Original Wolf -

Chapter 50 - Elijah vs Finn

Elijah was home alone, the girls, Rebekah and Camille, went out with Hope to enjoy a bit of time away from the stuffy house they were couped up in.

Elijah was sitting out on the deck drinking when he received a call from Niklaus.

Elijah- "Brother."

Niklaus- "Marcel was caught by Finn recently and he was able to figure out Hope is still alive, keep your guard up, he could becoming."

Elijah- "I understand, what will you be doing?"

Niklaus- "Someone other than Finn has been snooping around the city, inquiring about the white oak stake, I'm going to find out who."

Hanging up he sensed his approach- "Finn, I see you have found our secret."

Finn walked around from behind the side of the house in view to see Elijah standing and ready to fight- "Elijah, you don't know what your doing, this child can't be allowed to live."

Elijah furrowed his brows- "You would kill a child? our family's child? How far have you sunk into madness Finn? And here I thought mother did a number on me."

Finn shook his head- "You don't understand, that child will bring Dahlia and once she comes we will all die..." preparing himself "...And I can not allow that to happen." swinging his arm sending a blast of magic towards Elijah who was thrown on his back skidding across the deck.

Elijah quickly jumped back to his feet and zoomed over only for Finn to swing his arm again this time sending him flying to the side through the wall into the house.

Finn walking slowly up the deck into the house- "You can't win against me, I'm channeling our mother and our father, I have more power then you can possibly imagine, so when I tell you Dahlia is to be feared, you should listen."

He found Elijah in the living room as he threw a fire poker like a javelin towards Finn, who was ready as he waved his left arm to send it off course blowing a hole through the wall as it shot through.

Elijah took this time to charge Finn only for Finn to raise his right arm in preparation and sent magic out to squeeze his brain, causing him to fall over in immense pain.

Finn- "Like I said you can't win, I noticed the child isn't here anymore, but since your still here she can't be far, where did you send her?" squeezing his hand more to cause more pain to Elijah.

Elijah felt like his brain was going to explode as he tried to fight it, but this was beyond him, with Finn channeling both parents he really did have no chance.

Finn squatted next to Elijah as he squeezed more again, watching him withering in pain- "This can all end if you tell me where the baby is."

Finn started to let up to see if he was willing to speak, this gave Elijah just enough clarity to notice there was enough gas now as he took off his ring, he still needed to walk to a window to light himself up though.

Finn not noticing this asked- "Are you ready to talk yet?"

Elijah grinned- "We should have kept you in a box for the rest of eternity."

Finn having his button pressed grew angry as he kicked Elijah over towards the window- "If you want it to be that way then I'll have you suffer for eternity." raising his hands.

"It's about time you died for good brother," Elijah said sticking his hand into the sun, bursting into flame and lighting the gas causing a massive explosion.

Rebekah and Camille who were on their way back saw the explosion, Hope hearing it unconsciously reacted sending magic out stopping the car.

Camille surprised- "What the heck!?"

Rebekah frowning- "Something must have happened, we shouldn't stop here."

Camille with concern on her face- "It's not me, the car seems to have died."

After a little while the car restarted, Rebekah ignoring why the car suddenly stopped frowned- "Something must have happened, I'm not sure we should continue on."

Camille with concern on her face- "But Elijah is still over there."

Rebekah also concerned- "I know, but Hope is more important, it's what Elijah would want."

Elijah soon showed up though and put there fears to rest, Rebekah getting out of the car- "Elijah what happened?"

Elijah looked worse for wear with a burned suit in tatters on his body and smudge marks on his skin from the debris and ash- "Finn happened, but I managed to come out on top, we should head back to New Orleans and talk to Niklaus about any future action now that our safe house is gone."

Niklaus entered the church to be greeted by Kol and Davina- "Kol, Davina, I would like you to find who has been snooping around for the white oak stake."

Kol sneered- "Why should we help you, you still haven't given us the diamond that was promised from the last help I did."

Niklaus- "Did you or did you not help Rebekah, the way I see it, she's still in the same position as when I first asked for your help, as for this diamond business what exactly is it you plan to do with it?"

Seeing Kol Flinch, which didn't go unnoticed by Niklaus.

Davina tried to mend the situation- "It's for a powerful cloaking spell so no one can find us once we leave, we'll be free from all of this."

Niklaus not exactly buying it choose to move on- "Well help me with this new endeavor and I'll give you the diamond, but only if the job is complete, do we have a deal?"

Kol furrowing his brows- "What choice do we have?"

Niklaus grinning evilly- "I'll take that as a yes, let me know when you find something."

Watching him leave Davina waited before speaking- "Kol, maybe we should just leave without it, is it really necessary to get it?"

Kol was afraid of Niklaus, he wasn't going anywhere till he got something he could use against him- "Yes we need something if we just left it would be only a matter of time before he came for us, we need a weapon to defend ourselves when that happens."

Davina frowned, she was tired of all of this, she didn't wish to fight anymore or even be in New Orleans anymore, she wanted out, but she was in love with Kol and didn't want to leave without him.
