"Edam/Captain!" Of course, his crewmates were surprised to see him here with a broom, while some onlookers recognized and some didn't.

"You... who are you…?" Rob Lucci asked coldly.

"..." Edam with all the respect he had for him,(which was not much or even nil) ignored his question. 

Since people had already recognized him, he simply took off his mask and released his tail as it swayed around freely. His broom which has been imbued with his Armament Haki slowly retained its brown colors.

People slowly started to recognize him as they whispered.

"Oh, it's the Hero's grandson…"

"Oh true, it's true…"

"But why was he cleaning up the field?"

"Isn't he a Captain? Shouldn't he be exempt from doing this?"

Rob Lucci turned his head and heard the whispers before he looked at Edam.

"So you're Monkey D. Garp's grandson…"

Edam silently cursed at that idiot for exposing him. "Why did you attacked me?"

"...I first thought that we were spied on when I spotted you…" The leopard spoke slowly. Being well versed in the art of going undercover he saw through Edam disguise.

"...And then, why did you try to kill him…?" Edam asked while glancing at Mickey.

Hearing his question, Rob Lucci sneered as he glanced at Mickey.

"I hate weaklings…" He responded simply without adding anything unnecessary.

"..." Edam's head unwillingly tilted at these words finding this answer kinda stupid. "Hmm, but your leader is pretty weak though…"

"Ugh…" A sound rang out not far away. The amount of honesty in this line could be deadly.

...

"Hmph, the world government recognizes him as our leader, so he is…"

"Then, your words are still stupid…" Edam spoke softly but still high enough for him to hear.

Swish!

Rob Lucci's body burst forward as he used Soru quickly followed by a Shigan that tore open the air.

However, being too agile and reactive, Edam merely dodged that by leaping lightly as he landed on a small building behind him.

Lifting his head to look at Edam up there, Rob Lucci opened his mouth to speak.

"... Those who show weakness are no better than criminals, they are dead weights that should be removed…such useless trash..."

"..." Edam kept silent for a moment.

"You… that's enough for now go back…" Tsuru suddenly spoke from the sides. Although things were heating with a pretty good fight to be, it wouldn't be a good thing if any of them were hurt.

"That's right let's go we have seen e-..." Spandam tried to settle the tension down too but he was abruptly interrupted.

"-Even then, it is still stupid… leopard man…" Edam interrupted Spandam completely ignoring him.

"What…?" Lucci coldly narrowed his eyes with a dangerous glow in it.

"I completely disagree with you, everyone can show weakness, to become strong you were inevitably weak… one of my masters once said that the tallest mountain started as a rock and I kinda like this idiom. It seems that weakness is a sin of some sort for you right…?" He spoke slowly and calmly.

"..." Lucci didn't give a reply and stayed silent, replying to his question nonetheless...

Edam's hand moved to his hand's wrist where a black bracelet could be seen as he started to manipulate something before he opened his mouth to speak.

"And… if Weakness is a sin…" His eyes flickered with a yellow glow for a moment.

~~~ Space and Time seemed to freeze in place as the sound of the wind moving rang out in everyone's ears.

Rob Lucci's eyes opened wide, while cold sweats rapidly covered his forehead as a chilling voice entered his ears, freezing his spine for a moment.

"Then, shouldn't I kill you right now…?" 

He didn't hear a thing and didn't see a thing as the young man soundlessly appeared in front of him, like a ghost seemingly.

To his horror, two fingers were leisurely present underneath his chin against his throat.

The guy appeared right in front of him and managed to place his two fingers below his chin without him understanding anything at all…! 

Rob Lucci 'What- what the hell was that…?! Impossible! His Soru cannot possibly surpass mine by this much, this is impossible!'

He even still had his broom in his other hand….

Faced against this Oh so simple move of him, he felt as if Death's scythe was currently resting on his very throat. 

He didn't even dare to move… even though he was much familiar with death, having taken innumerable lives, it was still every living being's instinct to fear it, no matter how much one was familiar with it.

He had the vague and strange feeling that if he were to move a single muscle with even the smallest bit of malevolence at that precise time…

His head would somehow end up rolling on the ground by now… 

"See? You're not so strong…" Edam muttered mercilessly. 

The way he was stared at by the young man felt as if he could take his life however and whenever he feels like. That guy was supposed to be shorter than him but it felt as if a Titan was facing him.

"But this would be way too easy, so let's leave it at that alright…?" 

It was only at those words that Lucci snapped out of it and quickly retreated far behind.

Seeing this Edam took back his right hand and he simply turned around to leave.

Seeing him leaving just like that after this crushing display in speed, Rob Lucci's anger kicked in instantly.

"Yo- You…" The shame he felt at this moment was inconceivable, so much that he shouted.

[Life Return! Paper Art Fighting Form!]

Lucci's body expanded to his huge leopard form and then mysteriously decreased to a smaller one.

With that done, Lucci's burst into speed.

Swoosh! swoosh! swoosh!

He bounced on the air to reach Edam position with breathtaking speed and struck with his claws aiming for his head.

"Fight me!"

Hearing and sensing this Edam's face which was not looking behind drew a smirk.

"As you wish…"

He slightly tilted his head to the left side making Lucci's hand strike the void.

"What-?!" Lucci's eyes widened as he saw Edam's elbow moving backward striking his face.

Boom! 

The next thing that happened was that Lucci was propelled to the back with extreme force, but managed to stay on his feet as he held his nose that nearly broke while his head felt dizzy.

However, as he shook his head to get rid of the dizziness, he saw Edam moving at top speed in his direction.

[Tekkai!] He reacted just in time to harden his body with Tekkai but Edam already saw this coming and so didn't aimed for his stomach…

When Edam appeared in front of him he smirked "Heh, Fly…"

And bang!!! Swwooshhh!!!

An uppercut violently punched his chin sending him flying in the air like a cannonball thirty feet above the ground.

Licci gritted his teeth together and tried to look at his foe.

Edam who was still on the ground with one foot stomped the soil, crushing it into cracks as his body rapidly shot up in the air rapidly reaching Lucci who tried to get away in vain as Edam fist struck him on the face sending straight to the ground again.

Swoosh! Boom!

A crater was formed but Lucci quickly got up on his feet and retreated behind landing on a building.

Jumping in the air, Lucci's performed four consecutive Rankyaku that flew straight at Edam in the shape of four swirls.

[Rankyaku: Leopard tail!]

Swing! swing! swing! swing!

Meanwhile, Edam only looked at this with a certain calmness as he slowly lifted his hand to the side and thrust it in the void seemingly grabbing something.

His hand seemed to disappear into the vacuum and then right at where he struck, space started to mysteriously distort and swirl around.

Humm!

He pulled his hand back and what came out of the void was a fully black colored sword, rather simple and not so flashy in appearance, apart from the fact that it seemed to suck the light around.

He drew it out of the scabbard with his eyes still on Lucci's attacks. Although the way he did so was rapid and swift, it felt weirdly slow.

The blade was entirely dark-grey shining a very mystical light while the space all around the blade seemed to vibrate faintly.

Holding the sword firmly with one hand, he slashed it vertically in Lucci's direction.

Slash!

Following this, a gash in the atmosphere appeared as the two attacks came in collision and...

Slewp!

There were… no explosions… and no shockwaves…

Nothing… like literally nothing happened at all, when both of the attacks came in contact the gash closed up and disappeared into nothingness.

Lucci who was in the air was stunned at that. 'What the hell was that?!' He landed on the ground and glared at Edam who had planted his sword in the ground. 'It looks like Blueno's devil fruit…'

"So you're a devil fruit user too, you canceled my attacks…" After he said that he once again launched himself at the young marine captain and sent a barrage of punches.

[Madara!]

Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Shoo…!

With the least necessary movement, Edam dodged his punches and kicks with the sword still in his hand.

"Grrr argggh!!!!"

However, Edam lifted his sword and slashed once again.

Swing!

This time, similar to a Rankyaku, a cutting pressure flew toward Lucci who easily avoided the slash.

"Very well…I shall show you the ultimate technique which only those who have full mastery over those arts can execute!" With a cold glare, he for the third time returned in front of Edam.

A Rankyaku flew straight at Edam but before it touched him it suddenly changed its direction toward the ground.

As he arrived in front of Edam, both his fists were already resting a centimeters away from his stomach area.

'...?' Edam's eyes followed his hands' movements as he glanced at Lucci's arms with curiosity.

Interesting… I never heard about this ultimate move...

A surprising amount of pressure rapidly gathered around Lucci's fists.

With a cold gaze, Rob Lucci uttered.

[Maximum ring: Six King Gun!]

A heavy and strident sound reverberated as all the pressure in his fists were projected forward with a formidable momentum.

The pressure blast was so strong that it completely got through Edam's body continuing further behind.

Lucci's smile widened. "Heh, so how is it-...?!" 

However, his smile rapidly faded away when he saw Edam's body turning blurry and vanished in the air.

His first reaction was obviously to back off and glanced everywhere.

'An after image?!' He looked on shocked and then heard a voice.

"Am here snail-man…"

The guy was leisurely flying in the air looking down on him.

"That was an interesting technique there, Six King Gun…" Edam smirked with a bit of enjoyment in his eyes.

"You…" Rob Lucci looked at him with surprise and a bit of disbelief in his eyes just like the majority of the people present in fact.

"You can fly-..."

Swish!

"Oh right, take this back, you can call this a "full counter" I guess…" Edam appeared in front of him interrupting him before slashing his sword horizontally.

A gash in space opened up again as four swirling blades of wind flew out of the said gash.

He hardened his body and endured his own attacks.

Due to the commotion, even more people start to gather and watch the fight.

The crowd expression was a feast to the eye, their eyes could pop out at any time.

However Edam didn't stop at that at all, at the moment where Lucci was defending against, he had already moved again.

His sword was nowhere to be seen, as he burst like a missile at Lucci and violently sent a powerful and heavy uppercut in his stomach.

Bang! "Blurgh!"

Edam then grabbed his face and threw him far away in the distance flying 100 meters or so away as he appeared above him to grab his head again and…

Slam! Boom! He ruthlessly slammed his head in the ground, creating yet another crater.

And then, 

A massacre followed, literally… This wasn't a fight anymore… it was a one-sided beating, clearly…

The leopard man basically became a punching ball for the Monkey Prince, his face was paying the price.

Lucci was completely overpowered by the crazy guy in front of him. Whenever he would attempt to do something, that guy would break his momentum before restarting his combos.

Some people from Rob Lucci's team wanted to intervene but they were flung back by Edam himself as if ants were against a mad Berserker.

This scene was an eye-opener for a lot of people.

In fact, even Edam's team members were stunned, quite shocked to see Edam fight in this way. It was so savage and brutal, not an image that they would easily ȧssociate with him… 

But for a certain reason, it felt so right to see him fight like this… although no one knew why…

The last time he fought like that was when they had a small fight and they tried to defeat him by targeting his tail. They, against all odds, succeeded… but then as if they had awoken a Monster, Edam slaughtered everyone until they were all half dead...

It was only after a certain amount of time when Lucci's face was drenched in blood that Edam slowly came to a stop.

His foot was already on his neck pressing him down.

Rob Lucci tried to get up but his opponent would increase the pressure.

"Blurgh…!" He spouted out blood as his consciousness started to fade but held on as he glared at Edam hatefully.

"Heh~..."

Seeing this Edam smiled faintly at this and loosened his foot to speak.

"I have to say that you are a great warrior indeed, so let me show you something to send you off…"

With that said, he suddenly grabbed Rob Lucci's head, gripping him by the face with his right hand before lifting him in the air.

He smiled with his white teeth showing with two pointy ones.

At the time it felt frighteningly evil…

His eyes also flashed a quick and pale golden light.

"How was it again? Ah right…" His voice fell before he muttered.

[Six Powers Extreme…]

The beaten Lucci's eyes widened in disbelief at those words but didn't dare to believe it.

'This… this is impossible…! He's bluffing! Six King Gun cannot be executed with one hand!'

[Maximum Ring...] Pressure started to crazily gather in his hand with a heavy sound.

"I just happened to learn those Martial Arts too, what a coincidence…"

And what looks like fear even appeared in the depth of his eyes as Edam finished his line.

[Six King Gu-...]

"Edam..."

"...Stop... do you want to kill him…?" An elderly and indifferent voice resounded from behind.

The little monkey instantly recognized this voice, how could he not… it was granny Tsuru.

"...He showed some really bad intent toward my friend earlier…" Edam spoke without turning around and not letting go of the guy.

"Sigh, just let him go for this time alright? Killing one of them is a lot of trouble…"

"..." Edam looked at Rob Lucci's in his hand for a few seconds, feeling a bit reluctant. "Sigh…"

Pah! "Alright…" He let go of the guy letting him fall to the ground.

Seeing this, people started to sigh in relief until they heard Edam's voice again.

"However… you will still pay the price…" A cold light flashed in his eyes.

Crack! Crack!

"Argh!!!!"

Edam used his foot to ruthlessly crush Lucci's knees.

"You! What have you done?!" Spandam yelled furiously as he watched his best element being incapacitated.

"Why did you do that…!? I thought you were letting him go?!"

"Well, he tried to kill my friend so I will take his legs as compensation…" Edam spoke calmly as if he didn't do anything much.

"And it's not that much… his devil fruit powers should heal him quick… what's the deal…" 

Yeah quickly, a few months at least...

"You…!" A vein popped on Spandam's forehead and he gritted his teeth. That kid doesn't have any respect or consideration for his seniors or what?! He didn't even bother to turn around.

His team which was supposed to flex in front of all the Marines, were completely humiliated today. Although no one laughed (yet), they were sure to become a laughing stock after this day.

CP9's best warrior and ȧssassin was beaten black and blue by a kid of about fifteen years old…

Just this thought sufficed to piss Spandam off. But what could he do, he was weak and could only order people around thanks to his dad. Rob Lucci could take on CP9's entire team all by himself and defeat them, so what about someone who could beat Rob Lucci easily right?

It was with a trembling body that Spandam commanded some people to take Lucci away.

Turning toward Edam he spoke. "Young man, you should give some face to your seniors-..."

"I don't like you, so I will keep these faces for me alright…?" Edam interrupted and walked far away. He didn't know why but he just couldn't stand this guy at all… Was it his face? His personality? Who know… perhaps both in fact.

"...Good, Good…" Spandam trembled even more with a malevolent gaze that he quickly hid away and stormed his way out of here.
