Vladimir and Recoil had to stop themselves from laughing.

He explained the semi-meditative state that he had fallen into when riding and how the tendril like wisps had appeared in the ether of his mind.

Then he went on to tell the ladies how he made the connection with the strongest of the wisps which bridged a mental connection with Rurik..

Zoya and Recoil listened attentively to Vladimir's tale, realizing that he had stumbled upon the process that they would need to use to communicate mentally themselves..

Because of the value of this new information, the two girls decided then and there to dedicate the monotony of the rest of their carriage journey to developing their own telepathic connection.
