Mystical Academy: The Mystery of the World

My knees, wrists and arms are hurt. I think my wrists are bleeding. I call the earth to heal me and it is good as knew like it never been hurt before. I was about to enter the loophole of Era that leads to the place of my brother when I realized that my bracelet is gone. I clenches my fists, my blood rushed up my head, I am starting to get really mad.

If that human hasn't caught me, I could still have my bracelet. That bracelet is very special. It was from Princess Amanda, the highest Princess of all Princesses that even Queens and Kings bow down to her. She told me that it was the bracelet that will lead me to my soul mate. Soul mates? I never believe in such thing but she made me believe in that thing.

"Mira! Mira?" My brother, now what does he wanted?

I walk briskly inside the loophole and found him looking for me everywhere. I pull down my hood and cleared my throat. He turn to me a little bit flushed. Oh, no. He was really flushed. What did Adhiti did this time?

"Why are you looking for me?"

"I need your help." He immediately say and before he goes on, he looked at me from head to toe. "Did you just go out the…" he didn't finished it because I rolled my eyes which answers his question. I look down on my dress and it was a mess. I immediately remove all the dirt on my dress and face him. "Okay, so. You see, Adhiti in I has been inside the house for few days. I need to go back to the castle to do few more things and I have an appointment with Princess Amanda."

I nods with uh-huh. He scratches the back of his head getting really shy.

"Or you just wanted to take a breath from the tension with her? I can tour her around the town."

"Great. You know, she's quite annoyed on me. She's really annoyed because I left her."

"When is the wedding so you could settle this thing with her? I can help on the preparations."

"Let's not talk about weddings yet. It makes me really, really sick of nervousness."

I just laugh at him. This is my first time seeing my brother shy, nervous, worried and so on. He only show lovable affection on me, plus caring since I am his favorite sister.

I and my brother walk together to his cabin and found her sitting on the floor wearing my brother's over size casual top, with creased brows while patting fat cat murmuring to it. Or most like talking to it complaining to it about some shitty things going on.

"Love, Almira is here."

Adhiti only sigh and let go of the cat and stood. I smiled on how adorable she is though her clothes is unattractive and inappropriate for ladies. Adhiti gave me a tight smile and glare at my brother. Wow, she's intimidating, somehow. It is natural on her.

I heard both of them murmuring. She kept on complaining about him leaving her. She even threaten him that she'll totally sue him if he didn't come back on the said time he told. I heard few noisy kisses and giggling. I am sure that they can't just leave each other without doing that.

"Come on, now, Adhiti."

"Coming! I'll just wash my face."

After few moments, I am done on helping her putting the Saree and she complains on how really confusing on putting it on. Since it is very traditional and there's lot of things to put on. I put few colors on her face and on her lips. Her eyes is like camouflage. It changes colors or more like adapting the nature.

I help her put the scarf to cover her face and make her turn around to see if her tattoo at the back is showing since the top of the dress is showing a bit of her navel and back. My brother enters the room to get few things for his Prince-like clothes. He stop to take a look at her. She's busy on making herself beautiful. He mouthed me thank you and I just smile. He walk towards her, snaking his arms around her kissing her head.

"You are beautiful." He murmurs on her ears. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head as I walk off the room. Damn, these is making me really bit odd. I never seen these part of my brother. My other brothers are no much like him since, they all see is lust towards women.

They both get out and he give her one last passionate kiss on lips. I also fixed myself wearing the same kind of clothing as her and I manage to get two red velvet cloaks for both of us. I put few silvers, bronze and golds on my purse for our visit in the main town.

We took the carriage from my brother's stable. The guards didn't asked too much on our exit from the lands of the castle. Or more like, why I don't have guards with me. I just told them that my servant and I will have a secret tour around the Era. They don't asked more, since I always do that.

"I'm sorry if I have to tell them that you are my servant."

"It's alright." She said and enjoy riding the carriage. "I just wished that I have my Artemis with me."

"Who is she?"

"She's a horse. Pure white horse. I found her on the woods of our academy."

I nods on what she said. She's quite talkative. I just wished to have a sister like her. Since my sisters care all about men, the throne, power and much of beauty well, except for one sister. They say that men always love the view of having a beautiful wife with them, where women always serve his man. I wasn't that person.

"Are there bandits here?" sh asked out of the blue that makes me laugh.

"Well, yes of course."

"Last time, I was caught by bandits and they took me to prostitution only giving me a key. Damn, I kind-a, miss those guys. I don't expect that they would be so kind." She said it flat. I don't know if she's being sarcastic.

"Is that kind to you?" I asked her.

"Of course not, but at least they are the kindest among cruel." I laugh on what she just said. "Yeah, you could use on me being like that. But are you really sure that they won't notice me?" I grinned on her question. She's being funny.

"Have you take a look at yourself?"

"Yup! I did and your brother can't even harass me." I laugh really loud that makes my stomach hurt a little. "And for contrary, I bring a dagger with me, just in case."

"That's a bright idea of yours." I murmur and stop the carriage just right on the big three before the crowded town. We tied the horse on the branch of the tree.

"Don't go with any stranger but us, okay?" she told the horses that really amazed me and at the same time make me laugh. The horses blows air and scratch their foot on the grass. "Good then," she both kissed the nose bridge of the horses. "Let's go." She pulls the scarf over her nose and we both walk down from the hill.

There are lots of ladies, and knights walking around. The patrollers are just roaming, looking for something to buy or more like just looking around to action some crime if there's unpredictable.

We are on the road when there's an upcoming carriage on the high speed. Based on the designs carve of the carriage it is from the Kingdom of Hydōr. I am certain that it was Princess Wendy. She is actually seeing the Princess on our Kingdom. Somehow, I despite her attitude. Acting so sweet, alluring, and good girl in front of everyone. But her attitude is stinker than dead animals.

It is not time talking about her, because there's a child on the middle of the road at the age of nine. Unaware of the upcoming carriage. Before I had reacted, Adhiti blast running towards the boy. In a very fast movement, before the horse hits her, she had roll with the boy on the side. The carriage stops and scowl on them. The knights come running and bow their head in respect. I glare on the carriage seeing Wendy peeking with a disgust.

I didn't go near to Adhiti and let Wendy do her job in being a good girl. She open the door, hopping out the door and looked at Adhiti and the boy. Adhiti is gripping on her scarf while talking to the boy. She even know that the Princess is coming to Adhiti and the child. She look really worried but not really worried deep inside.

"Are you alright?" she was about to touch the child but Adhiti stood. I thought that she's going to beat her or something because her fist is getting white on the way she clench it. "Oh, I am so sorry. Are you hurt?"

The child bow down on her immediately but not Adhiti. Wendy looked at Adhiti who is probably staring at her. I saw how Wendy shivers on Adhiti's glare on her. Adhiti speak in some language that probably Wendy cannot understand. Even her voice seemed really strange.

"I beg your pardon?"

"Your highness." One of her escorts walk towards her.

"I'm really sorry, we are in rush. If that child is not on our way this won't happen." She walk off. When Adhiti speaks.

"Is that how you apologize?" that makes Wendy stops and make her turn to Adhiti slowly. "Oh, never mind. You are in hurry, are you?" she asked sarcastically. The people are all staring and even the vendors, moved away. Wendy flushes in embarrassment that pleasures Adhiti.

Wendy left with full of embarrassment on her face. I walk towards Adhiti when the knights of Era are talking to Adhiti. The knights are insisting on peeking on her eyes.

"Lady Gracey's tradition is different from others, brave warriors." I speak behind them, in my normal tune. They turn towards me and they put their strong fists on their chest and bow a little. "No one can ever see her face, besides of the man she'll marry. I hope you know that."

"We sincerely, apologize, Milady."

"Alright then, go back to your own businesses."

I pull Adhiti close to me, snaking my arms on hers and move my mouth close to her ears.

"I never seen her that embarrass in front of civilians." I said cheerfully. Adhiti giggles, happy on her simple revenge towards Wendy. "Now, we can't be here. Let's go on the other side of the town. There are beautiful headdresses and jewelries."

"Oh, seriously. I rather have jeans and sweatshirt."

I almost grabbed that cruel Princess's neck and choke her to death. Good thing that I am covering my reputation and hiding myself. I couldn't just show them my face. It will really surprise them a lot and my popularity will increase on the whole world.

Almira, look really happy on what I did back there to the Princess. Almira is somehow like Marissa. They both lessen the pain in my chest. They both makes me feel really better. I have been with Nick for almost a week, flirting and flirting with him. We almost did it last night. Damn him and that wedding! I should've got him there. Once we are really married, I won't let Eliza take him from me.

"Where is Nick going, by the way?" I asked Almira when I suddenly remember that question that I have been keeping in my mind. Nick only told me that he'll be on the castle duties and meeting someone.

"After he attend the meeting that will probably end in one hour, he will meet Princess Amanda somewhere here."

I should have to be jealous but I am not. Princess Amanda might be really beautiful and motherly-like caring too much about Nick.

"The freaky-princess is on her way to the castle right?"

"Uh-huh." Almira hesitated to answer my question. Now I know. Since Nick is really popular on girls, that freaky-ugly-attitude-princess might seduce Nick. Let's see if Nick would take her.

"Does Nick has been in relationship with that freaky-princess?"

"Yes." Almira answer and the look on her face tells that she is guilty on answering it.

"Really, when was that? Was it when I am gone?"

Almira sipped some air and breathed really deep like doubting herself, hesitating to tell me everything.

"Tell me, everything." I grinned at her.

She did tell me everything. Maybe because I was persistent towards her. I have to squeeze her a little bit for her to tell me details and here she is telling me everything.

"When my brother lost you, he really get depress. He became a bad boy, doing hisusual thing on sleeping with other girls for him to fall asleep. Mostly getting drunk all by himself ending in prostitution house. Most of the Princesses all over the kingdom. Since they like my brother so much."

"What makes them like him? What part of him?" I asked interrupting her a little.

"Because he's gentleman, sweet and romantic, brave and mostly because they say he's oozing in hotness where in my understanding, he's that attractive to females."

I twitched my lips biting my lips. Yeah, he was attractive like I wanted to punch his face several times until they cannot see his face so that they will leave him alone. I might be possessive but I had suffer in lots of things, which includes of seeing him with other woman and that pained more because it was my best friend that I treated like a sister.

I might be a kind person on those times that Adhiti has never been in a great struggle but now, I am the new Adhiti who is not the same.

"He end up sleeping with Eliza and they become officially." She ended it in a sentence.

"What kind of a person is Eliza?"

"She's kind, daring and good but you can never say those things. Sometimes, our eyes betray us. We can never know what she's capable of. I know that she's been in love to my brother and I never saw her so obsessed." She stop when she remember something. "However, I never like her."

"What makes you thought of that?"

Almira shook her head and smiles at me just to let go of the topic that she started.

"She's a granddaughter of Psyche blood. She's might be the next heiress of the throne. Nobody can tell. The elders somehow know something that they already predicted."

"If she has a psyche blood, which means that she has clairvoyance."

"That might be true but she never show us what she's capable of."

Same to us. She's intelligent but she never show what she can do. She never show what she is capable of. I am starting to doubt her on her beautiful smiles that she show me back then when I was in Mystical Academy.

"But, she still slept with my boyfriend. That's really bad." I shook my head.

"Oh, look." Almira pulls me to the vendor of jewelries, it has lots of stones, I am certain that they are real diamond, rubies, jades etc. I don't know why Almira pulls me here since she has lots of jewelries. I am very certain of that. She took an amethyst amulet in heart shape, which is surrounded by small diamond around the lace. She pulls it up in front of me. "Perfect for the ball."

"What ball?" she just smiles and buy it on the vendor.

"Great choice, Maladies. This amethyst gives a lot of comfort and strength for all of your burdens."

"Ah." I just nods. Is that how it is? She bought the set of the amulet with the earrings, bracelet, and ring. I don't know that she's so girly like Marissa. Speaking of Marissa, I miss her so much. We go to malls and buy shoes we loved. She got this urge on buying and buying shoes, mostly heels. And me, I love boots, sneakers, and rubber shoes. We have separate styles but we like the same.

"Let's go to the shoe-maker store."

"Could they make the style we wanted?"

"Of course. I sometimes, draw my design and they make it for me."

"Don't you have a royal shoe-maker?"

She laugh on my question. Yeah, why can't she have a royal-shoe maker? And royal dress-maker? And royal jewelry-maker. I am starting to doubt that she's a Princess.

"We have that. But they are too busy on my sister's shoes. Besides, I don't want to have the same styles with them. You see, I make my own dress-design and shoes design. My handsome brother is the one who started it. When I was little and I was a cry baby, he sneak me out the castle and brought me here around the towns and cities of our Kingdom."

We ate on some expensive restaurant here and demand a VIP room. It's not really VIP. VIP is from outside world. They call it Royal Cabin. It is like Japanese style because there's a short table in front of us and we sat on the cushion. The servants here are also dressed in ancient Japanese clothes. I do not understand why there are Korean traditional clothing, also Filipino traditional clothing.

Almira explained to me that their Kingdom is known to be like Asia continent on the outside world. But the clothing identify the town they are from. Since Era has lots of towns, it is easy to understand from where they came from in their clothing.

I am so surprised that they are also using wooden sticks. I enjoy the food with Almira and I can freely remove my mask and eat. The food was delicious and full of seasonings. After I enjoy eating with Almira we go around too. The sun was really up on the middle of the sky telling that it is really noon. I kept walking around on the crowd and just walk and walk until I did not noticed that Almira wasn't with me anymore.

I gasped, my heart jumps when someone grabbed my arm squeezing really tight. I glare and gritted my teeth on the man in a brown rough cloak. His head is just bowed down not even looking at me. Or more likely, he doesn't removed his hands off me.

"You shouldn't be here." His voice, rough, deep and strange. "People here will keep killing you."

"Who are you?" I gritted my teeth, getting alert as adrenaline rushes. When I heard a familiar girl laughing, he just grabbed me away from the crowd into a dark alley.
