Looking at these bracelets, Edam took a small piece of paper that was placed beside the bracelets.

"Hum ? Oh there is a note..." Edam said and then read it.

"Oh It's called... Gravity Weights... ? Hmm... I can change the weights of each bracelets... Wha-...? But... how did they made it ?" Edam asked and turned to Zaz with a puzzled face.

In response Zaz shrugged having no idea too. "How would I know aren't you the one who ordered those things ?"

"Yeah but I only asked for really, really heavy and normal bracelets, not something so High Tech, heck I don't want to know how much it cost..." Edam said a bit intimidated by the price of these Gravity Weights... He originally ordered for the cheapest but heaviest bracelets that they could possibly make but who would have thought that they would go to such an extent...

Putting those thoughts in the corner of his mind, Edam then reached out a hand to take one of the bracelets and...

"...Oh..." He exclaimed softly seeing that it was quite heavy. Looking at the bracelets he noticed that some numbers were pointing that it currently weigh up to a total of 100 kilograms or so.

He then followed the instruction and tried to increased the weight's heaviness and with no surprise at all the bracelets worked just like how it was supposed to be.

Putting the two ankle bracelets and the two wrist-band, he adjusted the bracelets up to 350 kilograms to start and tried to move around. Each bracelets weighing about 350 kg on his four limbs he now had a total of 1,4 tons weighing on his body.

"Wow..."

Now, Edam was really feeling it right now even he who was inhumanly powerfull could feel every of his muscles and cells having a quite massive strain on it.

He then lowered the weights to 100 kg each bracelets.

"... Alright..." He said and gave a couples of punches and kicks out in a set of particulars moves and then relaxed with a huge breath out before taking a glance at Zaz who was comfortably lying in his/Edam second favorite comfy chair reading a book named "Super Dragon Wish" or something like that...

"Hey let's go..."

"Hm ?"

"We will miss the ship you know..."

"...Damn it... wait, wait I don't have this volume..."

"Come on, I will let you borrow it later..."

When they got out of the cave, Edam then asked. "Hey what about Cyera and Kyara ?"

"Cyera is sick and can't go and Kyara is taking care of her..."

"Oh... alright..."

They thereafter left for the port situated at a certain place of the island.

On the spot already, people were going up on the ship by showing their cards and pass.

But compared to during the gathering, there were now so much fewer persons present amounting to about twenty or thirty persons.

Edam and Zaz got no problem to board the ship and quickly joined the turtles brothers who were aready on it and half an hour later their ship depart while the other ship was still behind as they had a lot more students to take.

As everyone chat while waiting, they were informed by two officers of what was the competition like in depth. To the surprise of some people but not many in fact, Vaughn was the current commander with the highest authority aboard.

And the situation was like that, there is actually two competition in which one can go for. One is casually called the "minor crown" and the other the "greater crown" obviously.

And the goal as state by Vaughn is to take the crown in a battle royal while wearing a special suit with three weak points on which one had to hit, punch, kick, or "grasped". (A/N: In short, My hero academia's idea but no orange ball)

There was nothing that really differentiate the two battle test in their basic foundation, but the rewards one could get at the end was however quite different...

The first time Edam took the crown, he won a special ticket to dine freely for an entire month at a certain restaurant called "Baratie" which served divine-like dishes... truly... with a service being really funny yet lightning-fast... such a cool restaurant...

And so since his first victory, Edam won again and again and again, for two consecutive years reaching a never before seen track record of twenty four victories... bathing in a sea of foods for months.

...Untill everything crumbled away... The restaurant didn't offered any of those tickets anymore...When they were asked why, their reply was...

"It's not good for business..."

But of course restaurant's ticket obviously aren't the only things to win. If not what would be the point right ? There were in fact, a huge sum of money as well as a lot of privileges that one could gain from it, like training under a vice-admiral or even an admiral for a full month, going to the Marine five star hotel, etc... anyway to make it short there were countless things that you could get.

But the thing is that it's like a mystery box, no one know what he would get at the end. But a certain rumour say that the now revered and idolized Marine captain Hina obtained her devil fruit in this competition and this pushed a lot of students to compete fiercely in hope of obtaining one for themselves to change their destiny.

And as there are two way to win, eliminate everyone and take the crown, or hold onto the crown and wait for the event to end.

After a while their ship reached a small hilly island and they slowly berthed somewhere as everyone got down but were told not to wandered around as they had to wait for the other ship.

From a huge distance, one could already see multiple weird things flying up in the sky above the island's forest. It was some flying surveillance Den Den Mushi.

Soon enough the other ship arrived berthed on the other side of the island as the officer responsible of taking care of them, Vaughn, began to speak in his natural cold voice.

"Everyone of you will be given five minutes of relief to do whatever you want to, after that the exam will definitely begin and then end in five hours. Good luck." He said indifferently without any care in his voice.

At the sound of his announce, every persons present, with some experiences like Zaz, the various seniors, and the turtles brothers included scattered around and rushed deep into the island, watching everyone around them with a wary gaze, fortunately the island was big enough for all twenty, thirty of them.

Before long no one was present anymore on the ship's location apart from Edam who didn't really moved and just walked around and sat crossed-legged in a corner. When everyone rushed out a moment before, nearly everyone were looking at him as if he was a pest to avoid...

Should he laugh or cry ? That is the question...

Meanwhile Vaughn was looking at some screen displaying various students running while some peoples seemed to be writing some things down on their papers, some notes.

Seeing that Edam didn't left Vaughn glanced at him and spoke.

"Don't stay here Edam, go on like the others and do your best... or at least try and pretend..."

"Hmm... It's not like I don't want to but grandpa asked to wait a bit longer before acting..." Edam shrugged as if he didn't care but his legs were restless.

Vaughn sighed gently and thought. 'We've reached this point huh... asking him to hold back...this is nigh ridiculous...'

Even the other officials were making wry faces as they looked at Edam, this troublemaker... exactly like how Garp used to be younger, up to one details that Garp was already twenty something back then while Edam is currently only fourteen little years old... a huge difference...

At one point he even closed his eyes and calmed himself for five minutes as one of the officers took a bazooka and shoot it in the air making a huge "Bang !" like sound signaling the true start of this battle royal.

And Edam slowly opened his now calm eyes, stood up and made his way in the forest.

"Hmm, let's check out the fruits..."

He walked leisurely in the forest for about half an hour without meeting anyone at all and began to feel quite lonely but fortunately he found some fruits to eat lifting his mood a bit. He could have simply used his enhanced senses but... meh... that's not funny... and so he only relied on his "beast sense" to detect dangers only.

As he wandered around like a fruit-eating ghost for a while, he suddenly heard sounds of steps coming from ahead of him and sure enough, the figure of someone, a human slowly came into his sight.

Crash...!

However Edam didn't even had the time to speak that the guy crumbled down on the ground as he struggled to crawl too desperate to flee it seems. The guy was hurt all over his body, bleeding from several spots.

Edam blinked his eyes as he looked at him and said.

"...Are you alright dude ? Uh I mean of course you're not alright but..." Edam said as he crouched down beside the said guy.

The stranger painfully lifted his head to look at Edam and tried to say something but his eyes rolled up and he fainted.

"...?" Edam tilted his head but then heard several sounds of footsteps coming from the same directions as the strangers came from and sure enough a dozen of humans came in front Edam and yelled.

"He's here ! he's here !" some random guys shouted out loud and pointed at the strangers.

"We caught him, he's done for !"

Then one of them pointed at the crouching figure of Edam and said.

"You ! Who are you, why do you protect him ?" The guy said loudly.

"..." Edam didn't bothered himself to reply and just glanced at him and inwardly thought.

'Oh is that a settlings of accounts ? Yeah should be...'

"Are you deaf or what ? Speak !"

"Hey would you reply ? Your mother didn't taught you how to speak or what ?" The guy said really rudely making his buddies laugh their ȧss off.

"Pfff ! Hahahahaha !"

"Ahahahaha...!"

"Gahahahaha..."

However unknown to anyone present, with this oh so simple but quite rude line followed by those laughters..., they didn't know it yet but...

They... f*cked... up !
