Planet Vlad
50 Recoil's story of the miracle..
I remember only vague parts of the stories.
They were talking about medical research, treatments which were at the forefront of the world, even of the enhanced world. My great grandfather and grandmother hid in a small village and started a family. I grew up there too eventually and I remember my parents treating villagers with bottles of medicine, in our house, but none like the one I gave Zoya.
When I was a small child, I remember some bad things happened – fire, screams, being pushed out a window into the snow and thrown a small bag.
Somehow, clutching the bag I survived, an old lady fed me, looked after me for a while, until she died..
So, I ran out of food and began scavenging, met and made friends with Vladimir.
We were forced to flee the Scavenge Sectors.. when an Overseer tried to **** me.
Our paths led us to Belokurikha. It was there I saw your daughter, Zoya..
She was weak and looked as if she was at the end…
I remembered the medicine that was in the bottom of my small bag. I knew it was something special, that my parents had given me the best of their medicine – something lifesaving.. and so I offered it to the Lieutenant..
