Some new people who didn't knew a single thing about Edam voiced out their surprise at the appearance of this strange person on the throne.

"Who's this ?"

"Uh hey Osefa-sama who's this guy ? He's flying ? What the hell is those golden balls in the sky ?"

"He... he is... he is known as "The anomaly in the equation", "The Monkey Prince", or "The Northern Prince" or even "The Damn copycat" !" Osefa said clearly frightened. "Why did no one told me that he was participating...?"

In actual facts, not just Osefa but most people present and near enough to see Edam wore weird faces as if they saw a ghost or something.

"If the previous guys I introduced are monsters then that guy is those monster's top of the cream... he's as far as I know the most powerful minks in the North, having won 24 times the grand crown... a true anomaly !"

What ?!!! 24 times ?!!!" That frightening number was just too insane for them to comprehend... Most people here never had even won a single crown small or grand alike yet so hearing this insane number of wins was blowing up their common sense already.

Having won 24 times the grand crown... They clearly understood where the title of Northern Prince came from.

"Everytime he participate, he would wipe out everyone, from his regiment or not he doesn't care at all..." Normaly the GCC and SCC are also called Regimental Competition due to the fact that the two regiments would mostly attacked the opposing regiment and not their's first but Edam seemed to say... F*ck it to this "tradition".

"And... and so uh what is this devil fruit ?" Some people asked.

"...Well no one know... he never revealed which one it was, there are a lot of suppositions but nothing conclusive..."

"Oh..."

While the majority were mostly speaking about Edam, the four major participants that were a minutes ago competing over the crown rushed at the sitting guy in question.

The first one to get near him was surprisingly Raffe who was supposed to be the slowest of them all. But it was mostly because he rushed up at the first sight of Edam.

"Give me that !" He was in his "Gigalo" form as he jumped and punched at him destroying the throne to pieces.

Boom !

But of course Edam just avoided the punch with a quick jumped in the air but Raffe growled angrily and continued to press on him in vain as Edam avoided everything with ease.

With a strong stance he deflected Raffe's fist swiftly to the side making him stumble a bit as Edam grabbed his arm, slightly turned his own body, lift him up thanks to Raffe lost balance and then with a hard hand violently threw Raffe huge frame, back on the ground.

Crack...!

Slash ! Swish ! But before it could touched him he blocked the blade with his forearm using his Armament Haki.

'Hmm what a beautiful weapon sigh I want one too...' Edam thought with a sigh and shook his head.

"...Hey, Is this how you greet a friend you didn't see after so long ? How long was it again ? Two month or three ?" Edam pretend to be shocked and asked.

"Hmph ! You never bothered yourself to visit though... now give me the crown...!" Kuina said and then slashed again but he dodge it by a hair strand.

"Heh ! Catch it if you can..." He smirked and then asked. "Oh now that I think about it where is Tashigi-...?"

But then, while he was speaking he suddenly felt all the fur of his tail stand on their ends as...

SLASH !

Kuina "...?" She too didn't get what happened.

...Without warning a metal stick seemed to materialised itself out of the void and strike for his ribs right side where one of his "weak points" were.

'...Armament !' Edam thought and was quick enough to use his Armament Haki to block the stick with his other forearm glowing black.

Peng !

The sound of metal clashing rang out as Edam pushed the ȧssaillant back and sent a powerful kick backward sending the sneaking guy flying a few meters away.

And surprisingly it was Donny !

Leo and Raffe's brother... He wore a pair of weird looking glasses and a violet scarf. After he received Edam kick, his body was strangely turning from invisible to completely visible. He was holding a wooden stick in his hands.

"Donny ?" Raffe exclaimed while standing on his two feet a bit surprise by his brother's appearance.

"Oh Donny... I was actually wondering about where you were too, where is Mickey ?" Edam asked with a delighted surprise on his face.

"Tch this beast sense of yours is still as annoying as ever... As for Mickey, we split up a few hours ago so I don't know what happened to him..." Donny grumbled as he lowered his wooden stick.

"...Truth be told you nearly touched me..." Edam admit.

"But I didn't..." Donny made a deadpan expression and asked. "Whatever now that you're talking about it, you're kind of slower than usual, Is the lack of practice finally weighing down on you ?" Donny said curious.

"Oh not at all, I have some weights on me right now, and hey I was meditating which count as training don't get it wrong alright ?"

"Yeah yeah is that so anyway, some weights ? What are you talking about ?"

"These things, I ordered and bought them recently, quite cool..." He show the gravity weights on both his wrists and ankles to Donny which was indicating 100 written on each of the bracelets. Though there weren't any units to precise it, you didn't had to be a genius to understand what it means.

"Sigh... I give up..." Donny surrendered without Edam doing anything at all.

"So soon ?"

"I was planning to take the crown and go into hiding but with the intensity of the battle around it I couldn't do anything other than wait but then you had to take it... my only advantage against you is my fruit surprise effect but it failed, there's no point anymore..."

Edam laughed wrily at that. "Still as straight as ever huh... well I don't know what to say..."

Not saying anything anymore Donny then indifferently pressed every weak points and disappeared in the woods going invisible as he walked in. The various officer of the event observing the battles through the devices would then right after calculate everything that had to be calculated and gave points and all.

At that Edam smiled and glanced around as he saw that a lot of people started gathering about.

There was a human-like-form Raffe, Kuina and a lot of people all around gathering out of curiosity or greed for the crown.

"Now, now, how should we solved this I wonder..." Edam said and waited for people to make up their minds. Unknown to the people, their response would affect his future action, if they were to take action against him right now then... hehe... it would be better in his opinion...

And sure enough people kept whispering things here and there.

"Should we team up against him ?" A random guy said to another random guy.

"Maybe we should try to team up with one of the champions ?"

"Yeah right after no matter how strong he is he can't possibly defeat all of us right ?"

"S, sir, sir Raffe do you want to-...?" A random guy nervously tried to team up with Raffe but...

"F*ck off trash ! I don't need your help to get him !" Raffe said and started to run forward like a mastodonte.

"Ye-...Yes...Sir !"

"..." The random then asked Kuina. "What about you senior Kuina ?"

"No thanks..." An indifferent reply greet them as she too started to rushed at Edam.

"..." Random...

"If teaming up against him was all it takes to bring him down then we would have defeat him long ago, stupid..." Osefa commented softly.

Edam seeing the both of them coming again he couldn't help saying. "... Let's do this..."

But as if it wasn't enough that the two were against him, a huge thing rapidly flew in the sky toward him while another fast white shadow came from the ground. Those were of course Zaz and Leo, who were the furthest away from the throne.

"I kind of feel bullied now..." Edam commented and laughed softly at this sight of every of his friends rushing at him with no intention to talk about the weather. Whats a tragedy indeed... All of them were dead set on taking the crown.

"Absolute Mountain Crusher !" Raffe being the first to rush shouted as his body expanded even more than usual and punch.

"One Sword Style: Supreme White lotus !" Of course Kuina didn't want to lose too so she too unsheated her sword as fast as lightning.

"Great Tempest of the East !" Leo flapped his wings forward and a mini storm mixed in with his shapr feathers flew in a devastating attack directly toward Edam.

"Tyr's arm !" Zaz turned from a werewolf appearance to a full-fledge wolf and bit off the air ?! Yes ! the air was literally getting torn off, rip off into multiple scars in the air that flew at Edam.

Edam smiled wrily as a golden barrier slowly covered him. "This isn't a competition anymore guys... those are clearly your killing moves there..."

"...But meh... Bring it on, I'm your man..." he said with a smile and took a firm step forward as all of their attacks collided with his "Vital Shield".

His appearance as he wore the crown and face them all alone was rather awe inspiring for the spectators. Even those officer and higher grade felt something out of this.

Bam...! The shock and clash of so many attack against Edam's Vital Shield first resulted in a powerful shockwave that sent everything fly away from rocks to trees, and then a terrible sinking of the ground down.

Boom...!

But soon even his Vital Shield began to collapse under so much pressure on it.

Crack ! The cracks spread out like a plague all over his Shield.

But before it actually shattered, Edam lifted up his hand in the air, muttering quietly with eyes closed.

[Come forth... And destroy them all !]

And with a grabbing motion in the air, as if he was actually grabbing onto something, he violently pulled his grasping hand down to earth with a tearing sound...

[Heaven pearls: Sky Fall !]

And...

Rumble...!

...The air began to vibrate... albeit softly... but it still tremble as from the sky hidden by the clouds, countless golden balls of light began to fall off from the sky like a rain of golden drops and turned the battlefield into a mess with small explosion ranging out everywhere.

Each of these drops were heavy and hard enough to badly hurt anyone who were caught off guards disabling them from fighting again.

Some unfortunated one had all their weak points hit while they were dodging or protecting themselves.

...

"Ahhh ! Run, run !"

"No ! I didn't got a single point yet !"

"Sh*t !"

...

The innumerable golden missile stroke most of the people present at the throne place. As they were nearly all gathered to watch the fights, a lot of passerby were neutralize and unfortunately in the GCC If you are unable to fight for more than ten minutes, you are automaticaly eliminated and although Edam would only gain one points instead of a full three for their elimination he didn't care that much.

(A/N: Hey don't know if I actually precise that each weak points count for one point ? If not then here it is...)

As for Zaz, Kuina, Raffe and Leo, all of their attacks were completely disrupted but still managed to break Edam's Shield in the end.

But the collapse of the Shield released a powerful explosion that pushed them back twenty meters away and with the golden rain going on, they didn't had any time to attack again and had to defend themselves against it.

...

It was only minutes later that the golden rain stopped to fall and that every one could breath a bit.

Edam who was facing them smiled at that and closed his eyes again and focused.

And as he did so, his Ki surge out of his body like a faint red smoke-like veil exuding out a tyrannical aura for a split second before turning entirely golden in color becoming so much gentler than before as he muttured once again...

And after that a one side fight took place...
