Naruto - A Cursed System

'I have seen a cursed spirit, all that's left is to find a jujutsu sorcerer. If I remember correctly, two schools taught sorcerers which are located in Tokyo and Kyoto. I'm in Tokyo, so it shouldn't be long before I find one. It's still only the first day, I have plenty of time to look for them,' Dango thought.

It had been half an hour since Dango left the possible grade three cursed spirit's territory. Currently, he was following Hex after it kept refusing to stay inside the backpack.

Dango's worries about meeting a sorcerer lessened when Hex brought him to a secluded neighborhood. Hopefully, they don't come into contact with any sorcerers while they're there.

*kronch kronch*

"Hm?" Dango turned towards the origin of the sound and saw Hex inside a hole it made who-knows-when.

"Hey! Don't dig random holes!" He grabbed the squirming centipede from its homemade hole. He was curious as to what it was eating and turned it around to face it.

Dango saw a broken skeletal finger that was quite small. It looked humanoid, specifically, it looked like a child's finger.

He merely stared at it unfazed and scolded Hex, "Bad Hex! You should know better! You shouldn't put things in your mouth if they were on the ground!"

Hex froze and looked directly into Dango's eyes. Its human-like eyes stared at Dango as if he was an idiot, a buffoon.

"Right... I forgot... My bad..." Dango apologized. He quickly changed the topic, "Anyways, is this why you came here? Why did you run so far for a bone? ... Oh!"

Dango finally realized why Hex chose this specific area. The area where the bone was dug up had lots of negative emotions. He was too distracted earlier to notice the negativity.

Now that he thought about it, he was sensing the presence of a few cursed spirits coming closer behind him; around three of them. From what he could tell, they had the same presence as Hex, likely grade fours.

If that was all, he would have started to attack them immediately. However, it wasn't just the spirits behind him. There seemed to be a human that the spirits were leeching off of.

Dango pretended to be ignorant of his surroundings and blankly stared at the skeletal finger. He then felt a hand grab his shoulder as a voice resounded behind him, "Little boy, where are your parents?"

He turned around to see a middle-aged man in neat attire. On his face was a kind, warming smile. He looked like the ideal neighbor someone would want.

But underneath all of that, Dango saw malice and ŀust.

Clutching his neck, head, and ċhėst were three spirits the size of a baby. They seemed to be crying as they distortedly said the same thing, "Mommy... Daddy... I want to go home... Please stop..."

Dango answered the poor man with a bright smile of his own, "I got lost. Can you help me find my mommy and daddy?"

"Oh no! Why don't you wait at my house while I try to look for your parents? Here, have a lollipop!"

"Okay!" Dango grabbed and started to lick the candy while thinking, 'Why did Jiraiya have a lollipop on him during a mission?'

The man led Dango into his house, which was near the area Hex dug up. When Dango saw the house, he sensed similar negativity to the previous area. His eyes slightly narrowed before returning to normal, he continued to act oblivious to the possible danger.

When they were inside, the man introduced him as Yoshi Okino (Yoshi = first name). Dango also told him his name; Naruto Uzumaki.

Less than two days later, Dango stood over a body, wiping the blood off his hand. His clothes were also dyed with blood.

"Yuck. I should be more careful and use gloves next time. Time to take a shower."

After half an hour, he quietly left the house with a centipede sleeping in his backpack.

And he disappeared and reappeared after half an hour in new clothing. He quietly left the house with a Hex inside his bag.

Weather: Heavy rain

Yoshi Okino's house was barricaded with brightly colored tape. There were several police motorcycles near the house as police officers entered and left the building.

There was a crowd standing nearby curiously whispering to each other as they watched what was happening.

"What happened to Mr. Okino?"

"Mr. Okino is dead!"

*gasp x100*

"I heard that too! My grandson is a police officer who saw the body!"

"Do you know what happened?"

"My grandson was too scared to tell me. When I asked his face turned green like a leaf!"

"Be quiet! Look! A teenager and young ȧduŀt male are entering the house!"

Silence quickly spread as they all gazed at the two male teenagers. They wore asymmetrical blue jackets with high collars. They also had two pins on the left side of the uniform that are engraved with a symbol.

They watched them entered the house and quickly gossiped among each other; creating theories as to why they appeared.

Inside the house, the teenager and the young ȧduŀt looked at the corpse.

The most noticeable thing about Yoshi Okino's corpse was that the head and ċhėst were pried open from the center. There were four holes, one in each of his palm and foot. Lots of his skin seemed to have been peeled apart like a grape. Asides from that, there were lots of cuts and missing bones and organs from the body. It looked like he was tortured to death.

The teenager quickly analyzed the corpse and his surroundings, "There are traces of multiple cursed spirits. I noticed four distinct ones, with three being similar to each other. He must've been killed by the spirits."

"There is also a weak residue of an unknown cursed tool on the body." The ȧduŀt brought up, "I don't think he was just killed by cursed spirits alone. Likely a curse user was involved, an expert one at that."

"A curse user? So close to the Gojo Clan's territory?"

"Yeah, it's probably someone who plans on ȧssassinating the Six Eyes. There's already a bounty on the kid's head. Must've gotten sidetracked and killed them."

"What do we do, sensei?"

"Let's try to trace down the curse user. If possible, let's also find the cursed spirits in case they weren't exorcised. If nothing comes up, we'll just put our findings in the report. I'll try to send a warning to the Gojo Clan."

"Okay!"
