Reborn As A Dragon!?

Chapter 49 - Finally

Previously:

Looking right into each other's eyes, Noodle communicates to Horae. It gets awkward as they stare at each other for around 5 minutes in complete silence.

After a little while, she seems to understand what to do and turns to Hikari's bone corpse.

(Horae) - "[Reverse](SSS)"

Suddenly, Hikari's body starts to form back into her full body with her... Eh, organs first. Eventually, a dead dragon with its tongue sticking out with its eyes in a weird matter can only be described as...

Ahegao.

{---------------------------------------------------------------------}

(Adventurers) - "Finally, it's over."

The assault of the capital may be over, but the damage and losses are catastrophic.

(Charlie) - "Damn it, Daisuke, why did you have to be trouble constantly. When I first came here and when demons started attacking."

(*Charlie*) - "No matter what he did, he didn't deserve the life he got."

A few tears are seen being shed.

(Charlie) - "I'm... sorry."

Finding the will to move, Charlie heads back to the capital that is now rubble.

As time gets reversed on Hikari, I can't help but facepalm at the sight before me. Why does every little thing have to be so weird in this world? It's like God is just bored out of his mind and writing all of the memes he has in his head down into a book.

My thoughts get cut out when I see Hikari crawl into her dead body's mouth.

(Alderam) - "The hell are you doing!?"

(Hiloli) - "I need to go back into my body, right?"

(Alderam) - "Shouldn't you be able to enter your body in a soul transfer thing?"

(Hiloli) - "Now that you mention it, that is a better idea! You're so smart, Alderam!"

Did she lose all that intelligence when she came back or something?

Finally, understanding that her previous idea was borderline idiotic, she walked through her dead body without physically going into her body through the mouth.

After a few seconds, she started to breathe and slowly get up. When she is on her feet, she does a ninety-degree turn towards me and lunges at me.

However, this time, I can tank the blow and not go flying backward hundreds of meters. Initially, I wasn't too worried about Hikari since Noodle has a resurrection skill, and she is borderline...Nah, she's immortal, so I knew she could be brought back.

I'm not the type to do a complete personality change and be a total revenge freak. I ain't some emo edgelord after all. I just wish I had the anime plot armor where I get some random bs power-up to defeat the antagonist during the fight. *cough cough* Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail I'm talking to you.

Anyways, I should get back to the giant light dragon hugging me like a monster. I'm legitimately surprised at how much stronger I got during my training. I didn't feel stronger then because I was getting my a.s.s handed to me for years.

(Alderam) - "Uh, you can let go now."

(Hikari) - "It was horrible. I was stuck inside of that filthy dragon slayer! I'm only yours. He. Must. Absolutely. Be. Eliminated."

There's the Hikari I know.

Surprisingly, she actually lets go of me and instead looks at Horae before hugging her.

(Hikari) - "Thank you for everything you've done!"

(Noodle) - "*Whisper* I don't think mom knows that she doesn't understand anything she is saying."

After the heartwarming reunion, a giant white pillar of light surrounds me as I vanish from my spot.

Who the hell can teleport me? Please tell me I'm not going to get Isekai'd again.

(???) - "Don't worry, you won't. I'm ending all of the bs that is going on, considering that you are the strongest being on the planet."

Looking to my left, I see a man sitting down watching television eating popcorn.

(God) - "Uh, so I'm God, nice to meet you, Adelram."

(Alderam) - "Well, you weren't what I was expecting from an almighty being, considering you seem to be a boring loser. Why did you call me Adelram?"

(God) - "Oh shit, did I misspell your name when reincarnating you? Your name was supposed to be Adelram. Adelram means 'dark noble' while Alderam doesn't mean anything."

(A/N - I hate to admit it, but I misspelled his name for the first ten chapters before I realized it was wrong. I just rolled with it throughout the rest of the book, lmao.)

I start to focus on the television, and I see that he is playing Skyrim.

(God) - "I thought that it would be cool if I gave you a bunch of Skyrim stuff to see what you would do with it."

Right next to it, he has a mini-fridge with a tiny screen. I notice that it also has Skyrim loaded on it.

Oh no, Todd Howard even got God to buy his fridge Skyrim!?

(God) - "The reason I called you here was to give you a choice. I'll give you two options, so choose wisely. The first one is sending you and/or your family to wherever you want. The second option is staying here, but you have to live under my rules. The main rule would be not to have any more damn children that are cheats."

(Alderam) - "So you're telling me that I can go back home?"

(God) - "If that is what you wish, then I'll send you back to your home right before you got slapped by my all-powerful Truck-kun."

(Alderam) - "You were the one who killed me? Why send me back now?"

(God) - "I didn't do much, I gave you the option, and you just stood there and took it head-on without trying to dodge it. As for your second question...I've run out of ideas to throw at you."

I give the literal God a blank stare and facepalm.

(Alderam) - "I had nothing before all the dragon shit happened, so I didn't really care about my life. I thought living in an isekai life would be fun and exciting, but it was dangerous and wasn't as great as I imagined it being. If I had the chance to go back, I honestly wouldn't when I first got here, but now, if I could bring everyone with me back home, that would be nice."

(God) - "If that is your wish, then fine, I'll give you a day in the world before you get transported. Obviously, you won't go back in your dragon form, but you will keep some things you received in this world."

With that, I see myself back surrounded by my family.

(Hikari) - "You're back. I was so worried!"

(Alderam) - "How long was I gone?"

(Hikari) - "Around one minute."

(Alderam) - "I need to tell everyone something. So if you could all listen closely, that would be great."

After a few seconds, I get the courage to tell everyone the news.

(Alderam) - "We are going to be transported to a new world tomorrow."

I look around, and not even a moment after, Hikari replies.

(Hikari) - "Sounds good. I'll go with you wherever you go."

The kids don't seem to mind either, as they haven't had any real attachment to this world. I need to tell Parthenia goodbye since I won't be able to see her again.

While I think this, I hear a voice in my head.

(God) - "I'll send her with you guys since she is one of my favorite characters in this story."

Well, that's oddly convenient then. It wouldn't be the same without her. Now that I think about it, I will need to teach everyone how to act since there will be some serious problems if Hikari walks around acting like she usually does.

(Classmates) - "Gods!"

Oh, I forgot about these people. It looks like Tiamat made them lose their memories. Hopefully, Horae will allow them to remember who they were. Knowing this story, everything is convenient, and it will most definitely happen.

(Alderam) - "Noodle, tell Horae to reverse the memories of these humans for me."

Nodding, she tells Horae to restore their memories to which the humans shine before turning into children.

(Hina) - "Bah. Beh."

Understanding what I was thinking, Noodle immediately got Horae to turn them back and get their memories this time. Almost immediately, all the teenagers turn back into their older forms and pass out, probably from getting their memories tampered with.

After dealing with that, Hikari starts to talk to herself, which I find strange before talking about a certain weeb. Look's like she is saying goodbye to one of her 'students.'

I put the kids on my back and signal Hikari to fly with me to Parthenia's cave.

*The Call*

(Hikari) {Rammy and I are leaving. Don't you dare waste my gift, you trash.}

(Charlie) {Wait, what? Is this Hikari?}

(Hikari) {No, it's your worst nightmare.}

{End}

After a small timeskip, we all arrive at Parthenia's cave.

This is going to be really hard to explain to her. I wonder if she will be missing an eye when we get transported back.

(Alderam) - "Parthenia!?"

(Parthenia) - "Hello young Alderam, did you bring thy bitch back to mine cave?"

(Alderam) - "Well, I'm here to tell you tha--"

*teleporting noise*

A blinding light meets my eyes, and my vision clears to see my old apartment. Looking at myself, I realize that I am human again. I see Hikari, who has her human form without the draconic parts. Realizing I'm back, I see a kid that looks no older than four with grey hair, and I look to see three more children with a baby lying in a Hikari's arms.

Nobody says anything in pure shock at what has happened. I then hear a smashing noise in my old room. An older woman with light blue hair smashes my door open.

(Parthenia) - "WHAT THY FUC-!"

(End)
