Reborn As A Dragon!?

Previously:

A group of 10 of the most capable adventurers heads out on their journey to hunt down the menace known as Alderam, the darkness dragon.

*In the Private Prison*

A hero can be seen with dead eyes. He has been locked in here with no hope ever to escape. His old friends never even came for him even though they knew he was imprisoned here.

*Hina P.O.V.*

Goodness, this is far easier to manage. I thought that this dungeon would be much harder to conquer, considering that it is known as the deadliest dungeon in this new world that we have been transported to.

It was said that the furthest floor ever recorded was said to be around twenty-two, but I question if this dungeon has been weakened as we have already made it towards the 20th. Taking out the first couple of bosses was a sinch.

(A/N - The Dungeon is still Recovering from Alderam even after 10+ Years)

The darkness dragon could be level 100 and still be much stronger than us, but that is highly unlikely considering his caused treachery. Even the strongest hero in the world couldn't kill him, and he was said to have a level boasting 120+.

Well, it was said that the dragon flew away rather than being killed, so we all should have enough strength to fight off, if not win, a battle against the beast.

I feel guilty. I couldn't protect the only classmate that truly wanted to get stronger. In the end, he became the strongest god knows how.

*Flashback*

(Classmate) - "Please, Charlie! We will need your strength. You are stronger than any of us and will have the greatest chance of defeating him!"

(Charlie) - "Who?"

(Classmate #2) - "The darkness dragon, obviously!"

(Charlie) - "Alde-- I mean, the darkness dragon is too strong. Even the great I, stood no chance against his wif-- him!"

Gasps could be heard by the many that were watching the spectacle.

(Hina) - "We need you, Charlie."

Charlie smirked and placed his fist high in the air.

(Charlie) - "You should've thought about that before you kicked me out of the kingdom. I tried so hard and was bullied to the point where I was considering selling my soul to a holy-demon guy."

In the middle of the entire kingdom whilst surrounded by many spectators, Charlie proceeded to unravel one of the fingers that stood in the middle of his fist and screamed with glee.

(Charlie) - "F##k You!!!"

*Flashback End*

Snapping out of my thoughts, we all heal up and slowly open up the doors to the next room, awaiting the next boss of the dungeon.

All we see inside of the room is a simple c.h.e.s.t.

(Random Classmate) - "Be careful, everyone. I think it might be a mimic."

(Random Classmate) - "What the hell is a mimic."

(Random Classmate) - "It is basically a c.h.e.s.t that turns into a giant monster with rows of sharp teeth. It lures adventurers into opening it to attack them then when they are off guard."

All of us get into the formation we practiced when dealing with a boss of any kind. After many buffs and preparations, we fire spells and have our warriors rush it while our main tank runs in first.

After we attack, a large smokescreen appears, and everything goes silent. After the fog clears, all we see is an unharmed c.h.e.s.t.

Since nothing happened, our main tank slowly approaches it and opens the c.h.e.s.t up to find nothing but a single sheet of paper.

Confused, we all go behind him to read what the note had said.

(Random Classmate) - "So you're telling me that we wasted MP and precious time just to get a note from the dungeon master telling us to stop going?"

(Random Classmate) - "Why is this world so weird?"

*Floor 45 Alderam P.O.V.*

Kids...

Why are they so hard to deal with...?

Currently, I have been trying to lay down for the last 30 minutes, and even though I played with him over and over again, Yami is basically a magnet to me. So far, he is my favorite because of how cute he is. He is fairly annoying, don't get me wrong, but this little guy is adorable.

I don't know how it is on Hikari's end because Taiyo sticks to Hikari almost 24/7.

If you have siblings, your parents will say that they don't have a favorite, but don't let it fool you because they definitely do.

I wouldn't say I dislike one of my children, but one of them really gets on my nerves.

*chomp*

I get suddenly woken up as the little devil just bit the edge of my nose. I move my head up, and he is just hanging off of my head, looking me right in my eyes.

(Alderam) - "Tiamat, off!"

He lets go of my nose and looks at me with an angry look in his eyes. He turns around and sees Hikari, and a mischievous smile appears on his face.

(Tiamat) - "*sniff* *sniff*"

I see some liquid start to come out of his eyes. I swear this kid can't have 1 intelligence.

I don't know if it's a mother's sense or something like that, but she immediately snaps her head towards me with a death glare.

I look down and sees that Tiamat stops 'crying' and smirks at me.

(Hikari) - "You wouldn't do something to Tiamat, would you!?"

(Alderam) - "Uh, I can explain."

Hikari slowly walks over towards me like she has some Bleach spiritual pressure shit, and I am shoved towards the ground.

(Alderam) - "I LOVE YOU!"

Hikari has a complicated look on her face for about half a second, and then...

(Hikari) - "Don't try that with me."

*Wham*

I go crashing through the house down the mountain.

Not even a minute passes when Hikari flies down with tears flowing out of her eyes.

(Hikari) - "Tiamat's gone!"

Since when did you care about him more than me, you crazy woman!? I go up back towards the house, and lo and behold, the little devil isn't anywhere to be seen.

(Alderam) - "Well, maybe hell come back lat--"

I pale as the death glare returns.

(Alderam) - "F-fine, I'll go search for him."

*Back with the Heroes 2 Hours Later*

A large group of exhausted heroes can be seen sitting in a seemingly empty village.

(Hina) - "People have to been trapped on this floor and built the village. Where did the people go?"

(Classmate) - "We should look around to see if we can find supplies or anything."

Deciding to take a break, all of the adventurers go into the small town and see nobody. Even all of the houses that they entered were empty.

Remembering that everything that dies gets absorbed by the dungeon, Hina realized that everyone must've died for it to be this empty.

Seemingly out of nowhere, they hear a crashing noise in what seems to be the town hall as it is the largest building in the entire place.

Readying their weapons, the heroes meet up and slowly open the door to find a scene they wouldn't forget for the rest of their lives. Countless dead human bodies everywhere can be seen.

*snap*

*munch*

*munch*

One of the corpses seems to move a little before a little head pokes out. It is a small grey and reddish dragon that sort of looks like the pokemon Gible.

It cutely looks at all of the adventurers with big adorable eyes before jumping at a speed that nobody could keep up with straight towards them.

All the heroes turn their heads in sync to see their tank with a missing head and the dragon chewing on it in the corner.

(Hina) - "Quick, it's the darkness dragon. Get in formation!"

Without a tank, the warriors cover the mages as they start to heavily buff their party members to stand a chance against the darkness dragon.

The warriors jump at the dragon for it to then turn around with vicious eyes.

(Tiamat) - "[Authority over Darkness]"

A wave of dark energy comes crashing down on the warriors, killing them instantly. The mages shoot all the spells they know in panic, and it seems not to affect him.

As the dragon starts to charge up a fireball, a loud booming voice is heard.

(????) - "Tiamat, where are you, you little devil! Hikari is going to kill me!"

The dragon stops and runs over to the voice, where a loud chomping sound can be heard.

(????) - "OW, that hurts you little brat!"

Still scarred from the darkness dragon, the heroes go outside to see the voice source to feel only despair. That tiny dragon that almost killed all of them were hanging off of a dragon 100x the size of themselves.

(Classmate) - "Ha, hahaha, HAHAHAHA, we're f.u.c.k.e.d!"
