She stood and looked down at her arms..

In her mind - a face flickered, the huge face of a mountain dog watching her..

Zoya remembered the dog.. from the previous day..

Why had it appeared in her dream..

Again she saw herself standing glowing and beside her stood the dog..

Zoya and the Ovcharka ran together for miles - tirelessly through the night..

Her breath flowed through her as she ran.. deep breaths.. no longer shallow and exhausting.
