinshia and both of them smiled big into the hug. 

Evan: why am I ignored now? 

He thought inside his heart, nonetheless, those words didn't leave his mouth in the end.
