One Piece: The Eldest Brother

After having been promoted to the rank of captain, Edam made the encounter of the three other members of his Ship to-be, a light blue haired female cat minks named Nekoe and a brown reddish haired male dog minks named Inue, both of them were rival or something.... As people from the minks races and top rankers they were undoubtly talented fighters of course.

"Hello to you two, Nekoe, Inue, I will be your captain from now on. Let's get along." Edam nodded at both of them with a faint smile to which they both replied.

"Yes ! Nya/Whaf !"

The two of them being from the North regiment and members of the minks tribe they knew Zaz personally and so of course knew of Edam's existence.

And lastly a very small human... but when one say small it really was a miniature human-like guy with a fluffy tail in the back with a very shubby and roundy body.

"Well hello, you should be a dwarf from the Tontatta tribe is it ? My name is Monkey D. Edam, a pŀėȧsurė to meet you buddy !" Edam crouched down and smiled to the guy.

"Eh ? O-Oh yes me too... Uh my name is Shion..." The dwarf looked surprise at first. And that was because he heard some bad rumours about Edam saying that he was a violent "Tyrant" or something but well seeing him face to face clearly tell otherwise.

"Nice to meet you Shion, I will be your captain from today onward." Edam put his thumb up.

"Uh yes sir..." Shion replied awkwardly. Sure enough all those rumours were a misinterpretation caused by people witnessing Edam beating up Raffe and so labelled him as a Tyrant instead of the latter.

"Alright." Edam nodded and stood up.

After getting acquainted with each other they began to speak about their passion, dreams, and abilities to deepen their relationship and understand each other strong points and weak points.

Inue the canine minks was a strong and burly dog minks who was quite proeficient in using Electro and also happened to be a spear user.

Nekoe the feline one was more of an agile type and like Inue was proeficient in using Electro. Her arm of choice was a bow, she was an archer.

Lastly, Shion the dwarf was... well, if being small is considered to be a power then his power was to be small but obviously if he was a top rankers it couldn't only be that. He had a devil fruit too, a zoan type call sheep-sheep fruit.

It would have been cute in another hands maybe but Shion had a very unique to use this fruit of his. A nickname of his is "The wolf in sheep clothing !" or "Poisonous cotton !"

Then, a week passed since Edam was bestowed the rank of captain and their unit were officially formed.

A small battle private fight was organized during the week to decided who would become the second-in-command. The Tyrant Raffe lost against Kuina, Kuina won against Leo but she lost to Zaward making the Northern Wolf the second-in-command with the rank of, Lieutenant commander !

Meanwhile all the other ones were given the minimum ranks of petty officers.

This ridiculous special unit rapidly became the hot topic in the training camp as well as in Marineford too. Many high officers were against the creation of such a things due to things like racism... but what came back the most was the fact that making a fourteen-fifteen years old youngster (and a non human at that) without any experiences a Captain at the command of eight other non humans was said to be a rash and idiotic decision from the High Marine Council.

And as a certain Admiral (Akainu) too was against the formation of such a thing, those who didn't want to see this of course allied themselves with him to roadblock this thing. Those were mostly those who feared that this unit power as small as it was right now would eventually grow to a point where none of them could possibly take care of it. After all we are talking about one single ship consisting of the best geniuses the training camp has nurtured quietly for three long years and most of all the grandson of none other than Monkey D. Garp himself !

Just this fact made all those absolute justice carrier dread the future already...

But too bad for them, another admiral (Aokiji) and a certain hero along with a certain instructor as well as multiples of other high officers found the idea of forming one special unit to be kind of interesting and so were in favor to it because this Rainbow unit was a symbol of races equality itself something that Moral justice carrier approved of.

The small conflict was kind of tense...

So to split the difference, Sengoku the one with the most authority announced that since the problem was mostly related to their experience on the battlefield, this Rainbow unit would be test on a real life situation. After all, this unit like any other had to start from somewhere right ?

So today, Edam's entire crew were called out to receive their very first mission to carried. A mission they had been waiting for with expectation as well as a little bit of fear too.

Meanwhile, Edam was currently out of his "house" training his body by doing push-up while he wear the gravity bracelets on his four limbs with a load of more than 2 tonnes on his wrists and ankles as well as a huge 2.5 meters tall boulder on his back. He wore a black pants without a top to talk about and no boots or shoes on his feet.

'3466 !'

'3467 !'

'3468 !'

He was completely drenched in sweat, gritting his teeths as he pushed himself up nonetheless.

'346-...!'

"...?" Edam abruptly stopped his train of thought and push up motion to glance to the side to see Zaz standing not that far away dressed in plain clothes under a Marine officer's coat beffiting his rank.

"Heh ! What do you need second-in-command ?" Edam grinned and laughed softly but still continued his push-ups.

'3469 !'

"Hey, come on I was tasked by the old geezers to get you, It's time to proove them our worth !" Zaz was excited as he spoke.

"Oh so it's today huh... Wait a sec..." Edam said before pushing up one last time.

'3470 !'

"Phew..." He breath out slowly before standing up.

Boom ! The huge boulder lost its balance and fell to one side.

He then slowly stretched his limbs adjusting at the same time the gravity weights to nil.

Fortunately (or Unfortunately) no girls was there to witness his nȧkėd upper body... Saying that his body was carved by God himself seemed to be no exageration at all.

"Wait I have to take a shower." Edam said and rushed inside his cave to do so.

Zaz thought of something and shouted. "And take your coat !"

*Five minutes later*

After a quick shower he walked out with a white colored coat in his hand and a top covering his body this time around. Strangely his clothes seemed to hide his god's like body that could make nearly any girls be head over him.

As they were then gone toward their destination, they spoke about this and that...

"You're not putting your coat on ?" Zaz asked.

"I will put it later alright.. " Edam responded uncaringly.

"Sigh... Anyway... did you see the News ?" Zaz asked.

"What News ?"

"There's a new pirates crew who show up recently, their very first appearance has shocked quite a few people, it is said that every sea men who will encounter this crew is doomed to roam the seas as stone sculpture forever..." Zaz said glancing at Edam.

"What ?" Sure enough he was surprised for a second.

"Yep stones sculptures, ring a bell ?"

"Wait do you mean that..." He then asked with a wry smile.

"Yeah... It's said that this crew is entirely composed of women and that the captain is a very young girl of about sixteen or maybe seventeen years old of age... She goes by the name of Boa Hancock."

"..." Edam stayed silent for a moment and then...

"Pfff...! Hahaha..." Edam burst in a hearty laugh for who know the reason.

"You... Why are you laughing this isn't even funny..."

"...Ah... yes that's true... but still, it's been so long since I've actually saw her... She was so frail and cute before... I can't believed that she became a captain pirate, she never told me haha..." Edam explained and laughed a bit.

"..." Zaz pondered a bit and said.

"Well you know she petrified an entire Navy ship in her first compaign earning herself a bounty of eighty millions of berry on her head already... She's nigh as insane as you..."

"Aouch... She became that strong...?" Edam whispered with a smile.

"That's the only thing you have to say..." Zaz looked at this buddy of his deadpanned.

"Oh right... some people saw her and took a photo to make her a wanted poster... too bad I don't have the wanted poster..."

"Really...? And ?"

"Well... they say that she was the most beautiful creature they saw in their life..."

"Ah..." Edam was speechless...

"The future seems so bleak for you partner..." Zaz sighed and joked as he pat him on the shoulder.

Edam in contrast smiled faintly and jab his ċhėst. "Haha then I will just have to make it bright I guess ?"

Before long they finally arrived at the building to get the details of their very first mission. They entered a sort of conference room and...

"You're late !" Kuina and Raffe complain.

"It didn't even start..." Edam replied and glanced to everyone still here.

"For the captain and second-in-command to come this late tsk tsk..." Leo said with a deapan expression.

"Hey hey hey calm down now, its not good for your shell..."

"F*ck you..."

"Hello Nya/Whaf !"

"Hello Inue, Nekoe..."

"Good morning Captain, Lieutenant." Shion greeted.

"Shion..." Edam nodded in his direction.

The others like Mickey, Donny were mostly quiet or just enjoying the happy noise.

And the officers to detail the mission was Vaughn, the Vice-admiral Momonga as well as the Captain Hina.

"Good, so let's detail this mission quickly..." He paused before continuing.

"Your objective will be to arrest the maximum of a certain group of pirates named the Devil's worshippers originating from all around the world... And as you may or may not know, this religious group made it's appearance after the emergence of the God's Slayer from three years ago..."

Edam "..."

"Anyway, due to unknown reasons they made their appearance and recently claimed to be the disciples of this God's Slayer..."

Edam "..."

"If they were only worshipping him, it wouldn't an immediate problem but we recently discover that this sect happened to be making animals sacrifices in the name of this God's Slayer."

Edam "..."

"...It first started with goats, then cows, and now we found out that they planned to make a mass sacrifices of humans beings somewhere at an archipelago named Conomi islands..."

Edam "..."

"Their acts cannot be tolerated anymore... but be aware that their groups may possibly be devil fruit users so be carefull."

"For this mission your unit will be oversees by the vice-admiral Momonga and myself. Your unit will also have the help of the captain Hina if needed. If the mission were to go in an unexpected way, we will take actions in that case..." Vaughn said indifferently.

"...This is a mission to arrest pirates, but one to proove yourselves too, so do your best !"

"Now go and prepare !"

They were then led toward the port where three huge warships were ready to depart.

"So this will be my ship..." Edam watched the ship with emotions in his eyes and wondered if he could modified later on to suit his likes.

Edam's unit members then embarked in the same ship as the captain Hina.

"Edam-kun you will be the one to command the entire operation, Hina will only offer her help if you need it while the Vice-admiral will follow from far away." Hina said with a nod at him.

"Alright, thanks Hina-nee." Edam thank her before he turned toward everyone.

Putting on his Justice coat he gave the order.

"Let's set sail guys !"
