Mystical Academy: The Mystery of the World

The pain I felt immediately fades away. I can hear the chirping of birds and the sound of the waterfall and blows of the winds through the leaves. So relaxing. Good for meditation. Last night, I saved Patrick yet I didn't get his mate. Now, I don't know where I am but it feels really relaxing.

There's also the sound of the frog and rustling of something… maybe the squirrels or bunnies. Or worse, lion or some wild animals. A soft thing perk on my nose tips. That's when I tried to open my eyes. A black and white and sparkling magenta wings. A worm? With wings? I sat up that makes the magnificent butterfly flew away.

"Oh snap!" I hold my temple, gently massaging it. I look around thinking that I am in a cold rain forest of our place. But everything around here are mystical, magical and tropical. The butterflies has huge wings and the chirping of birds are like a group of chorales. There are sparks flies around together with other bees.

I am no longer on the world where I used to be. Where found my love wondering around… this is now an Insideworld that they say. I felt my heart skip a bit and suddenly it beats louder and louder. Amanda… she's near. I have to look for her.

I felt a jolt of happiness, stood and pick up my crossbow. I pulls my phone from my pocket and there's no service, however it is working. So it is only true that I am already in the Insideworld. But where in the hell will I find her?

"I miss her dearly… for twenty years of waiting, now here I am." I close my eyes with a deep breathe in and out. I should have a plan. Or maybe I should just follow my instincts or wait for her to come to me. "Damn this is hard when you wanted to see her."

I am quite confuse on what really happened. Okay, I should refresh my mind and think on what really happened. Amanda gets into my dream and warns me about Marissa because her mad biological father wanted her to pull in here. Then, I followed them to protect Marissa and let them flew away from here. There's lots of Erian's warrior like they expected it to happen. And when Patrick is about to kill by the golden armored guy, I hit it directly to its neck. Kraig and Andrew where already fighting them when Patrick passed out and I follow Marissa and the other guys trying to catch them out.

Then, things happen fast. I saw a white hind and follow it and things get brighter and I was swallowed by the light and then my world turns black…

A sling sound of a metal makes me almost jump and a very sharp steel was pointed in front of me. Bayonet. Nice one. I look directly into the man's eyes, it was a color of deep black and his face was younger like twenties or eighteen I guess. Nope. Probably twenties.

"Uhm, hello." I greet him. He looked at me from head to toe.

"You are from the Outsideworld. What brings you here? How did you get in?"

He smirked and pull down his bayonet. I look at him from head to toe. He had two hilted bayonet on his boots and a sword at his back behind that cloak. He is also wearing a silver lace chains and an oblong pendant… which I think is a locket.

"What are you looking at?"

"If I attack you, and disarm you in four times; I won't survive."

"Of course you won't." he speak and then he speak in an odd singsong poem in front of me.

A brave one who is bounded

To the Princess who was born

After the death of the Goddesses.

And thy love conceived a Goddess

With a crossbow from the Outsideworld

"That's you, isn't it?"

"The brave one who is bounded to the Princess?" I asked him quizzically. "Well, I wanted to ask you really important thing before I answer that question. Can I?"

He raise his chin and sign me to keep talking so I did keep talking.

"Perhaps you know where the Kingdom of Psyche is."

"That's not a question." He cross his arms and cock his head.

"I am sorry, I will rephrase it. Do you know where the Kingdom of Psyche is?"

"Yes." Another jolt of excitement and happiness hits me.

"Can you show me the direction?"

"I won't." I slump my shoulders and grimaced at him. Really! This young man needs a lecture. "Ask me why."

"Why?"

"Because you are from the Outsideworld and I need to be sure that my Kingdom is safe from you."

"Alright, first of all, young man, I won't kill anyone here except that they threatens me and tried to kill me. Second, I need to see my soulmate. Do you know how hard it is when you are far away from your love?"

"I know. Because my soulmate dies in front of me."

That makes me really surprise. My eyes widens on his blurt or is he playing on me? That's not going to work on me.

"Is she hidden on that locket of yours?" he immediately hold his chest where the locket is hidden inside his fancy shirt. He smirked at me and tilt his head to the right. "You are son of Haji."

"Nope. I am not."

"The only man who can see metals behind the secured black box is Haji. And he lived long ago as a warrior of my family yet he disappeared with his wife."

"How do you guys get that kind of superpower?" I asked and look around to find an apple tree.

There's always apple tree that's why I go to it and climb and took one not waiting for his answer. "Do you want some?" I pull one and throw it to him and his reflexes was good so he caught it with one hand.

"You have blood and scratches on your clothes yet you are not wounded."

"Because it heals."

"How did it heals fast?" I bite on my apple while sitting on the big branch.

"Answer my question and I'll answer yours. How do you get that kind of superpower?"

"Our Goddess gifted us those kinds of gift."

"Her name?"

"Adhiti, she was called Adhiti yet she never show up here in our world unlike the other Goddesses."

That really makes me stop. Adhiti? That's the real name of Catastrophe. Perhaps they just have the same name. "Answer my question."

"How did I heals fast? Because someone close to my heart and soul heals it."

"Princess Amanda." My eyes totally dilated. "You are Princess Amanda's mate." I thought of his poem again and he knows it!

"You are a Prophet."

"A foreteller."

"That's the same thing! Are you close to my Amanda?" I jerk off from the tree and walk towards him.

"I am… quite… I lived for centuries and I am older than her." That's it! I suddenly feel close to my Amanda. Love, I'll come to you.

"No."

"Please… I just wanted to see her. I promise to find her."

He didn't speak for a while like studying me. My expression, my mind and my soul. It send an immediate shiver around my body. He freaks me out. Love, are people always like this in here?

"We have promises yet it always bend and breaks."

"What's your name, young man?"

"Calixe. Calixe Fiel."

"Odd name." I mutter. He raise his dark eyebrows on me. "What should I do in exchange?"

"I need you to go to your people and gather them."

"People?" I furrowed on him and he frowns at me. "I have no idea on what you are talking about."

"I will lead you to Princess Amanda. In exchange, you have to gather you people. Darkness is coming, they will take people's soul and their freewill to live like a marionette. A land will lifelessly, sulk and sob in pain. Each Goddesses and Gods who lived in Earth, will become Abyss's prisoner, take their power and enslave them. Love will dies in Earth, inside and outside the world we are living."

"Wow…" I was really baffled. I understand him… a little but I don't know abyss can be a name. And the marionette thingy is really dangerous and the soul-thingy. And love dies? Impossible. Love never dies.

"Are you going to take it a yes? You are Haji's bloodline which means you have the ability of being a warrior."

"If it is a way to have my love beside me. I will. First take me with her and you can tell me when we can start to find them."

"Let's make a contract." He extend his arm like he wanted me to take his open hand.

"I don't have paper and pen or laptop and printer."

"This is a contract." He pulls the sleeve of his silk shirt and I can see symbolic tattoos on his arm. God, I wish that this is right. I offer my hand and was about to make a handshake but he grabbed my lower arm instead and I mimic him and he gripped on me tight and a hot sensation comes from him goes directly into my veins.

He releases my arm and I lifted it in front of my face to see a silhouette of a dove on my pulse. I look at him with frown thinking that he just cursed me.

"It is a contract that I made. Blessed be!"

"Shall you take me to my love?"

"Yes. I shall." He turn back from me and he started walking. I run to catch up on him and stop and walk with him next to him.

"Where am I by the way?"

"In the boundary of Era."

"Era?"

"Yes." He throw me some thick rough cloak and when I unfold it, I glance at him.

"Did you predict that I am coming?"

"Yes." He utter.

"What else did you predict?"

"A special family will walk through the entrance to this world from your world." Patterson. That's what comes into my mind. "One who can read mind. One who can mesmerized, control things with his mind and see the past through the object that witnesses the events."

"Ohhh…" I put my cloak on after I settled my crossbow at my back. We walk in silence and I started to flashback the poems he told me. Something about me and my Amanda and a daughter. "Whose daughter are you talking about on the poem?"

"Your daughter."

Something makes me stop from walking and stare at him really dumb-numb and really confused. My daughter?

"Hurry up." I catch up on him.

"You said my daughter."

"Yes. You hear it right."

I have a daughter. My daughter and Amanda's daughter. She's here? I wished to see her too and embraced her and gives her a lots of kisses. My reason of living is because of my Amanda. And now, there's another reason to live. My daughter. I have a daughter and I have never been happier in my life.

"Is she with my Amanda?"

"Impossible."

"Why is it impossible?"

"The Princess brought her outside this world to save her from Abyss children and from his disciples."

"Sh-she's outside?"

"You should find it out in your own."

I have this feeling that my daughter is near me. Near my heart like my Amanda. I should live. I have to protect them. He put his fingers on his mouth and make a loud whistle. Two horses are running to us. Wow. They are really gorgeous. One is brown and one is black. They are groomed well and feed well.

"Thank gracious! I thought we are going to walk all the way there. I can't wait to see my love."

"The girl they brought in, you know her?" he asked me after he climb up the horse. I patted the black horse that was lend to me and climb up. I look at him and felt loneliness inside me. Patrick and Marissa will feel great pain.

"Yes, she was mated to the Mind reader. You know what I thought of this world?"

"What do you thought?"

"This world is full of greediness and people here are cruel."

He laugh at me and he look younger than he look.

"You are right. That girl, she never deserve to take here forcefully away from her future. But the mad King, wanted her to marry off for another power."

"That's not a good idea."

"That's bad for both of them."

"They don't deserve that. I was away from my love for years and here I am, getting close to her and had known that I had a daughter. I never wanted somebody to have almost exact tragic to happen to them."

"I lost my mate, she was killed in front of me. After that, my grieving inside me never stops but in my mind it did. They wipe out my memories of her so I won't break."

That makes me stop. Is he opening up on me? Does he trust me?

"Who killed her?"

"That's why they wipe my memories, for me not to point the person who killed her."

"I'm sorry."

"You should hear this. My mate was a Goddess born in a mortal's body that's why she dies. However, her soul never dies. Her death and other Goddesses' death bring catastrophe in each Kingdom. That's what Abyss wanted. And love brings pain to those who loved them dearly and eternally."

"Who is this Abyss?"

"He's the God of Darkness, pain, torture and chaos."

"He sound really scary."
