Iron Blooded Female Admiral vs Vengeful Female Adjutant(1)

“Your Excellency, you’ve awoken?” A gentle voice spoke from the side.

The figure within the large sleeping cabin opened their eyes, and glanced calmly at the person beside them, humming in acknowledgement.

Without a single hint of drowsiness, she stood briskly and walked over to a large screen display.

Behind her, the person who had called for her earlier studied her unfathomably.

She was a very handsome woman.

Using the adjective ‘handsome’ to describe a woman was usually not very accurate, but in regards to this woman, it was a perfect fit.

The saying that ‘men in uniform are the most handsome’ also applied to women.

The close-fitting design of the Imperial military uniform perfectly outlined her tall and regal figure. Below neatly trimmed short hair is a beautiful, androgynous face. With a single glance from those indifferent brown eyes, most citizens of the empire would fall.

The mission world that Gu Shengyin had arrived in this time, was different from any she had been to in the past.

By the 10,003rd recorded year of the Milky Way Galaxy, humankind have already entered the era of super-technology. The planets that they inhabited could no longer satisfy their needs, and they turned their gaze outwards to the rest of the galaxy, and even the distant, unknown stars as goals to conquer.

Humankind now are able to strengthen their genes through various biological repair serums, obtaining strong physical abilities and great vitality. The average lifespan of humans has been increased to five hundred years. Of course, the ones at the pinnacle of strength have much greater longevity.

For example, the body Gu Shengyin had transmigrated into this time — the only female commander in the Galactic Empire, Situ Jin.

The Galactic Empire was one of two major forces of humankind within the Milky Way. The other was the democratic Interstellar Federation.

Situ Jin was born into one of the Galactic Empire’s major families, but she held no interests in involving herself in politics or intrigue. At the age of 18, she tested into the Imperial Military Academy on her own qualifications. Five years later, she graduated with SSS honors and immediately entered the Storm Lion Legion of the three main imperial legions.

For the next twenty years, she climbed her way upward, step by step, until she was personally awarded a Medal of Honor by the emperor of the Galactic Empire, and became the commander of the Storm Lion Legion.

After the Marshal of the empire, the next highest rank was the commander of the three ace legions, or the three great generals of the empire.

Situ Jin was not only the lead commander of the three, but was also the youngest commander ever appointed in the empire’s history.

The imperial citizens were speculating that, if this trend continued, it was likely that Situ Jin would become the first female marshal since the founding of the Galactic Empire.

In the end, however, Situ Jin was unable to reach that height. The cause was precisely the gentle adjutant currently standing behind her — Lin Qi.

As Situ Jin’s adjutant, Lin Qi was also Situ Jin’s confidant, and one of her most trusted people in the world.

But this most trusted person betrayed Situ Jin during the war with the Federation.

Situ Jin died during battle between the Federation and the Empire. She was also the highest-ranked military officer who was killed in action during the millennia-long conflict between the two great powers.

The emperor of the Galactic Empire was furious, and the friction between the two sides sparked into a white-hot rage. Thus, countless casualties fell on either side. The war spread to consume the entire galaxy, pulling the galaxy into chaos.

This was the end result.

Gu Shengyin, who had read the entire plot, knew that her adjutant was not called Lin Qi at all. Her arrival at the Storm Lion legion, becoming her adjutant, was not a coincidence at all, but rather part of a step by step, premeditated plan.

Ari’s Corner:

i finally started translating again today, after a month of procrastination, and remembered that i was procrastinating because i hate translating interstellar settings

on another note, i turned a year older this past weekend, though i am still a broke college student going through a financial crisis, just like everyone else in this economy
just plugging my paypal here; and i’ll def be willing to spend more time translating if i get anything, rather than picking up extra hours at the restaurant
