Rebirth, Ceo's wife is born

3 Sincerity and Loyalty

Exiting the restaurant Jia Ling felt much more relaxed, playing the piano really helped her calm down and sort through all her emotions. Being reborn although it's a new chance, it's a lot to process . The day was going well the sun shining brightly yet not too hot and she had finally processed everything, however, even a great day can be ruined within a second.

Walking down the street as though owning the world and wearing flashy clothes that scream too much money, were a group of girls Jia Ling unfortunately knew. There were five of them in total all wearing a similar style, copying the girl in the center of the group.

"Jia Ling!!! I called you to ask if you wanted to come shopping with us, You never answered me though! It's important to always answer a call of a friend otherwise you're not a very good friend, we shall forgive you this time since it's a nice day. Would you like to come shopping with us then?"

Diu Qi, the girl in the middle was the daughter of a small but long standing business and spoke arrogantly with a hint of a 'parent scolding a child' tone, almost like not answering her call immediately is extremely wrong and must never happen again.

Holding back the twitch her lip was almost about to undertake, she smiled sweetly.Sounding neither too close nor too distant, no need to make unnecessary enemies for no reason. Diu Qi wasn't really a bad person, she was just brought up believing she was the center of the world and therefore acted like the most important person alive. Her above average but not extraordinary looks caught the eye of some men, further enhancing her belief and self-importance within her heart.

Diu Qi has thick dark hair which was tied up in a bun and light blue eyes, the contrast between her hair and eyes was quite beautiful.

What really made Jia Ling want to slowly distant herself from this group was their lack of sincerity and loyalty. They wouldn't sell each other out to outsiders, but they definitely would talk to others within the group behind each others back. Adding the fact they didn't really care for each other, not once did they feel sad or even just visit to keep up pretenses when she was in the hospital. They just continued on as if she had never even existed.

Although they weren't scheming or calculative towards her, they weren't loyal or thoughtful of each other. It's better to have friends who in your time of need will be there for you, the ones who always have your back, always there for you and it's a two-way friendship otherwise the other might as well be using or taking advantage of you.

"Sorry I left my phone at home and had to leave early this morning since I had important plans that I couldn't cancel" She replied lightly.

"Is it just me or does Jia Ling seem different?, You know what never mind, I'm probably just thinking too much" one of the girls to Diu Qi's left whispered to the girl beside her before sighing.

"Fine, While you do whatever, we will be shopping in the best mall in the city. Don't regret it later, Bye!" Diu Qi replied haughtily before turning and strutting off in the wrong direction. No need to tell her though, she wouldn't admit it due to her pride, ego and stubbornness.

...

Arriving at a small local library which looked more like a warm and homey cottage with flowers growing up the side of the building. Jia Ling could feel butterflies in her stomach and her blood begin to pump through her veins faster in excitement at who she could meet here.

Mei LiXue was one of the friends she got along with most. They only knew each other for a few months before Jia Ling had to leave the body she was in. Mei LiXue was from an average family that was well-off but was kicked out as soon as she turned seventeen, her family saying she should be able to look after herself at that age. She suffered for a few years, became slightly malnourished and got quite a few scars and bad memories. At nineteen she managed to get herself a nice apartment and own a small local business, nothing big or well-known.

To go from being on the streets with absolutely nothing to getting an apartment and small local business within two years is quite amazing, if she was born into a wealthy family without struggles, plus the connections from her family she might have made a name for herself. She wasn't skilled at business but rather art, her artwork portray profound emotions and are breathtakingly realistic. Her unique style created captivating pieces.

Without the money for college or art school she never got the right qualifications so some people looked down on her or didn't hire her, this was another reason despite her talent she neverreached her full potential. LiXue had told Jia Ling about how she regularly came to this library when she was first kicked out, it became her safe haven, her escape from reality for a while.

After only half an hour a younger version of Mei Lixue finally came through the door, saying hi to the librarian on her way past. Even though she looked much younger Jia Ling would be able to recognize her even if she was only five, they were just that close.

Waiting another five minutes Jia Ling finally made her move, walking in LiXue's direction she sat down beside and smiled gently at her before softly speaking to her.

"Hi, I'm Jia Ling"
