The first aspect, the peak speed.

The peak speed is an important indicator of the drive motor, and it is also the most obvious indicator of the gap between the domestic drive motor and the foreign motor.

In the case of maximum power operation, the peak speed of most permanent magnet synchronous motors in China is between 4000-6000 rpm, while that in foreign countries is basically above 10000 rpm.

The speed is mainly related to the manufacturing accuracy, process and materials of parts, such as the materials of shafts and bearings, fit clearance and uniformity.

As far as the material is concerned, the shaft is generally forged, not cast. The cast material has poor compactness, poor plasticity, and is easy to break.

Of course, no company is foolish enough to manufacture such high-rpm shaft cast material.

Shaft materials are generally 35, 45, 40Cr, 45Mn2, 40MnB, 35CrMo, 35CrMnSi, 40CrNiMo, etc., and have undergone quenching and tempering heat treatment process.

High-speed shafts like this require high temperature resistance, so heat-resistant steel (including Mo), such as 35CrMo and 40CrNiMo, must be used.

The surface of the shaft is worn, so the hardness is required to be very high, but the inside of the shaft is required to have enough toughness not to break easily, so it needs to be quenched and tempered. This process is the same as the blade of a household kitchen knife.

The manufacturing nature of 3D printers is similar to that of casting. Mu Yang is currently unable to solve the problem of the compactness of 3D printer materials, so he has not yet developed 3D printers.

Xinghai Group has good material casting and forging factories, world-leading machining equipment, advanced heat treatment equipment and technology, and the quality of the shafts produced is very good, which can reach the world-class level.

The second point is the power level.

Although domestic motors can basically reach the international level in terms of power, there is a weight disadvantage under the same power condition, so there is a big gap in power density compared with the international level.

At present, the power density of permanent magnet synchronous motors in China is mostly in the range of 1 to 2 kW/kg, which is far from the target value of 3.5 kW/kg in 2020.

The weight of the motor is much lighter than that of the battery pack, and the casing is made of aluminum alloy. The power of a single machine is generally between 150-210kW.

According to the technical level in 2020, the general overall weight is between 50-65KG.

If the power density of the motor is mostly in the range of 1-2 kW/kg, then a single motor will be very heavy, which not only increases the weight of the vehicle, but also takes up space. one of the main reasons.

The motor technology purchased by Muyang can reach 4kW/kg in theory.

The dual motors are 625 horsepower, that is, the single motor is 312.5 horsepower.

In conversion, 1 horsepower = 0.735kW;

In other words, to reach 229.68kW, the theoretical motor weight is 57.42KG, which is relatively light for such a high-power motor.

However, after mass production, how much can actually be produced is still unknown.

If you entrust a domestic motor factory to produce, a single motor must reach more than 100KG, if you can't get it to 150KG, then you can still play.

The third point is the area ratio of the high-efficiency area.

The high-efficiency area of ​​motors in my country accounts for 70% to 75%, while foreign motors basically reach more than 80%.

In terms of motor efficiency, the highest efficiency of domestic motors has reached 94% to 96%, which has reached the level of Siemens, Remy and other enterprises.

The area ratio of the high-efficiency area is the key, and it is useless to occasionally reach 100% of the maximum power.

For example, for a 200kW motor, the actual output power is 80%, which is 160kW.

The high-efficiency zone refers to the system efficiency exceeding 80%, that is, above 160kW.

If the output power of the motor is stable above 160kW, the area ratio of the high-efficiency area is 100%.

In this regard, Muyang's requirement is to reach the advanced level abroad.

The fourth point is the cooling method.

The cooling method of motors has gradually developed from natural cooling to water cooling. At present, domestic and foreign motor companies mainly use water cooling. A few years later, foreign advanced motor companies have developed oil-cooled motors, which further improves the cooling efficiency of motors.

This is actually a problem of cost, and it is not difficult to solve it.

The speed is high and the temperature rises quickly, so oil cooling is used;

The speed is low, the temperature rises slowly, and water cooling can solve it, so there is no need to use oil cooling.

Xinghai Group optimizes materials, production technology, structural design, etc., and develops towards intelligence and digitalization.
