Reborn As A Dragon!?

After getting signed up at the guild and making my way to the dungeon with the team, we took a carriage to get there. I have Parthenia to thank for that.

It really sucks that I have to go on foot because it would take me around a day to make it all the way to the dungeon by myself due to my ability to fly.

(Jean) - "Sooo, lets get to better know each other. Are you a noble of some kind because it might be a factor for us when we are hunting monsters in the dungeon. If you are, we can't let anything happen to you or someone might target us."

(Haku) - "That wont be a problem because despite how I look, I am fairly strong myself." Haha, if something did happen to me, they would have to deal with a big a.s.s dragon hunting them down. "To answer your other question, it is a yes and no. I'm not a true noble, but I am. Forget it, it's very complicated and I would rather not talk about it."

(Jean) - "Very well then. Hey, have you heard about the darkness dragon that has recently been born? It is really powerful and we couldn't handle it which is why we are hunting in the dungeon. It will give us even more experience fighting monsters and level us up making us stronger."

(Haku) - "U-u-um doesn't ring any bells, but I heard that he is a real menace even though he hasn't done anything too horrible yet."

(Riza) - "The key word there is yet. We need to defeat it before it becomes a threat in the future. There is no denying that it is evil because it made Jean here piss himself."

(Jean) - "I thought we wouldn't talk about that in front of Haku! You guys passed out as well, so don't act like you guys are much worse than me!"

I can now conclude my hypothesis that I created when I first came into this world. They are all idiots...

Hold the flipping phone, I have hands now! I decided to buy a pouch at a shop down in the village so I have all of the things I need. I can finally get my secret weapon, the [Pocket Sand].

I put my head out of the carriage to see that it is becoming dark, so we decide to stop where we are to get some rest for tomorrows journey. We eventually stop heading in the direction to the Dungeon of Demise to set up camp for tonight...

We were all talking to Haku and he seems to be a nice young man, but I feel like we have met somewhere because his aura seems very familiar. However, his aura is very weak and he seems to not be able to produce magic.

People's auras are given off depending on how much magical energy they have and I feel bad for him because he seems to be able to cast a fireball or two before passing out completely. I just hope nothing seriously bad happens when we reach the dungeon.

Haku P.O.V.

I am able to sense things due to my superb smell as a dragon, so we should be fine considering that I only need around 2 hours of sleep each night. This will be really helpful in situations where I can't get enough sleep during certain missions and such.

I then fall asleep...

Morning 8 Hours Later

I have already been awake for around 3-4 hours because it's kind of hard to tell time when clocks are extremely expensive in this world.

During my time awake, I quietly walked around camp to look for some sand so I could use it in important situations.

I came across a small pond with a bank and as soon as I saw sand, I rushed over and dumped it in my pouch so that I would have enough for later. I then hear a growling noise behind me.

Wow, didn't know a boss could be so weak. It probably is due to me being pretty strong for a monster, but whatever. I should go back to the camp before we finally head out to the dungeon.

Timeskip 2 Weeks

Finally, we made it all the way to this stupid f***ing place and it looked very intimidating. It had vines going over it, skulls made of stone, and blood on the entrance. If this isn't a foreshadow, I don't know what is.

We enter the dungeon to find a few goblins on the first floor and they get dealt with fairly quickly. It took around 10 seconds to kill around 20 goblins because of their great teamwork.

The next few floors were nothing to scoff at. There were traps everywhere, half of the c.h.e.s.ts were mimics, and there was an death knight on the 5th floor in a boss room. I basically just stayed back and watched them jump around and beat the every living sh** out of it.

Riza was literally a spider monkey flipping around and attacking, Jean was clashing swords with it, and Ellie was buffing and healing them as they did it. They were the perfect party for each other.

However, it all went to sh** when we reached the 10th floor. It was said that only the S ranks and hero's could only make it down to floor 22 before having to give up due to its danger. When we reached it, there was a huge door with matching serpents on them.

(Jean) - "Hm, looks like this one is going to be fun." A slight smirk made it in on Jean's face as he opened the door.

We walk into the room to see a hydra like monster but snakes as heads. It looks down at us with its 14 meter tall body. All of the adventurers start to shake as they know they are going to die fighting that thing. They turn around to see that the door slammed shut.

(Riza) - "Are you guys crazy, t-there is n-no way this can be r-real. That thing is the monster of all monsters, it is going to tear us apart!"

(Jean) - "Haku, go hide, I have no idea how we are going to get out of this!"

Welp, I guess it is my turn to fight. I knock them all out with [Dragons Might] so that I can fight at my peak strength. "Appraisal"

Man, this is one tough hydra. He is level 100 and is only the floor 10 boss. The problem that this guy is going to give me is the fact that his defense and HP are crazy high. He is nothing compared to Parthenia, but still, I think I am going to have a hard fight.

Before I finish looking at all of his stats, he shoots a huge fireball at me and I immediately transform into my dragon form and counter with one of my own. Since our skills are the same level, they equaled each other out.

I use the smoke created to slip behind him with my speed to shoot a [Darkness Breath](S) at his rear which just ends up shooting a lot of his scales off. "This is going to be a pain in the a**".

He turns around to use a combo of [Frost Breath] and [Poison Breath]

I fly upward to avoid the poison, but the frost breath clips my wing. "Damn, it hurts, but I can still fly fine."

I decide to then use [Darkness Illusion] to confuse him as he looks up at me. He blankly stares at me when I go back behind him to fire a [Fire Breath] at his heads which destroy them, but they just immediately grow back. "Hydras are sooo annoying to deal with man. Just f***ing die already.

(Alderam) - "Lets go mother f***er, show me what you got you overgrown lizard!"

He regains consciousness as I have a brilliant idea...

I go and grab my pouch that I left on the ground when I transformed and fly straight up to the Hydra and then I crop dust him with sand. [POCKET SAND BITCH]. He starts whining as he closes his eyes.

I use this opportunity to go behind him back where he was hit originally and fire a full powered [Darkness Breath] into his previous wound.

It drains through my magic like crazy, but I keep blasting it through his back. He stops moving and I fly further and keep my back facing the Hydra.

(Alderam) - "Omae wa mou, shinderu"

(Hydra) - "NANI?"

He slowly gets bigger and then explodes into a million pieces all around the boss room.

Yes! This is awesome, Parthenia wasn't kidding when she said that I would level up like crazy when fighting here, I just leveled up to 44 with a not very hard boss fight. I use [Darkness Heal] to heal up my wing that was clipped during our fight and transform back into my human form. "I guess I'll have to ditch them considering that they will see that I defeated the Hydra."

I take them up and out of the dungeon and head back to the 10th floor.

"Looks like I'm going to get stronger here!" As I walk to the next floor...
